A. I’m falling between the cracks

[After the event that affected the Heavens, Lavi has decided to take it upon himself to distance himself from a few people.

So, people would be able to find Lavi at a park, huddled under a tree. He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to anything in particular, but his usual headband is missing and there’s a silver bird clip currently attached to the collar of his shirt. His eye seems to be focused on a book laid out on his lap, lips moving as he reads what’s on the page.

However, the moment he senses someone coming up to him, the book is slammed shut and he eyes the person almost warily.]

B. The Library Goblins

[Thanks to the pulse or whatever it was, one of the first things Lavi’s done after returning to normal is to inspect the library.

Or rather, inspect the area around it.

He frowns a bit, cupping his chin in thought before he turns to the nearest person.]

Have you seen the goblins? [This is. A very important question since Lavi’s become aware of the goblins the moment they had decided to steal the books back.]

[Hard to avoid your own goddesss, you know, especially if you live in the same place.

So he looks a little amused.]

It shouldn't be so bad. [Yes it is, Lavi.

And with that confirmation, Lavi will teleport them to the front of Hel's temple..]

[He knows, but he still wants to try!

He sighs a little bit at what Lavi said. But they're finally at the temple. Yuto looks around, clearly impressed. This is the first time he's visiting this place.]

Lead the way.

Don't mind so much if you hear wolves howling.

[It happens, but he leads him inside where a large mead hall awaits them.

It's definitely huge for two people, but he and Cardia has managed to work with it so far that it barely bothers him anymore. He looks over to Yuto.]

[Wolves... oh okay.

When he's lead to the hall, Yuto can't help but look around.]

This temple is really amazing... [He whispers eventually, then notices Lavi said something to him.]

...Sure.

[He hears the whisper and he can't help but chuckle.]

Amazing, yeah, but also huge for just two people.

[A curious look at him.]

Or I can give you a brief tour if you want first. We have time.

I guess it is.

[For two people, this place really is too big.]

You can give me a tour later... [He smiles a little.] So why don't we play now?

Alright.

[And heading over to one of the tables to sit at!]

[Yuto follows and then sets the board on the table.]

...This is a bit strange, isn't it?

[He sits down and takes one of the figures.]

I feel like I really played this game in my childhood.

[...Which happened just yesterday.]

It is.

[Sitting down, Lavi picks up a figure and lazily inspects it.

He smiles.]

Kinda makes you feel a little nostalgic.

[Yuto nods in agreement.]

Yeah...

[And he sets the figure down.]

...Let's start the game.

Alright.

[And proceeds to start the game?]

[The game starts and soon Yuto starts smiling lightly.

This really brings back memories. And even though they're not actually childhood memories it still... feels nice.]

[It's definitely nice to be able to play the game like this.

He's not sure why, but the nostalgia really does make Lavi feel a little fond about this whole situation. Compared to how he was as a kid, this was definitely one of the nicer memories that he's happy to have made.]

[When the game ends, Yuto is still smiling fondly as he looks at the board.]

... So how about we play again? Though, maybe not today, but the next time?

[Lavi chuckles softly, nodding.]

I definitely don't mind. I can keep it here for now until next time you wanna play?

[Since...he's not sure if Yuto wants to bring the board game back to Hajime's temple.]

Sure. You were the one who bought it, after all.

[So he can't take it anyway.]

[He'll refrain from mentioning that he bought it for Yuto.]

Alright then. [Guess it's time to clean up the game then?]

[Yuto will help him and then Lavi can give him a tour around the temple.]

[Once the game is cleaned up, Lavi stands up and grins.]

Let's get that tour started then, shall we?

[In the back of his mind, he wonders if Cardia's home.]

Of course.

[Yuto will follow him wherever the other will lead him.]

[Then hope you don't mind the long tour, Yuto!

Lavi pauses a bit when he hears a wolf howl, expression shifting a bit as they enter one of the long hallways. He glances out the window, expecting to see something before he moves on.]
