What: Lavi’s taken on a personalized mission. It’s time to research some acid-proof materials.



After receiving the request from Orihime, Lavi’s decided that there are some people he believed would be able to help him make this task just a little easier. So, it isn’t hard at all for him to send them a simple text:

Hope you guys aren’t busy, but I’m hoping you’d guys be able to help me out with researching for acid-proof materials.

Yeah, he's one with the sleepover. I was busy that night, so I couldn't go.

[He'll go ahead and teleport them down to the store.]

[Lavi makes a soft sound.]

You didn't miss out much.

[Worst. Night. Ever.

But Lavi still can't get used to teleporting, so he just holds back a faint grimace when they appear in front of the store.]

Really? It sounded like fun.

[He'll look over at Lavi...]

Are you okay, man?

The sleepover part where everyone was awake was fun.

[He nods.]

Yeah. Just not used to teleporting is all.

[fullcowl]

Did something weird happen when people fell asleep?

[He hovers for a moment, but nods. If Lavi says he's fine, he'll believe it.

He'll go ahead and slip into the store.

Lots of gloves and aprons that are specifically made to be acid resistant.]

Apparently, people's been able to enter other people's dreams.

[Lavi shortly follows him.

He eyes the gloves and aprons, looking interest as he tries to figure out what materials they're made of.]

[He immediately pales at the thought of that.]

Oh no, that would've been so embarrassing.

It'll probably be easier if we buy some of them.

[lostinshadows]

I think the right word would be 'traumatizing'.

[A side eye look before he nods.]

Yeah. At least Lady Orihime would be able to get a better idea if she sees these.

That depends on the dream...

[Oh god that means everybody would've seen Izuku's dreams. His really embarrassing on a date with Shouto dreams.

... At least he didn't go.]

Let's pick a few of them up.

...You wouldn't have been dreaming of your new boyfriend, would you?

[Definitely teasing.

But Lavi does grab a few of the gloves, looking at the aprons.]

Should I grab some aprons, too?

[fullcowl]

Wh-What!? N-no of course not!!

[Of course he would.]

Wh-while we're here we might as well.

[lostinshadows]

Deku, you're turning red.

[There's a big grin on Lavi's face even as he goes to get the aprons, too.]

[fullcowl]

Please don't look at me!

[He says as he buries his face in his arms.]

[lostinshadows]

It's hard not to look at you while you're turning into a tomato over there.

[Lavi wraps an arm around Izuku's shoulder, bringing him into a one-side hug.]

[fullcowl]

Can you ignore it?

[He's practically squeaking, but he does lean into the hug.]

[lostinshadows]

I would if you weren't so obvious.

[But come on now, 'brother', time to pay for the stuff.]

[fullcowl]

[He huffs, but at least he'll lower his arms.

To the cashier... It takes him a few minutes to realize that they're there but at least they're eventually noticed.

Izuku'll go ahead and pay for it before taking the bag of stuff.]

Anything else you need here?

Not particularly.

[Lavi removes his arm around Izuku, looking thoughtful.]

But maybe we can check out more information for acid-resistant materials? See if there's any sort of specific material instead of just relying on the gloves and aprons for reference.

There are probably a few places that are researching something like that. Chemical labs or colleges, in particular, would be interested in acid proofing.

[There's a grin.]

[Lavi rubs the back of his neck, looking somewhat sheepish.]

If you don't mind.

No problem.

[He'll start heading in the direction of the subways.]

It's kind of nice to walk around.

[lostinshadows]

[Lavi follows after him, keeping the recently bought items close to him.]

It is.

[He looks around the city.] Especially with how lively it seems.

This is one of the most crowded places in Tokyo.

It would be weird if it wasn't lively.
