[July 8th-10th; Basic Botany and Prickly Friends]
[Having told Sora he'd do it, Nari is out and about the temple grounds just cataloging and drawing all of the plants in a notebook he stolebought from a shop. Anything that is poisonous to cats has been marked with a white ribbon on it, which a cat that's been following him around plays with. His little 'helper' will most likely notice any visitor first and come up to see who they are. Let May say hello!

When not drawing plants, he's... digging. A lot. A small plot on the side closer to what he's been told was the shortcut to Artemis' Temple. There's a few pallets around his feet of what look like various succulents and cacti. Why? Well, why not?]


[July 8th-10th?; Owain; Any time]
[Having talked to a few people over the past few days, he knows that eventually some guy named Owain will show up. Hopefully. The directions were pretty clear cut on how to get to Baldr's temple. Showing someone how to use a phone seems like a good enough way to spend the day. Now to just wait. And wait.]


[July 11th; Luna; Any time]
[Raphael, if that was her real name, seemed nice enough that Nari actually felt compelled to help her. The plant she was holding wasn't one he's ever seen before, so he's excited. And if the plant could indeed be grown with his abilities? Score! Free berries that can be planted at his own god's temple as well. Now... Is a cathedral this building he's looking at?]

[July 12th; Baldr's Temple]
[After a nice day out and about, it was time to go back to digging. Furrows have been added close to where the cacti and succulents were for... who knows what. Nari is mostly waiting to see if the cat(s) he wants to get from Souji are available yet since it'd be nice to have his own pet. May is loved and all, but she was Sora's, and the other animals at the temple (Wanwan) just weren't his thing.

Later, in the early evening, There's a pit dug into the beach with leaves over it. Seems there's something cooking under those leaves if you're curious to see just what kind of culinary delight this shinki has come up with. Any of Sora's visitors are welcome to try and snag some of the food.]

Apocalypse is out running some errands for Add—picking up materials for mechanical work, maybe some groceries, etc. Nothing is listed as a high priority at the moment, so doing a sweep of some of the surrounding areas of the Far Shore is calculated to be a productive use of time along the way. As it passes near Baldr's temple, the familiar energy signature assigned to May(hem) is picked up. It's been months since Apocalypse was last able to properly check up on the feline...

So, Nari will probably be surprised by the glowing purple cube that hovers over from beyond the treeline, stopping a few inches above the ground next to May. At least the cat doesn't seem to be bothered?

Since coming here, Nari has not heard May sound so loud and happy unless those two love-struck gods were in residence. He searches for a moment before his eyes fall on the cat in question and a......... cube? May was pawing gently at whatever that thing was, and curiosity wins out with that lack of fear this kitty was displaying.

He keeps his notebook on him and carefully approaches the two. "May? Whatcha got there? A friend?" Nari, cats can't talk! Stopping short, he sits a foot or so away from them, trying to gauge the situation. "Hello, cube thing. Planning on killing us all?"

The cube's surface flickers as it brings itself down a little lower to May's reach. After a pause, a strong white glow starts to build at its core along with a faint high-pitched sound, almost like something being charged up to fire. It builds for only a couple seconds before suddenly compressing into a tiny pinpoint, firing a thin beam of light down at the ground—

Which May pounces at, because it's basically a laser pointer. Truly, Apocalypse is the pinnacle of advanced Nasod technology.

Multitasking with ease, it continues to play with the cat according to its feline distraction subroutine while also flashing Nari with a quick scan. Having identified the shinki as non-threatening, its ears and cat face flicker on along with a small purple holoscreen that Nari is free to touch and move around.

That sound is worrying, till.... okay. That's cool and cute. May must know this thing to want to play with it. Good, that means she'll get tired out and maybe stop following Nari around trying to get his attention every five seconds. This is what happens when there's kittens involved around an older cat. Jealous cat wants all the attention.

He blinks a few times, and then moves closer to kneel down and gently poke the cube. "Hey there. I'm Nari. You're... pretty unique. Cute cat face, by the way, totally loving it." Is he going to pet the cat cube? Yes. He's going to now pet this new cat friend.

july 12th, the pit

[ Honestly, it was the smell of the food that made her curious. Mira usually keeps her window open during the day, especially when it's warmer! So it's only natural she'd get a whiff of whatever he's making. Mira peeks out the window to see who's out there, and-- of course it's Nari.

Well... she's just too curious. So she ties her hair back and slips on a pair of shoes to go on down to the beach. ]

Nari? What are you making? It smells wonderful.

[He honestly hadn't been expecting anyone to be home. Then again, he mostly stuck to his own thing anyways. Keeping track of the others fell by the wayside when it came to personal comfort. So hearing Mira's voice has him looking over his shoulder, surprise clear on his face.]

Crab bake. Just a little longer before everything's ready.

[There's a blanket nearby with plates and various butter and other dressings. It's all ready for a good dinner!]

[ She nods and crouches down next to the pit with her arms wrapped around her knees. She's not close enough to possibly fall in, at least. Mira's just looking, examining what's all going into it. Heck, maybe she should ask how he did this? It would be a nice thing to do on nice days like this. ]

Let me guess... you caught the crabs yourself? [ She asks it with a smile. ] Are there vegetables, too?

Nope. Got them from a store. [As in just grabbed some, but shhhhh no need for details.] I'm no good with crab pots.

[He could explain the science and setup behind it, and make it sound super easy. But it's not.] Yep. Cooking in the with the crab. Wrapped in aluminum foil so they cook more evenly. Carrots, potatoes, celery... hardy things.

July 8th

[Davesprite isn't exactly a stranger to Sora, so occasionally on one of his general drifts around the Far Shore, he ends up around the guy's temple grounds. This is also not the first time he's noticed a small animal hanging around there with someone he knows, so when he does, he drifts down in that general direction, scattering a few orange feathers on his way that may or may not land in Nari's line of sight.

His attempts to give the cat a wide berth are thwarted a bit when he leaves his tailtip in too close a range, though Davesprite seems to reconcile himself to his fate once said cat starts trying to paw at the insubstantial wisp.]

...Yeah, okay, I guess any chance of me making a sneaky dramatic entrance just went right out the fucking window.

[Nari is way too absorbed in the current plant he's taking notes on and double-checking on wikipedia to notice anything. The voice is quick to draw him out of that as he looks over.]

Sorry. She's insisting on playing guard cat while I'm out here. Ain't no on sneaking up on me.

Damn. Hope she's getting paid grandly for that diligence, good bodyguards are hard to find. [That said, he's going to kind of scoot around the cat so it can keep playing with his tail wisp and not notice his feathery wings.

Given where this is, though, Davesprite has to quirk a brow.] So. Didn't know you knew Sora, though his adorable as fuck chimeric cat thing isn't around so I'm gonna assume he isn't supervising this study.

[He looks down at his notes and adds a few more lines to a small paragraph. Nari shrugs a bit as he slowly sketches out the flower in front of him.] He's my new god. Old one went poof and all. Wonton is... fuck if I know where the bear cat monster is. Around here somewhere? Sora's boyfriend has new kittens, and that thing likes to play babysitter with them.

July 10th

[Owain would have come sooner but some issues arose with his goddess vanishing and him becoming suddenly homeless. Also people being mean and telling him not to go be a hero alone. So here he is, visiting the temple.

Still, what would be an entrance without some grandeur.]

[So start from the basics it is. He fishes his phone out and unlocks the screen before showing it to Owain. There's little app images on the screen, neatly lined up as to not cover up the three kittens that are the background.]

Okay. See this green button with the weird looking white C? That's the call button. You press on it-[He pokes the button and a screen with numbers comes up.]-This is where you enter someone's phone number unless you have them under a contact.

July 8th - Botany

[Scully hasn't seen Nari around since the beach party; it takes her a moment to recognize the young man when she sees him working on... is that a cactus garden? ... on her morning walk.

A white cat trots over from its position by his side to look up at her with a mew. Scully blinks down at the cat, then crouches and offers her hand. It promptly rubs against her knee instead, leaving a sprinkling of white hairs over her black pants.]

[Sorry he's been a complete recluse or just wandering where most people don't go. He looks over when he hears the greeting, waving at Scully.]

Sup? [Points at the cat who is now purring as she demands more attention from the woman.] That's May, queen of this temple. She belongs to my god.

Hello, May.

[Scully reaches to awkwardly scratch behind the cat's ears. May promptly butts her head against Scully's fingers. She is, Scully has to admit, pretty cute.]

You're gardening, Nari?

[-- and she was going to comment on his interesting cactus selection when she is interrupted, instead, by several violent sneezes. May retreats several feet away, looking deeply offended by the noise.]

July 12

[Chikusa hasn't even been formally invited here, but you know what? That's not stopping him from checking out what's going on with the leaf cooking, a tupperware container in one hand. It's hard to miss him- he's as tall as ever and wearing a bright red beanie.]

[He won't have to look far for the cathedral's inhabitant, since Luna is currently outside looking for a good place to plant her berries.]

[With a nod and a curt salute, he takes a quick glance at the surroundings. Hmm...]

Yep, that's me. [A pause.] You say you got it from home? Where do ya usually find it growing? Shade? Somewhere sunny? Wet or dry?
