Who: Izuku and you
When: July 26th on
Where: Various
What: Catchall
A. [Izuku can be found in the library fairly often, after all, he's volunteered to take over, since there were suddenly far, far fewer of the library goblins than there used to be. Usually, he's near the front entrance, looking through books, scowling a bit and then putting them back.]
Have you seen anything about the history of the Heavens here?
B. [That's usually though. Sometimes he's sitting next to a stack of books and passed out instead. At least he's getting sleep somewhere.]
C. [He doesn't just keep to the Far Shore though. He's the one that goes out and gets groceries for his temple, so he can be found throughout the week considering the merits of branded or unbranded products.
With a lot of coupons. Look, just because they're hard to see doesn't mean he's going to walk out without legitimately paying for those groceries.]
What do you think of the unbranded bread?
D. [If, for whatever reason, you're at a beach. A very particular beach. A beach that seems to be covered in garbage- Izuku is there. Izuku is there and he's moving the garbage around like it's no problem. The garbage that includes carsh, heavy microwaves, refrigerators- he's not fussed.]

Lavi, July 26
He's picked out a fighting game, a racing game and a multiplayer RPG.]
What looks good?
no subject
Lavi looks through the games, interested.]
The racing one looks good.
no subject
He'll pick up the racing one and push it into the console before plopping a controller into Lavi's hands.]

She didn't expect Izuku to be able to do too much. Maybe a couple of trash bags worth but it's when he starts moving the heavier things and not dodging them that makes her brow raise.]
Are some kind of weight lifter or something?
[She calls down to him. There's a small hill that stands just slightly higher then the beach and over looks some of it. She's standing there still in her school uniform looking bored. If Izuku does glance over in her direction, there will be a cool bottle of water tossed at his face. Just be grateful she's giving it to you. It's hot out but she isn't doing heavy lifting. She's not crazy to try that in the summer.]
How are you doing that in this heat? You're gonna kill over...
no subject
Oh- uh... no? I just needed the exercise.
... Thank you for the water.
It's fine, I've done something like this before. I promise I'm okay.
no subject
[Hitting him in the face with it wasn't her intention even though that's where her aim was. She can't help but stare. She isn't sorry either.]
Not many people consider picking up fridges as exercise. Most people can't even do that. What are you?
[No Izuku, you're weird.]

[After all, there are still far too many things that they know far too little about, and libraries are a good place to start whenever that's the case.]
[He pauses when he hears someone speak, hand still on the spine of a book on the shelf.]
That's too vague. There's a lot about the history, but what part are you looking for?
no subject
I'm looking for anything about Amaterasu.
... And if this amount of dead shinki and gods has happened in the Heavens before.
no subject
Then the problem definitely isn't going to be finding information, it's going to be narrowing it down to what's relevant.
[He's quiet a moment, scanning the titles on the books' spines.]
...You're looking into the recent deaths?
[It seems a safe guess. And if the kid's willing to share anything he does know, collaborating could put them both closer to putting a stop to it.]

b, probs around the 28th
It's quite late on the 28th that he comes in to prowl the shelves, steps near silent as he moves between aisles. It's not too long before he notices a familiar shape seemingly passed out on one of the desks, and after coming a little closer to establish exactly who it is, he lets out a quiet sigh.
There's a few plain blankets stashed in a corner of the library, whether to lay down for reading areas, protect books from dust, or something else, it's hard to tell. In any case, Shun picks up one with little hesitation and sweeps it over Izuku in one smooth motion. He's done this sort of thing enough times before, but it remains to be seen whether the accompanying swish of air will wake Izuku up.]
no subject
Izuku snuffles a bit and curls a little into himself as the blanket goes over him. It takes a few minutes before he starts to realize something's changed.]
Mmph? [His eyes are slowly opening, but it takes a while to register Shun is there.]
no subject
Once the younger boy actually makes a noise, Shun glances over, expression as flat neutral as ever as he surveys him.]
It's getting a bit late to risk falling asleep alone in public.

[Cardia takes a moment to realize he's addressing the question to her. She usually comes to the library at odd times and often sequesters herself in some out of the way corner so it's rare that anyone talks to her.
It's by coincidence that she happened to be reading a book on that very subject, but combined with the scowl on his face she misunderstands the situation.]
Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Did you need it for something?
[She closes the book and holds it out to him.]

I'm just trying to compile some information.

July 29th
Lavi was usually in the library when he heard the report, immediately going to check what happened. When he stumbles upon Scully's dead, he could have sworn he felt something inside of him just drop at the sight of her body. Feeling his chest get tighter, he reaches for his phone to text Izuku:]
Meet me at the library. Dana Scully is dead.

[As she turns down one aisle, she spies a familiar figure slumped over against a stack of books. She immediately halts in her tracks, and, for a second, images of a headless corpse flash in her mind and spike her heart-rate. She hesitantly draws forward a few steps before quickly ascertaining that his chest was still moving up and down, and the sound of soft snoring becomes more clear. She breathes a sigh of relief, but still approaches slowly so as to not wake the sleeping Izuku right away.]
[She briefly considers whether she even should wake him, but ultimately decides that, if he needs the sleep, there are far better, more comfortable places where he could get it. So, she'll try to wake him by calling his name softly, and, if that doesn't work, then she'll lean down to poke him in the upper arm to try and rouse him.]
Midoriya-san... Midoriya-san... Izuku!

It takes a bit of prodding before he wakes up, blearly opening his eyes and looking confused. This is not his house? Where is he?]

This time, Yukine does a double-take when he looks over at the speaker. He recognizes this guy from the newbie training.]
Uh- you get what you pay for, Aidos-sama. That- [he points at the cheap bread in the god’s hand] kinda sucks. It’s bland and doesn’t toast well. [After pausing for a moment he makes a small gesture with his hand which is holding a scrap of paper.]
I don’t know if you’re around here often, but if you want a recommendation, I can show you a place. I have to buy bread after this anyway.
[His own shopping basket is nearly full of various items, mostly food clearly meant for having somen for dinner tonight.]
no subject
There are some store brand foods that are fine.
I... think there was a new shrine nearby? I usually did my shopping closer to Tokyo than this. [Izuku. Izuku, you can teleport. Why are you like this?]
I'd appreciate the help, thank you.

So it's no surprise that he asked his friend to research with him.]
How good is your Greek?
no subject
[After Lavi's discovered that he's pretty familiar with Greek in general and can understand the language fluently. Speaking might be a different matter.]
You think we'll need to search through Greek text to research more about Aidos?
