After receiving the request from Orihime, Lavi’s decided that there are some people he believed would be able to help him make this task just a little easier. So, it isn’t hard at all for him to send them a simple text:

Hope you guys aren’t busy, but I’m hoping you’d guys be able to help me out with researching for acid-proof materials.

If it was ayakashi, then temples wouldn't be disappearing along with the gods. They simply disappear.

Her fingers fly rapid over the keypad and she holds out the phone with a shaky hand.]

[He's a bit taken back by her reaction.

Immediately, he shakes his head.]

Calm down, calm down. I don't think it's alien abductions - that might just offend the actual aliens we have here.
