Who: Izuku and you
When: July 26th on
Where: Various
What: Catchall
A. [Izuku can be found in the library fairly often, after all, he's volunteered to take over, since there were suddenly far, far fewer of the library goblins than there used to be. Usually, he's near the front entrance, looking through books, scowling a bit and then putting them back.]
Have you seen anything about the history of the Heavens here?
B. [That's usually though. Sometimes he's sitting next to a stack of books and passed out instead. At least he's getting sleep somewhere.]
C. [He doesn't just keep to the Far Shore though. He's the one that goes out and gets groceries for his temple, so he can be found throughout the week considering the merits of branded or unbranded products.
With a lot of coupons. Look, just because they're hard to see doesn't mean he's going to walk out without legitimately paying for those groceries.]
What do you think of the unbranded bread?
D. [If, for whatever reason, you're at a beach. A very particular beach. A beach that seems to be covered in garbage- Izuku is there. Izuku is there and he's moving the garbage around like it's no problem. The garbage that includes carsh, heavy microwaves, refrigerators- he's not fussed.]

You're really everywhere, making those huge posts on the BBS, being at the training, organizing those pamphlets... and that's just the stuff I've seen.
Well, at any rate, I'm glad there's someone like you around. It helps take the pressure off. [He gives a bit of a grateful smile at that.]
The number of shinki has gotten way beyond what Kazuma-san and I can help ourselves, so I'm glad things got sorted the way they are now with that newbie training.

But wow when he hears it all listed out like that-]
... I didn't realize I was doing that much. [But it's hard to realize when he's in the middle of it. All Might would probably say something similar.]
There's a lot of new people arriving every ten days or so. The training is definitely better than when we were all left to figure it all out alone.

[Everyone worked hard and, as best as he could tell, everyone is managing on some level. What more could you ask for from such a weird situation landing in your lap like this?]
no subject
[But shinki got absolutely nothing when they first arrived and trying to rely on a god who might have also just arrived doesn't exactly help anybody.]
It's not like anybody was prepared for people from different worlds coming into theirs.

[Shaking his head, he makes a sudden left into a side street and pauses a moment to make sure the god is following him.]
It's been interesting, and there's been some nice people, but I really hope we can send all of you back where you belong.
Heh- going back to not thinking 'that's so weird' every other minute will be nice.

[Izuku seems to have no problems following Yukine along.]
Yeah, I'm really hoping people at home are okay, even while we're here. [Shouto is dead and he's not sure how or why or if his presence at home would have helped him in the slightest.] I think we'd all be happier if we found ways back.
no subject
Can't deny it. But let's focus on the stuff in front of us for now. [Gods who remember where they came from will be no good to anyone if they get caught up thinking about what's past.
Abruptly Yukine points ahead.]
For now, your need for good bread will be taken care of. [On the corner a little further up the street is a small bakery. Nearly all of the bread can be seen on display through the window, an array that gives the impression of being varied but not beyond the capability of this small bakery to make fresh.
Yukine enters directly into the shop and gives the display a wistful glance and murmurs to himself,] Ahh, they have the basil cheese rolls today...
This is the kind of place that makes stuff based on what ingredients they get, so it's not always the same. Those are really good. [He points at the rolls before walking past to pick up a loaf of bread.]
I got what I came for, anyway.
[Rolls are not on the list, and it's best to follow Daikoku's list unless told otherwise. Or else.]

[But a late enough night and he'll start worrying about alternate universes and why Shouto has to be dead in one. It's stressful and he hates overthinking it. Unfortunately, he's also prone to overthinking anything that could stress him. It's another thing All Might scolded him for.
Izuku picks up a fresh loaf of bread and four of the rolls.
He noticed the way Yukine looked at the rolls, and he figures his whole household would appreciate them as snacks.]
Thank you for this.
[It doesn't take Izuku very long to pay at the register.]
Did you want one of the rolls?
no subject
You’re just sayin’ that because you don’t know how good they are yet. [But not wanting the chance to pass him by he immediately follows up,] But if you’re offering, I won’t say no.
no subject
[He'll hand over one of the buns to Yukine.]
no subject
Thank you.
[Gathering up his bags he nods to the god.]
I guess you won’t have any trouble getting back from here, so I’ll be on my way. See ya ‘round, Aidos-sama. Oh, right- or do you prefer your regular name? [Seemed like most of the new gods did, so might as well ask now. Seeing as he’d not thought to bring it up sooner.]
no subject
You're welcome.
[Plus Yukine helped him out, so it's not like there was no reason to thank him.]
See you around. I prefer "Midoriya" or "Deku" but if Aidos is what you're used to that's okay too.
no subject
When it comes to the new guys, anything goes. But seriously, if you prefer another name, you should say so at the start.
[He gives the guy a flat look. Like, come on. Way back at the first time he called him 'Aidos-sama', he could have said something.
But then, he's obviously the kind of guy is okay with whatever.]
The person calling you the name you don't like will feel stupid once they find out.
no subject
I don't really mind. Since this is your home and all, you should do what makes you feel comfortable when it comes to politeness?
It's kind of like if I went to America. I'd have to call people around my age by their first names, because that's what's polite there.
... At least, that's how I saw it?
no subject
Tch. I wish all of the new guys were as careful as you.
Well, I'll call you Midoriya-sama, then.
no subject
[Or maybe overmuttering? It really depends on who he's talking to.]
That seems like a good compromise. Thank you.
Let me know if you never need help with anything.
no subject
Same to you. Like I said, things seem to be going well with what you did with the newbies, so if you have more ideas like that, feel free to share. [But... not right this minute, obviously. They both have groceries to get home. So he gives a nod and turns to go.]
Until next time, then.
