Prayer #34 Write-in for Tanabata:

Forseti temple in Heligoland got wreaked by a small gang of teenagers. It's completely trashed much to the dismay of the fisherman that visits often. After having his fish saved he doesn't want the island to lose Forseti's blessing. It's too much work for one old man to handle. His granddaughter, that has come all the way from Japan to visit, suggests making a tanabata wish and to hang it up in the temple. So, with his granddaughter's help, he wishes for the temple to be cleaned up back to it's respectable state.

Prayer #36 Follow-up to 34:

The ayakashi that is causing all of the ruckus around Heligoland looks like a ram with one broken horn, and runs around with several groups of teenagers encouraging them to wreck any sort of building with a bit of prestige to it, which included Forseti's temple. They will need to track the ayakashi down by the trail of damage it's leaving in its wake.

Prayer #35:

Forseti is also the god that "stills all strife" in people's bonds! Unbeknownst to Aymeric, the temple-trashing teens actually started their messy activities because of a misunderstanding between one of the boys and a friend who didn't participate. That friend saw the fisherman's Tanabata wish and asked about it, wishing on the same paper that Forseti might repair the misunderstanding. The prayer was thus literally buried by the trashing of the temple. Time to set things right!

Prayer #37 Follow-up to 35:

With the advice given a success, the teenagers and the wishmaker seem to be at peace with each other! However, there's still something lurking around. Turns out it's a slippery naga ayakashi; time to track it down AND HIT IT WITH A FRIENDSHIP BEAM and ensure no more misunderstandings happen this time around!

Prayer #38 Follow-up to 36 and 37:

Our favorite fisherman, Frisch Singer, has gone out for his normal work and then a storm kicked up all of a sudden! Unbeknownst to the trio in Heligoland, it is a Draugen - the ghost of a man that died at sea - style ayakashi. The granddaugter makes a second wish, that her grandfather will come home safely! Little does she realize it will take the trio fighting a monster to bring him home.

"No need for apologies, it does occur." It's actually kind of cute in that childish way. But she's right; most of the trash isn't what was in the temple. And if it's 'guiding' them of sorts, Aymeric doesn't like the sound of it.

"This feels like a trap." He says as he follows Goten. "Take caution both of you."

Goten isn't slowing down, he's too curious. The trail is easy to follow, he's even made a bit of a game of hopping over it repeatedly as he follows it. Trap or not, theres' three of them. Kairi and Aymeric are some of the toughest people he knows. Besides, if things do get bad, he can grab Aymeric and Nimbus can grab Kairi.
Goten isn't worried.

The trail goes further then he expects it too but eventually it opens up to a clearing where the teenger's have set up 'base'. Goten stops at the bushes, waiting for Kairi and Aymeric to catch up as he peeks out.

There are multiple large groups of teenagers laughing it up. In the center is a pile of their 'trophies' from other buildings they trashed. Overlooking the pile is a large ram-shaped ayakashi that is missing a horn, chewing on a small statue that is clearly taken from Forseti's temple. It's not enough.

'M̀ó̸́r̀̕è̀̕.͡͞.̵̡.́̕'

The teenagers don't notice the ayakashi at all but the influence is there, weighing heavy in the air.
"Where should we do next?"
"Man, I donno but these small fry places are going boring. Who the fuck cares about an old stupid temple...if anything we improved that place"

'M̀ó̸́r̀̕è̀̕.͡͞.̵̡..

"Hey, let's go bigger then. Do more!"
"Go bigger..."
"Yeah! How about the Museum? My old man is a security guard there. I can get his keys and we can get in after dark"

Kairi hears Aymeric and she doesn't have enough experience to know a trap from a legitimate problem, but she nods anyway. He has a point and the best thing she can do is keep on her toes. Turns out that is enough.

The ayakashi lifts its nose into the air and starts sniffing around. Like it can smell something different. G̢̧o̵̸o̡d͜.̸̨.̶̶͘.̶ ̷̢Sm̵̢e͞͞l͜͝l͡.̡͜.͟.͞

Kairi's eyes go wide.

S̸̛mę̶̧lls..͢.̴ ̢Ģ͠ò̡o͘͡͏d̨̨̛.̷..́ ̷͘M̢o͏r͏ę̕͏?͞ The ayakashi stalks down off the trash pile while the boys continue plotting.

Kairi tries to run faster and then whispers harshly as she gets closer to the bushes. "Goten... Goten please come back!"

The ayakashi lowers its head and charges the bushes. M̨o̢̧͝r͟e?̨͞ M̨̨͢Ǫ͘͝O̷͢Ơ̵O̡O͝OR̸E͢!̀

She throws her hand out in front of her. "BORDERLINE!"

The bright blue-white light rises up in front of them both, startling the kids but she knows they'll forget about it soon enough. The point is that the ayakashi slams against Kairi's borderline.

The kids he can handle later; it is the ayakashi eating the trash that has his attention. Seeing that the creature has its eyes (or nose) on one of them, it's up to him to make the distraction and he knows how to do it. Bringing two fingers together, he whistles loudly and calls out.

"Over here!"

To Kairi it may seem little but Goten will remember his ability to Provoke an enemy to himself. And he knows that it will come towards him quick so he prepares himself and holds out his dominant swordhand, calling his shinki. "Let us waste no time! Come, Chinki!"

Goten tenses at the charging ram. He takes a stumbling step back just as the boarderline shoots up. He winces as the ayakashi slams into Kairi's borderline. Blinking slowly at it, he gives a nervous loop-sided grin.
That was close!
Good thing Kairi is good at borderlines--and fast!

"Th-Thanks..." Sitting on the ground in front of the boarder line, he watches the ayakashi shake it's head before taking a few steps back. Digging its foot into the ground, it looks ready to attempt to charge through that borderline but Aymeric snatches it's attention.

"Right!" Goten has just enough time to give a firm nod as his body gets enveloped in a familiar blue light and shoots for Aymeric's outstretched hand. The light explodes at the contact as translucent radiating blue energy covers the god's hand and extends into the shape of a blade. By now, it almost feels like second nature to Goten but its still as thrilling as ever which reflects in the 'blade' as it glows brighter.

'Ready whenever you are, Aymeric! Let's do our best! For Kairi too!'

Even though this is how things were supposed to go if they found an ayakashi - Goten and Aymeric taking care of it and no pressure for Kairi to necessarily have to Rend it by temporarily nora'ing for a god other than Roxas - it's still a mild shock to her. She hasn't watched this happen from the outside before. It's almost surreal.

... And then she realizes that the ram's attention is on Aymeric now. It was such a snappy reaction too. The creature didn't hesitate at all. But she needs to get out of the way. "Hey, N--" And just like that the cloud is already beside her. She jumps on without another thought and moves to hover up above the boys now running away from the area.

"Borderline!"

By doing this, she's hoping to accomplish two things... well, three. She places the Borderline between the ram and herself, cutting off an escape path for it and forcing it towards Aymeric no matter what. It also protects her, like she promised Roxas she'd do. Third, it can help protect the boys previously under the Ram ayakashi's influence.

"Go for it!"

She has no idea if she'll be able to hear Goten as a fellow shinki (she can't), but she's pretty sure Goten can hear her. So she'll cheer them both on.

That's all he needs as Kairi's Borderlines surround her and the teenagers. If it will help the boys come to their senses, then he will leave that in her capable hands. Right now, they have an ayakashi to deal with and his Provoke hasn't worn off yet and won't be for a bit thanks to the multiple hitting Circle of Scorn. He knows how this goes and as much as he would be fine doing a Rend spell, it may not work so quickly, especially if the ayakashi is still strong.

But for now, he focuses on weakening it as he strikes several more times. "How are you holding up, Goten? Feeling alright?" At least by now, the last attack he managed to get on it was in fact Rage of Halone which should help sap its strength for a little bit.

Goten is excited as ever and that reflects in the strength of his vessel. Aymeric is amazing! He moves so quick! They've worked together to take down ayakashi before but it never gets old seeing what Aymeric can do. Goten does his best to keep up with his god, energy not wavering in the slightest as in tears into the ayakashi with each strike. Even for quick strikes they're strong, especially the last one.

Goten doesn't quite understand it but it's like his strikes have an additional effect to them that is not his own. Is that Aymeric's doing? He knows he's strong in this form but a lot of it relies on Aymeric to.

"Ahuh! Ahuh! I could do this all day--but I don't think it can. It doesn't look so tough anymore!" Goten's voice echo's to Aymeric as the ram ayakashi seems to be struggling to keep up with them at all. It can barely stand but it seems to be putting it's all into one final charge.

Since Aymeric and Goten have the ayakashi handled, Kairi smiles as she looks back down at the boys. With the ayakashi's focus gone to the god-shinki duo, she expects the boys they rescued to be doing just fine.

Yet they're shoving each other...? Arguing? "What the..."

She tries to angle herself into a better position to maintain the borderline while also observing the boys, hoping to see some kind of 'effect' snap off when the ayakashi is finally defeated.

Looking at the ayakashi, Aymeric can notice that their strategy did indeed work if it looks like it will try one last attack. But he won't let it happen. He raises the Goten Sword with one hand and the other presses two fingers on the blade, feeling the strength of his partner as he begins the chant:

"You who desecrate this land of the Rising Sun. With my Advent, I ,Forseti lay waste with Chinki and expel thy vast defilement!"

With eyes flashing, he rushes towards the ayakashi one last time with sword raised.

"REND!"

The blade shines even brighter then before. The energy flares up almost like an excited sparking flame as Aymeric starts the Rend spell. It's a rush and even in vessel form, though unseen, Goten is grinning eagerly. It's not the same as sparring, this is something only him and Aymeric can do when working together.

Practically saying 'Rend' in time with his god, the blade slices cleanly through the ayakashi leaving a streak of fading blue light. The halves fall forward before exploding and then disintegrating into speckles of light.

She sighs with relief. "They did it. I knew they would." Talking to Nimbus as much as to herself.

Slowly, she lowers back down to the ground and the Borderline's light fades as it does. Kairi even gives a little golf clap. "I know you can't talk to me Goten, but you did a really good job." Now to make sure they know about what else she noticed...
