You know what else I wouldn't mind... getting you a promise ring too. They do that in my world, actually.

[As Forrest repeats the phrase, it's clear he's not entirely familiar with the concept. They didn't have that sort of thing in Nohr. But as she explains, he smiles, cuddling her closer.]

If it's any consolation, I think a lot of the people here are willing to make friends with the others in their same situation. A lot of us shinki find it easier to work with gods who are our friends too. I know I do. And we can be friends too, if you'd like? I may not know where your temple is but I can walk with you until we find it.
