Who: Nanako and anyone inclined to be out exploring or who might notice a new mountain looming in the Far Shore.

Where: Nanshe's newly-discovered Temple
What: Nanako has discovered she has god powers after all! Now it's led her to finally discovering she has a temple here and it gives her the perfect place to try out some of the new things she can do.

A; To Find Shelter

[ It's been a little over a week since Nanako had discovered that she did indeed have a god power of her very own. Even if it had taken her awhile to get the hang of it. It was still taking her a while to get the hang of it, but today she's taken a break from practicing in the backyard of Souji's temple to go investigate something for herself.

Because she's felt a pull that's been growing stronger over the past few days, insistent and niggling and new. Since it hadn't faded or gone away, she'd decided this morning to follow it and see what she found.

Which is how she ends up at the base of a mountain not that long a walk away from Souji's temple. A mountain which she's very sure she's never seen before. She thinks? But there's a walled gate around its base that feels vaguely familiar to her, even if she doesn't know why. The gate stands wide open and welcoming, however, so she proceeds inside, heading up a long stone staircase to the shrine she finds at the top, brightly colored with banners waving and surrounded by a hillside full of blooming azalea bushes. The shrine itself is set beside a huge lake full of fat and lazy fish swimming within its depths.

And the more she explores of this place, the more certain she is - she's finally found Nanshe's temple. Her temple. Delighted, she starts poking into every inch of the shrine she can find, exploring all over it and seeing everything hidden within this new place. Eventually, she'll go looking for her brother and Homura, wanting to share with them her newest discovery, but if anyone else happens by in the meantime, she might excitedly show them around as well. ]

B; To Rise

[ The discovery of her very own temple means one thing for certain - it's given her a wide open space to keep practicing her new abilities. And since she now knows how to look for that tiny flicker of power that seems to blossom brighter each time she uses it, it's easy to flit back and forth between normal and the form her god power seems to give her - that of a halo and tiny wings and a bright cheerful glow that surrounds her every time it manifests.

She hasn't figured out yet if her power will allow her to fight evil spirits any better - especially when she doesn't know how to fight in the first place. But there are other uses to this power she's learning about. Like the fact that the tiny feathered wings on her back actually work, and as long as she can keep her focus steady, she can even manage to float for increasingly longer periods of time.

So of course this is what she's practicing, once she finds her own private mountaintop filled with colorful flowers, trees, and banners. Although it's with dubious success at first, she's determined to get better at it.

So, throughout various points of the day - and possibly the next few days - there's a tiny girl with angel wings floating, bobbing, and sometimes zooming around her shrine and occasionally even venturing outside her temple to see how far she can fly and how long she can manage it. Sorry, friends, her control isn't all that great yet... ]

[Goten stares at her for the longest. He blinks slowly and rubs his eyes quickly before looking to her again.]

Na-Nanako? What are you....how are you?

[He floats closer, trying to get a better look at her. Noticing the halo and wings. He's seen something about this before....something about angels? But to be an angel..]

Nanako...did...did you die?! When did that happen? Are you okay?

[His friend is dead! But she's here, but she's an angel. Goten is so confused. Isn't the far shore kind of like heaven? There's gods and stuff....so maybe angels are a thing he's just never seen before.----How is he going to tell Izumo, Souji and everyone?!]

[ She looks confused for a moment until she realized what he thinks and she's quick to shake her head, waving her hands so emphatically that she wobbles and slips a little lower before managing to right herself again. ]

No, no! I didn't die! I'm okay, Goten! It's my power! I found it! I just look like this when I'm using it.

[He's starting to tear up already as his bottom lip trembles.

N-nanako...

But he blinks slowly listening to her.]

Are you...sure you're not dead? It's really your god power?

[He doesn't look sure. Those wings, the halo....He really likes Nanako she isn't allowed to die ever so this is awful. But he's calming down, rubbing his eyes again.
If Nanako says she's not dead then she's got to be telling the truth. She'd know better then anyone, right?]

[ She wobbles before swooping closer and colliding with him in an enthusiastic hug, not wanting him to be upset. ]

I promise! I didn't die. I just found my power finally, and when I use it, I look like this!

[ She doesn't understand why, exactly, but she likes it so far. Especially the flying! ]

[Goten blinks when she collides with him. He drops a bit with her weight but quickly rights himself as he wraps his arms around her, hugging her back tightly cause it would be awful if Nanako was dead. She's a good friend.]

Oh....Okay! As long as you didn't die. That's amazing Nanako.

[He smiles, pulling an arm back to rub at his face. He is excited for her and her power]

We can fly together then, huh? No one else has been able to fly with me before.

[ She pulls back when he does and smiles warmly at him. ]

We can! I'm not very good at it yet, though. Will you show me how?

[Goten mirrors her smile, looking more excited now that everything is cleared up because now he has a flying buddy!]

Um, I donno how to do it with wings but I'll help you as much as I can! I'll swoop down and catch you if you start to fall too! Promise!

[He grins, reaching out to take her hand]

We can start slow and if you get tired, lemme know!

Okay! I only did that a couple times... [ She admits this sheepishly. ] If I'm not paying attention or I forget what I'm doing, they go poof!

[ Yup, that's totally the technical term for it. ]

You just gotta keep it in the back of your mind then! Um, like i said..I donno how it is with wings but the way I fly, I sorta have to push myself. I had to focus on it a lot when I first figured out how to fly...but now its super easy.

[While keeping hold of her hand, he floats up a bit before doing a slow circle, trying to make her twirl playfully]

I still gotta think about it but its more...in the back of my mind! Like when I'm super tired and after training and stuff it's hard to fly. I betcha you just gotta keep doing it until its so natural that you're thinking about it without thinking-thinking about it!

Hmmm, okay! [ That made sense! ] So I guess I just have to keep practicing it until it gets easier, right?

[ She giggles as she twirls at his urging, tiny wings flapping on her back. ]

It's a lot of fun, though!

Yeah! I'll practice with you too. Flying is a lot of fun. Nimbus can probably help us too if it's not busy with Kairi.

[Goten laughs, twirling her once more before floating beside her]

It'll get a lot easier, then we can race and stuff to get you even better!

I wanna race! That sounds like fun! But Izumo said to make sure it's not anywhere with things we can crash into...

Well....the only thing I've ever crashed into is you cause we're so high up!

[And they didn't even crash. Almost, but it still counts.]

I've never had someone to fly with before, this is so cool, Nanako!

[He really can't stop smiling]

What about birds?

[ She giggles, because she's in an exuberant mood, both from getting to practice her flying and having a friend that can come with her. ]

It is! I'm glad I get to go flying with you now. It's fun! Even if I'm not very good at landing yet...

Mmm depends how high you wanna go! Birds don't go super super high!

[Goten laughs full heartedly. He really is delighted by Nanako.]

It's okay, I bet you'll get better at that too. I'll help you too. You'll be the best flier around!

Well, almost the best flier. [ She grins at him. ] I think that's still you, Goten.

[That makes him blink....then smile brightly. His cheeks even turn a little red at Nanako calling him the best flier.]

Well...for now anyway! But you only just started. If I show you everything I do...then you'll be the best flier too!

[ Nanako giggles at that. ] Okay! We can tie, then! Once I learn how to do it better. But you'll be the best teacher, still.
