Prayer #34 Write-in for Tanabata:
Forseti temple in Heligoland got wreaked by a small gang of teenagers. It's completely trashed much to the dismay of the fisherman that visits often. After having his fish saved he doesn't want the island to lose Forseti's blessing. It's too much work for one old man to handle. His granddaughter, that has come all the way from Japan to visit, suggests making a tanabata wish and to hang it up in the temple. So, with his granddaughter's help, he wishes for the temple to be cleaned up back to it's respectable state.
Prayer #36 Follow-up to 34:
The ayakashi that is causing all of the ruckus around Heligoland looks like a ram with one broken horn, and runs around with several groups of teenagers encouraging them to wreck any sort of building with a bit of prestige to it, which included Forseti's temple. They will need to track the ayakashi down by the trail of damage it's leaving in its wake.
Prayer #35:
Forseti is also the god that "stills all strife" in people's bonds! Unbeknownst to Aymeric, the temple-trashing teens actually started their messy activities because of a misunderstanding between one of the boys and a friend who didn't participate. That friend saw the fisherman's Tanabata wish and asked about it, wishing on the same paper that Forseti might repair the misunderstanding. The prayer was thus literally buried by the trashing of the temple. Time to set things right!
Prayer #37 Follow-up to 35:
With the advice given a success, the teenagers and the wishmaker seem to be at peace with each other! However, there's still something lurking around. Turns out it's a slippery naga ayakashi; time to track it downAND HIT IT WITH A FRIENDSHIP BEAMand ensure no more misunderstandings happen this time around!
Prayer #38 Follow-up to 36 and 37:
Our favorite fisherman, Frisch Singer, has gone out for his normal work and then a storm kicked up all of a sudden! Unbeknownst to the trio in Heligoland, it is a Draugen - the ghost of a man that died at sea - style ayakashi. The granddaugter makes a second wish, that her grandfather will come home safely! Little does she realize it will take the trio fighting a monster to bring him home.

"If I stick with you two, and we have Nimbus nearby, I should be fine to check it out with you. This feels too much like a coincidence for us to ignore." And she doesn't want to leave something unfinished again, like when she and Goten had to leave Heligoland and come back with their respective gods.

"That may solve two of you being able to travel but that still leaves myself." He starts to explain. "Teleporting might take me to a place I have no knowledge of nor any direction that I cannot see and I not have the power of flight lest there is a black chocobo hidden here." Their chances of all three of them going together is slim since one is grounded.
"Mayhap...a boat would be the best course."
/sneaks in here so they can figure out the boat thing
Kairi starts to wander off but then turns back to Aymeric with a friendly salute. "This one's on me, alright? Since you two have been cleaning up the ayakashi themselves!" And she jogs on down to the banks of the White Cliffs area to see if the girl's there keeping a lookout for her grandfather, Frisch Singer the best Forseti Follower in all of Heligoland.
Sure enough there's one smaller boat with a single outboard motor that Kairi recognizes the basic steering of and the way to start the engine. After Kairi reassures the girl that she's not going out alone and they'll do their absolute best to avoid the storm, she points to Aymeric for the 'they' part. Thanks to their Far Shore "normality" guise, the girl doesn't think anything else of what they're asking for. Kairi waves again for Aymeric and Goten to join her on the rocky European beach looking out over the North Sea.
please do, someone doesn't want to explain about Grand Theft Boat
Upon seeing Kairi speak to the girl and point to him, the only thing he could do is simply wave and nod in reassurance because trusting an adult in this world seems to be the best way to get what they want. Sometimes smiling and nodding is the best thing to do as he beckons over to Goten. "We may have gotten our transportation after all. I owe Kairi quite a lot."
aBOAT time; lets seas the day!
"I wouldn't worry about that. Kairi is just doing what Kairi does best. She's amazing with people." He explains with a shrug. She does have a lot of friends and just about everyone he meets has met her first. If anything, it's making Kairi feel like more of a team player since Roxas isn't here...even-though her borderlines have been extremely helpful.
As they arrive at the rocky beach over looking the north sea, Goten looks around for the boat. "So...does anyone know how to drive a boat?"
pun pun puuuuun (9/20)
She looks over her shoulder, out towards the storm. "I don't think we'll have any trouble figuring out where we want to go." She grabs a life preserver for herself, but debates a minute before eventually looking at Goten too. "Do me a favor... put this on just in case? I know you can fly, but in case you get... knocked out?" She's hesitant to suggest it, but that's why. And she's found that if she's honest with Goten then he sometimes sees her logic. It's not that he can't handle himself! ... If he's awake for it.
"Aymeric I'll let you decide if you want to wear one. It's to help you float in the water. Then everyone get inside and we'll start this thing up." And one more for Goten specifically: "Please don't fly out there in case you need enough energy to fly all the way back to shore." Again JUST IN CASE.
/keeps all her cookies (10/20)
"I can swim but it cannot be harmful to take any precautions." Maybe if he wears it, Goten might as well. "Tis best to be prepared for anything ahead of us." He's mainly speaking because Kairi has more knowledge on this so it's wise to follow her word lest the boat ends up doing something like capsizing. But that won't happen.
but im one smart cookie :C [ 11/20 ]
"It's sorta hard to move like this..." He mutters as he zips up the life preserver, making a face. It may be a little big too or that's just how it's suppose to be. Still, if Kairi and Aymeric say it's for the best he'll trust them. The last bit makes him look back to Kairi curiously.
"I kinda wanted to see what riding in a boat was like!" And he is actually starting to feel a bit tired. After Rending two ayakashi, his energy is starting feel a little low but he doesn't want to admit it. The only give away is that he isn't bouncing around as much.
"Let's go save that old guy now!" And into the boat Goten goes.
sorry Az, that's how the cookie crumbles [ 12/20 ]
"Okay let's see..." And he braces her feet, then pulls on the boat motor's cord the same way one would a lawnmower. It doesn't start at first so she tries again. "Sit down and get ready." One more.... And then the motor kicks over, so Kairi sits down on the back bench, then starts messing with the rudder. Yes, that's how you steer, okay. "Ready... go!"
And they're off!
/Noms all the cookies (13/20)
Feeling the boat shake at the startup, Aymeric's body jolts a bit. Riding magitek is still odd to him and somehow flying chickens and dragons are normal. Somewhat.
"How fast does this machine go?" That is in no way a suggestion to go faster, more like what to know just in case things get overwhelming. Besides if it's metal, it is possible to help it out once he knows the basics.
good thing im one tough cookie too (14/20)
Being in the boat isn't scary. Maybe it's because they're so close to the water or he's use to riding Nimbus. It sure is bouncier then flying or riding that yellow cloud, but it sort of makes it that much fun as they break through some waves.
"I think it can go faster to, Aymeric!" Goten grins, leaning on the side to look at the water, letting the wind blow back his hair. He totally misunderstands the suggestion but thats okay. They're getting closer to their destination.
http://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/ (15/20)
"Maybe we can find out if it goes faster on the way back." She grins over at Goten. "Right now is the time we should go slower so we can be more careful." As if on cue, the darker clouds boom with thunder. One, two, three, four, five, six... And the lightning crackles.
"That means the center of the storm is about six miles away from here." Kairi sounds confident about that too. Like this should be common knowledge. "So we should start thinking about what you want to do if we see the ayakashi."
that still exists? (16/20)
"That and also how to defend Master Singer if we cannot get him out simply. Goten and I can work offensively but are you able to use Borderlines as a defense around him?" He knows Goten is getting tired but he's reminded that only a god and shinki pair can Rend so they have no other choice on that. All he can try to do is shift the weight for everyone.
I actually played it just now.... got to 5k
"Yeah we'll take out the ayakashi if we see one! Just like the other ones." Goten agrees. Though he won't complain if there isn't one. Still, the closer they get the darker the sky is getting and the harder the waves are crashing. The thunder is booming.
"Look!"
Goten wobbles a bit, standing up to point ahead of them. Roughly where the center of the storm is, there's a tiny boat that's about to flipped over by a rouge wave.
I have a game running at home that's been on for weeks lmao (18/20! Last required round)
Kairi reaches down under her seat and hands the one spare in the boat to him. "Please fly with this one and find Mr. Singer. We need to get him in the boat before--"
And as she says that, there's a breaching sound of waves as something's head coasts along just underneath the surface of the water, heading towards them in a wide circle like it's trying to stir up an underwater cyclone.
I am not making an Over 9000 joke (19/20)
"Goten! Get Master Singer now! I can not predict how long I can keep the metal from departing his boat but we only have moments! Kairi, you may need to prepare that Borderline to give us more time!"
But i'm just saiyan (20/20)
"B-But..."
And it's Aymeric saying his name that makes his attention snap to his god. He frowns, biting back words of protest.
"Okay....I'll be fast!" Gripping the life-vest tightly, he jumps out of the boat and makes a beeline for Singer's boat. It's a quick zip since the boats aren't too far apart but it does leave Aymeric and Kairi to deal with the ayakashi lurking below on their own for a bit. He lands in the boat, stumbling a bit as another wave slams into it. The only thing holding the old fishing boat together is probably Ayermic's powers.
"Hey mister, here! Put this on. We need to get out of here..." Goten practically shouts, shoving the life-vest into the man's arms.
There's probably a billion questions going through Singer's mind right now. Where the kid came from, how he's there but with the peril going on around them the fisherman is quick to comply and slips on the life-vest. Questions later, action now.
we're all just saiyan by now (WOO!!)
"Got it."
She looks over the side of the boat and waits until the ayakashi is closer to them than Mr. Singer's boat. She unleashes the Dagger style borderline at the thing beneath the water and while she's not sure it connected, it definitely glowed brightly in that direction. The ayakashi stops and takes a wide arc away from them before emerging from the waves with a gaping maw headed towards Kairi and Aymeric.
"BORDERLINE!"
She has to use the boat as the base for the wall, but eventually it pushes into the sky as the draugen-style ayakashi tries to toss their little boat with waves. Water sprays to either side but so far that's all. And hey, they got its attention away from Mr. Singer. She thought he might've gotten tossed into the water already, but thankfully not.
"GOTEN!"
/prays to Chrome Gods that this won't click off ;;
"Goten, hurry! I cannot keep ahold of the metal for much longer!"

"I'm here!"
It's mostly meant for Aymeric as he stares at the ayakashi that isn't letting up it's assault on the trio and Singer.

"Aymeric, Goten - please take care of the storm and I'll protect Mr. Singer." Because sure, it's just a 'storm' that's causing all of this, riiiight. "LINE!"
And with that she gets the boat split in half, herself and Singer on the one side, Goten and Aymeric on the other. She doesn't have to tell them what to do next.
