A. [Izuku can be found in the library fairly often, after all, he's volunteered to take over, since there were suddenly far, far fewer of the library goblins than there used to be. Usually, he's near the front entrance, looking through books, scowling a bit and then putting them back.]

Have you seen anything about the history of the Heavens here?

B. [That's usually though. Sometimes he's sitting next to a stack of books and passed out instead. At least he's getting sleep somewhere.]

C. [He doesn't just keep to the Far Shore though. He's the one that goes out and gets groceries for his temple, so he can be found throughout the week considering the merits of branded or unbranded products.

With a lot of coupons. Look, just because they're hard to see doesn't mean he's going to walk out without legitimately paying for those groceries.]

What do you think of the unbranded bread?

D. [If, for whatever reason, you're at a beach. A very particular beach. A beach that seems to be covered in garbage- Izuku is there. Izuku is there and he's moving the garbage around like it's no problem. The garbage that includes carsh, heavy microwaves, refrigerators- he's not fussed.]

I found one about Amaterasu once, but I can't seem to find it again.

[Briefly, he wonders if those hats are okay in this sort of weather, it's starting to get awfully hot.]

About her entire history, but a few years were missing from it.

That seems to be common- I've heard that more than a few books have been censored in that way.

Someone is trying to keep something a secret...

If she looks fifteen now, then something must have happened to her around that time.

At least, I think that's how it works.

We don't know the why behind the grudge though. So it doesn't help very much.

I doubt it's anything good. After all, if the Heavens are trying to keep it a complete secret, and it's serious enough for someone to want to burn her temple down...

[The slide and thunk of another book going into place.]

...Then it must be something that reflects badly on the Heavens in some way.

They really have a grudge against Amaterasu. And I don't think she knows what it is anymore, so we're just as lost as she is about it.

But I don't think grudges are started for no reason. Something must have happened.

...If she doesn't know, then surely her shinki would... or other older gods.

It's just a matter of getting the truth out of them...

[He wonders if a truth spell could get it from them...]

They haven't all been turned into teenagers, that's true. Maybe Suijin or Fuujin know something. But that would require gaining their trust.

Suijin has been fairly direct? But the other ones I don't know much about.

No.... But I'm only a shinki. It's likely that I'd merely be shifted off onto one of hers, wouldn't I...?

She seems pretty willing to talk to Barry? So I think it's going to be okay.
