Who: Nanako and anyone inclined to be out exploring or who might notice a new mountain looming in the Far Shore.

Where: Nanshe's newly-discovered Temple
What: Nanako has discovered she has god powers after all! Now it's led her to finally discovering she has a temple here and it gives her the perfect place to try out some of the new things she can do.

A; To Find Shelter

[ It's been a little over a week since Nanako had discovered that she did indeed have a god power of her very own. Even if it had taken her awhile to get the hang of it. It was still taking her a while to get the hang of it, but today she's taken a break from practicing in the backyard of Souji's temple to go investigate something for herself.

Because she's felt a pull that's been growing stronger over the past few days, insistent and niggling and new. Since it hadn't faded or gone away, she'd decided this morning to follow it and see what she found.

Which is how she ends up at the base of a mountain not that long a walk away from Souji's temple. A mountain which she's very sure she's never seen before. She thinks? But there's a walled gate around its base that feels vaguely familiar to her, even if she doesn't know why. The gate stands wide open and welcoming, however, so she proceeds inside, heading up a long stone staircase to the shrine she finds at the top, brightly colored with banners waving and surrounded by a hillside full of blooming azalea bushes. The shrine itself is set beside a huge lake full of fat and lazy fish swimming within its depths.

And the more she explores of this place, the more certain she is - she's finally found Nanshe's temple. Her temple. Delighted, she starts poking into every inch of the shrine she can find, exploring all over it and seeing everything hidden within this new place. Eventually, she'll go looking for her brother and Homura, wanting to share with them her newest discovery, but if anyone else happens by in the meantime, she might excitedly show them around as well. ]

B; To Rise

[ The discovery of her very own temple means one thing for certain - it's given her a wide open space to keep practicing her new abilities. And since she now knows how to look for that tiny flicker of power that seems to blossom brighter each time she uses it, it's easy to flit back and forth between normal and the form her god power seems to give her - that of a halo and tiny wings and a bright cheerful glow that surrounds her every time it manifests.

She hasn't figured out yet if her power will allow her to fight evil spirits any better - especially when she doesn't know how to fight in the first place. But there are other uses to this power she's learning about. Like the fact that the tiny feathered wings on her back actually work, and as long as she can keep her focus steady, she can even manage to float for increasingly longer periods of time.

So of course this is what she's practicing, once she finds her own private mountaintop filled with colorful flowers, trees, and banners. Although it's with dubious success at first, she's determined to get better at it.

So, throughout various points of the day - and possibly the next few days - there's a tiny girl with angel wings floating, bobbing, and sometimes zooming around her shrine and occasionally even venturing outside her temple to see how far she can fly and how long she can manage it. Sorry, friends, her control isn't all that great yet... ]

You got it! But you gotta promise you'll show me all your flying tricks, okay?

[He winks at her.

With that Sora looks around and tries to find a good spot. Well! Those big stairs!]

I'll jump off the top stair and glide all the way down to the bottom. Ready?

Yeah! [ She claps her hands in excitement, watching him with wide eyes. ] Be careful, though!

[ If he's falling - with style or not - she hopes he doesn't get hurt. ]

[With that Sora takes a big deep breath in. Which is mostly for show, Sora uses Super Glide all the time.

He peers at the bottom of the stairs so far away and then jumps. As he said he glides in mid air. Not really falling and not really going upwards either.

And he laughs as he starts to zoom his way down the slop at a fast rate.

[ Her eyes go wide at that as she watches him. After a moment, when he picks up speed, she lets her wins lift her into the air and she takes off after him, trying to catch up. ]

Whoa! That's really cool!

[Hearing her behind him Sora slows his decent. Gliding up beside her he grins widely.]

This is awesome!!

[Nyooming around with Nanako!!!]

It's the best! We should go flying more, too! Do you know Goten? He knows how to fly, too! He's really good at it.

Yeah! Goten flies too! And he's got nimbus!

[Sora laughs. They should start a flying club or something. Then again, Sora can't really fly like they do, but he manages!]

[ They should totally make a club! ]

He does! I rode on it before, too. It's really fun!

[Laughing in delight, Sora eventually reaches the bottom of the long set of stairs. He lands with a little bit of a stumble and grins brightly.]

See? Not exactly flying but I can leave that up to you and Goten! You're really lucky, Nanako!

It's close enough! [ Nanako beams as she floats in a circle around his head before carefully - and wobblingly - settles down on the stones before him. ] You're really good too!

[Sora nearly reaches out to help her land but nope she's doing great on her own. Sora practically glows with pride.]

It'll be really helpful if you need to fly away in a pinch. You know, if ayakashi come after you. Have you done anything like that yet?

[He's a bit curious. Has she had to face ayakashi?]

[ She hesitates for a moment before ducking her head, her smile falling a little. ]

There was an ayakashi at a Prayer I went to answer, but I didn't know it. And I didn't have a shinki to help. I couldn't stop it. But I scared it away before it could hurt anyone too bad. That's when I found out I could do this.

[Oh, Nanako... !! He reaches out to put a gentle hand on her head and he smiles.]

That was really brave of you, Nanako. Good for you. [But he is super concerned too.]

You know you can call me or Roxas anytime, right? We can always help!

[ She glances up when he lays his hand on her head, still feeling distressed about the failed prayer. ]

I was with some friends, but. We didn't expect to find an evil spirit there that big. But I'll remember, if I find one again. I know you and Roxas-oniichan are really strong.

[Turn that frown upside down, Nanako! He's still very proud of you!]

That'll just prepare you for next time! You didn't know then, but now you do! Evil spirits can be just as pesky as ayakashi. The important part if that you and your friends made it out safe.

[ She manages a nod, reaching up to tangle fingers in his sleeve. ]

I hope so. I don't want anyone else to get hurt.

I believe in you, Nanako. You care lots about others and that makes you a really great goddess.

[She's a good girl!]
