What: The guy needs some new sunglasses - and probably a new wardrobe. Help?
Where: A random shopping mall on the Near Shore

A) I wear my sunglasses at night...
[ Bandou's main reason for hitting up the mall? He's gone way too long without a pair of sunglasses. Over a month, even! They were smashed to pieces back in the beginning of June when the people of the far shore were enjoying a lovely beach party. At least it was lovely before he got smacked in the face with a volley ball. Where ever that asshole Donut ended up disappearing to, the guy owed Bandou a new pair of shades. And he had every intention of handing the guy a bill if he ran into him again.

But first he's got to find the right pair. So he's stopping at all the kiosks that seem to have some array of sunglasses to browse. The last cart didn't have anything interesting, so he's headed to another when he's suddenly being hounded by a merchant from an entirely different cart. What are they trying to get him to buy anyway? Maybe he's being sold a new phone plan? Maybe he's being unwillingly sprayed with perfume? Or maybe the poor guy's being convinced to get his eyebrows threaded! Whatever it is, help the poor guy out, please! ]

B) A man can't have too many hoodies
[ Whether he got help or not, Bandou's fled into the nearest men's clothing store to get away from those damn persistent merchants. He'll eventually try to sneak back out, but while he's here, he may as well look around. He's been told by a few people that he looks nice without the hat and hoodie on all the time, but hell if he knows what he should be wearing instead. The hoodie is comfortable, and as far as he's concerned, is appropriate for all times of year or special occasions. And yes, he did wear his hoodie under his yukata for Tanabata. Fashion advice would be greatly appreciated. ]

C) Wildcard!
[ You're welcome to latch onto this guy wherever and for whatever reason. Ask him for his opinion on a new outfit. Get some food at the food court. Force him to carry all the bags from your hard day of shopping. Whatever it is, go for it! ]

[ They just had so many pairs on display. He could't resist! ]

[He snickers.]

So, still need to find a new pair of sunglasses?

[chickshades]

Yeah. I obviously didn't get a pair yet.

[ He does a brief glance around, noting a few of the stores. ]

Where's a good place?

[lostinshadows]

Not sure, to be honest. I've never been good at this sort of thing.

[But he does look around, too.]

Wanna check out a few places?

[ He shrugs. May as well, right? And the guy's probably good to keep around just in case someone else latches on to him. ]

[lostinshadows]

[He grins.]

Might as well.

[chickshades]

[ He'll walk along the length of the mall, casually glancing into each of the stores to see if he can spot a glasses case. Finally he stops in front of a department store. They've got a bit of everything, right? ]

Let's check in here.

[lostinshadows]

Just lead the way.

[Lavi's still adjusting to things like malls, so he'll let Bandou lead.]

[chickshades]

[ They're very convenient, Lavi. Also dangerous if you don't have too much money to spend.

In the center of the store is a large display of jewelry, hats, purses and, yay!, sunglasses. Bandou grins as he sees it and eagerly heads over to see the selection. And yes, most of them are "women's" sunglasses. ]

[lostinshadows]

Hey--

[A blink when Bandou just heads over to the selection.

Upon seeing the words, he raises an eyebrow.]

Aren't those 'women's' sunglasses?

[chickshades]

[ He looks up at the sign, then back to the shades. ]

Damnit, why are women's shades so much more awesome?

[ He grabs a rather eccentric pair, flipping them around in his hand before holding them up to look through them. ]

[lostinshadows]

[He laughs.]

Not sure, but I don't think those are your style, anyway.

[chickshades]

No?

[ Hmm. He pulls another off the shelf. ]

What about these?

[ He laughs cause these are definitely not him. ]

[lostinshadows]

I think I might prefer the first pair more.

[chickshades]

Yeah me too.

[ At least until he looks at the price tag and... ]

Almost 67000 yen?? Who the hell would pay that??

[lostinshadows]

People who can afford it.

[He looks over the other sunglasses.]

[chickshades]

[ He clicks his tongue, obviously pissed that other people could afford that. Well, guess he's not getting that pair. ]

What do you think would look go on me?

[lostinshadows]

Well, what kind of style do you usually go with?

[He asks this even as he browses the different styles that they have.

Nothing too fancy; Bandou strikes him as a simple guy, really.]

[chickshades]

Large ones. Black, too.

[ He grabs a couple, trying them on and shaking his head at most of them. ]

Something that won't break easily.

[lostinshadows]

[A thoughtful hum, grabbing one and offering it to him?]

Try this pair.

[chickshades]

[ Bandou takes the offered pair and puts them on with one hand. ]

Well?

[lostinshadows]

Better.

[A grin.]

But what do you think first? You're the one who needs them more.

[chickshades]

[ He scrutinizes himself in the small, provided mirror. ]

I think the frames are a little too thick.

[ You're choice will be the back up if he can't find one he absolutely loves. He grabs a few more, trying them on, thinking, putting them back. Absently, he comments to Lavi. ]

What do you do for sunglasses? Since you got...you know.

[ He moves one hand over his own right eye, indicating he's referring to Lavi's eye patch. ]

[Lavi blinks once, eyebrow raising.]

I don't wear sunglasses because of it.

[So...out of luck there, Bandou.]
