A prayer for business:
No one's stopped by my store in weeks! If I don't get more customers soon, I'm going to have to close down.

[ While she might not have discovered her god powers yet, Nanako has at least spent a lot of time practicing her teleportation skills of late while exploring her way around the Far Shore. Coming to the place where all the mortals were still alive and busy was another thing, however, and somewhere she was still too nervous to venture to on her own. Especially considering the events that had occurred just after her arrival here. So when she received a Prayer that required her presence here, she'd turned to her big brother for help.

Which was how she ended up on a quiet sidewalk, gripping Souji's hand tightly and flanked by both Sumio and Homura. The place where they were to answer the Prayer was a small Pet Shop that looked like it had seen some better days, but was still brightly and colorfully decorated to draw the eye of passing shoppers. The display window held three puppies who rolled around and played while a fourth napped in the sun, and in the shop behind them could be seen a myriad of other animals all waiting to be taken home by someone. An older man in an apron - the owner, by all appearances - was tending to an aquarium, cleaning it and tending to the brightly colored fish within.

Nanako took it all in with wide eyes, looking both delighted and uncertain, before glancing up at her big brother. ]

Do you think this is the right place?

[ Nanako's too busy giggling to agree with her.

Then she reaches up to tug on Souji's sleeve, leaning up on tiptoes to confide a great secret. ]

I think Homura's wiggle is broken.

[ As far as whispers go, she doesn't even try to keep it too quiet for the girl at her side to overhear. ]

[ Souji leans down when Nanako tugs on his sleeve, listening indulgently to her stage whisper and looking at Homura as he does.

But then he cups his hand, turning more properly to Nanako, and answers in a similar "whisper." ]

It's not broken, Nanako. Some people don't have much of a wiggle, or one at all, and that's okay.

[She can hear you both. You aren't that far away from her.

She looks as neutral as ever.]

[ Nanako doesn't look all that convinced, as the deep sigh she gives in response might hint at, but she just nods and accepts it all the same. ]

Okay. But doesn't she make a cute bunny anyway?

[ Since Homura didn't agree with her, apparently but just look at her.

But back to the reason they were here in the first place... ] Did you find any customers, big bro?

[ Unlike Nanako, Souji does it intentionally. But at least she seems to accept it. Homura will be safe from wiggling for another day. ]

She does. [ Said to Nanako, then he turns to Homura. ] You look very cute, Homura. A bunny suits you.

[ He straightens, fixing the cat ears on his head. Because that's the kind of person he is. ] I did, in fact. And I'm considering coming here for the cats' toys and treats, myself, so this was a very successful trip all around.

[She looks dully at both of them. She can't believe she's being ganged up on like this.]

You should feed me more carrots.

[It's true though, they're starting to collect a truly alarming amount of cats.]

[ Nanako's pretty sure they haven't hit alarming yet, but they do have a lot. But as they all needed someone to look after them too, she doesn't mind much.

Still, Homura's answer is so surprising that her mouth just drops open for a moment. Had she...? Was that a joke? She risks a look at Souji's face just to make sure it was okay to laugh. ]

[ No, it's a little alarming, especially since he's not a god associated with cats.

Although, any thoughts about cats leave him completely as Souji registers the joke. He blinks down at Homura, surprised, but meets Nanako's gaze out of the corner of his eye when she looks at him.

And then he snorts abruptly, before he laughs. ]

[She doesn't exactly smile, but she does seem quietly pleased at the reaction she got out of Souji. Almost like she's silently preening.]

[welcome_home]

[ Nanako will take that as permission, because as Souji starts to laugh, she dissolves into a fit of giggles, clutching her stomach as she leans against his leg. ]

Yes. [ she manages to get that out between gleeful giggles. ] Homura makes the best bunny.

[ As he recovers, laughter fading into chuckles, Souji rubs his hand along the top of Nanako's head gently before he does the same for Homura. The affection is easy and freely given to both of them. ]

Definitely the best bunny.

[Homura lets her eyes close as she enjoys the affection. Yes, she does enjoy this.]
