A. I’m falling between the cracks

[After the event that affected the Heavens, Lavi has decided to take it upon himself to distance himself from a few people.

So, people would be able to find Lavi at a park, huddled under a tree. He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to anything in particular, but his usual headband is missing and there’s a silver bird clip currently attached to the collar of his shirt. His eye seems to be focused on a book laid out on his lap, lips moving as he reads what’s on the page.

However, the moment he senses someone coming up to him, the book is slammed shut and he eyes the person almost warily.]

B. The Library Goblins

[Thanks to the pulse or whatever it was, one of the first things Lavi’s done after returning to normal is to inspect the library.

Or rather, inspect the area around it.

He frowns a bit, cupping his chin in thought before he turns to the nearest person.]

Have you seen the goblins? [This is. A very important question since Lavi’s become aware of the goblins the moment they had decided to steal the books back.]

[He's fine with this casual sort of teasing.]

[He'll look Lavi over for a moment... and then pick him up around his middle, putting him in a fireman carry.]

[That earns a startled sound from him before he laughs.]

Alright, alright. You can put me down now.

[fullcowl]

[He lets him down.]

I hope you can rely on me.

[lostinshadows]

[Lavi steadies himself.]

No need to worry about that. You're one of the few I know I can rely on.

As long as you have people to rely on, I'm happy.

[He laughs softly.]

I don't think so. There's a lot of great people out there.

[Lavi hums.]

There are. [A simple agreement.]

[Not for the first time, he misses his classmates. Still, it's better that they're back home.]

By the way, did you meet Hajime?

[A small jerk of surprise.]

But yeah, I met her. That time when Kairi asked us to go meet Orihime with her, that was the first time Hajime and I met.

[He points to his own collar and looks at Lavi's. He knows who that hair clip belongs to.]

I've known her ever since I got here.

[The moment Izuku points out the hair clip, Lavi just rubs the back of his head.

He should've figured that Izuku knew who it belonged to.]

Yeah, she's mentioned how you two are best friends.
