[July 8th-10th; Basic Botany and Prickly Friends]
[Having told Sora he'd do it, Nari is out and about the temple grounds just cataloging and drawing all of the plants in a notebook he stolebought from a shop. Anything that is poisonous to cats has been marked with a white ribbon on it, which a cat that's been following him around plays with. His little 'helper' will most likely notice any visitor first and come up to see who they are. Let May say hello!

When not drawing plants, he's... digging. A lot. A small plot on the side closer to what he's been told was the shortcut to Artemis' Temple. There's a few pallets around his feet of what look like various succulents and cacti. Why? Well, why not?]


[July 8th-10th?; Owain; Any time]
[Having talked to a few people over the past few days, he knows that eventually some guy named Owain will show up. Hopefully. The directions were pretty clear cut on how to get to Baldr's temple. Showing someone how to use a phone seems like a good enough way to spend the day. Now to just wait. And wait.]


[July 11th; Luna; Any time]
[Raphael, if that was her real name, seemed nice enough that Nari actually felt compelled to help her. The plant she was holding wasn't one he's ever seen before, so he's excited. And if the plant could indeed be grown with his abilities? Score! Free berries that can be planted at his own god's temple as well. Now... Is a cathedral this building he's looking at?]

[July 12th; Baldr's Temple]
[After a nice day out and about, it was time to go back to digging. Furrows have been added close to where the cacti and succulents were for... who knows what. Nari is mostly waiting to see if the cat(s) he wants to get from Souji are available yet since it'd be nice to have his own pet. May is loved and all, but she was Sora's, and the other animals at the temple (Wanwan) just weren't his thing.

Later, in the early evening, There's a pit dug into the beach with leaves over it. Seems there's something cooking under those leaves if you're curious to see just what kind of culinary delight this shinki has come up with. Any of Sora's visitors are welcome to try and snag some of the food.]

[Owain would have come sooner but some issues arose with his goddess vanishing and him becoming suddenly homeless. Also people being mean and telling him not to go be a hero alone. So here he is, visiting the temple.

Still, what would be an entrance without some grandeur.]

The hero arrives! Belatedly.

[Whoa, there he is! Nari can't keep a snort from slipping out as he shrugs.]

You should talk to my god then. He's got light covered as part of his job. Can totally chase all that dark shit away.

[So start from the basics it is. He fishes his phone out and unlocks the screen before showing it to Owain. There's little app images on the screen, neatly lined up as to not cover up the three kittens that are the background.]

Okay. See this green button with the weird looking white C? That's the call button. You press on it-[He pokes the button and a screen with numbers comes up.]-This is where you enter someone's phone number unless you have them under a contact.

So I should collect the addresses for people's phones so I may reach out to them whenever I please as opposed to sending my thoughts and questions to the entirety of the heavens.

[He hands it over and watches with childlike curiosity. This is cool. Also way above him but hey he's going to enjoy it.]

[It takes a couple of minutes before Owain will get his phone back. Nari nods to himself, then looks at the other.]

I'm gonna walk away. Don't follow me, got it? Pay attention to your phone, and when it makes a noise, push the green button and then put the phone by your ear. You can hear me that way. Got it?

[Not really going to let Owain get a word in. Nari walks off and steps inside of the building before hitting Owain's contact info to call him.]

Come on, Nerd Lord, pick up.

[It takes a moment, not because he doesn't understand the instructions but because he's prepping his greeting.]

[Which all in all means that about five minutes later Owain will be receiving yet another call. Before the blond can say anything, Nari bursts out laughing.]

Ya know, a simple fucking hello will do! You sounded like an answering machine!

[He stares at the phone thinking it might be broken or maybe he missed a step. Then it rings and he takes a breath to try again.]

H...

[Oh, wow. Cut off already.]

A machine? Is my manner so droll? I will have to be louder, more vibrant!

No. It means you're saying too much. Just say "Hi, this is Owain" or just "Hello". Like a normal human being. Less people will hang up on you that way.

But what if an impostor were to take up this device and deceive my would be allies? A simple phrase will be too easy to take up. A more verbose greeting will prove my voice to be true and shine light on the lies of any who would try.

That is true. I must endeavor though to secure my line of communication. That will come with time.

[He was about to go into another rant but has to just huff when he gets hung up on again. That is a weirdly agitating feature, letting people escape like that.

Of course when he comes back out, Owain gets to continue.]

I am not sure about withholding my number. I could keep such a thing a secret, though I do not see the point. If I am to excel at my new existence I should open myself to all who wish to reach the hero beyond life and death himself!
