A. [Izuku can be found in the library fairly often, after all, he's volunteered to take over, since there were suddenly far, far fewer of the library goblins than there used to be. Usually, he's near the front entrance, looking through books, scowling a bit and then putting them back.]

Have you seen anything about the history of the Heavens here?

B. [That's usually though. Sometimes he's sitting next to a stack of books and passed out instead. At least he's getting sleep somewhere.]

C. [He doesn't just keep to the Far Shore though. He's the one that goes out and gets groceries for his temple, so he can be found throughout the week considering the merits of branded or unbranded products.

With a lot of coupons. Look, just because they're hard to see doesn't mean he's going to walk out without legitimately paying for those groceries.]

What do you think of the unbranded bread?

D. [If, for whatever reason, you're at a beach. A very particular beach. A beach that seems to be covered in garbage- Izuku is there. Izuku is there and he's moving the garbage around like it's no problem. The garbage that includes carsh, heavy microwaves, refrigerators- he's not fussed.]

I'm not willing to give up yet. This is the best lead we've gotten so far...

Ken, how strong are you?

[That seems like a completely out of left field question, doesn't it?]

[Ken blinks a bit at the sudden question, but he answers it readily enough despite not having any clue why he's being asked.] Depends on my channel, byon. My strongest one is Kong Channel.

[And with that, he promptly swaps cartridges to demonstrate. And if the wolf characteristics of Wolf Channel were noticeable, this is an even more thorough transformation. It's not unlike watching a teenage boy turn into a very simian version of The Hulk, the fabric of his formerly loose clothes straining to contain the musculature of something very close to a full-grown silverback gorilla.

The change to his face - and voice - is a lot more extreme, too. It's quite a bit deeper when he speaks next.] I can break down stone walls like this, byon. [Which a regular gorilla certainly could not do, but the experiments on Ken were always meant to create an enhanced creature beyond either normal human or animal capabilities.]

[Lavi watches, half-stunned at the transformation.

That's...new.

But then it really clicks a to what Izuku asked and he gives the god a curious glance, just wondering what exactly it is he's aiming for.]

Neither am I. [But it seems like Izuku has a plan, so he'll wait to see how that unfolds before he presents any ideas of his own.

Ken's transformation is...interesting, but Shun's honestly seen weirder here, so his reaction is more along the lines of a raised brow and a sidelong glance at Lavi given his reaction, before he looks back to Ken.]

If we still need to follow the scent, you might not be able to use that one for whatever he's planning.

[And yet it doesn't seem strange at all to Izuku. Powers like that are nearly every day at home, an emitter type quirk...]

I think we need wolf channel for this. How much can you carry in that one? 255 kilograms, anything close to that?

[Not for the first time he wishes his god power didn't come with such strict limitations.]

[Ken gives Izuku a somewhat disbelieving look. He's not the smartest, but he knows the limits of his channels, and he can do some basic calculations.] In this channel I could. In Wolf Channel? That's a lot, byon. [Ken, at roughly 140 pounds soaking wet when not excessively bulked up like he is now, is in fact outweighed exactly four times over by the amount of weight Izuku is proposing - not that Ken's doing the math.] What do you even need carried?

[Because from what Lavi's managing to gather, Ken will have be in a channel that can roughly carry 255 kilograms while still managing to remain mobile enough to catch the scent of their murderer.]

[Izuku is very powerful for looking so slight, but that's more the fault of his preferred style of dress.]

I can share powers between two people. However, my original power can risk serious harm to the user if they aren't strong enough to handle it. It's less about being able to carry something, and more about knowing your limits to see if sharing your scent was a viable option so we could split up and cover more distance.

But it seems like it'll put you in unnecessary danger.

[As soon as Izuku explains, Shun shakes his head a bit - it's a good idea, but it's not worth the risk associated with it.]

Making a judgement about limits just off lifting strength might not be accurate, but now isn't the time to be testing the risk. It's not worth potentially injuring the only person we have who can follow that scent.

[It means they're going to have to spend more time on it, but it's the safer route to take.]

[Ken huffs, bristling a little.] I'm plenty strong no matter what channel I'm in, byon! If I don't have to carry that kinda weight, I don't see what the big deal is...

[In terms of pure physical fitness, Ken might be able to pull it off. (Though, in terms of managing personal restraint...much less likely.) However, whether or not it's worth the gamble is something Izuku will have to decide; Ken's clearly stubbornly prideful enough, or ignorant enough of the consequences, that he'd be willing to try regardless of any risks involved.

If it's a question of wisdom and good judgment as much as it is a question of physical fitness, Izuku would do well to have some reservations on those grounds.]

...but if you're the one who's been teleporting us around, how the hell're we supposed to split up? I'm not a god, byon. [Ken hasn't stopped to ask who in their group is a god and who's a shinki; as far as that goes, he hasn't even really asked for people's names.]

[In a way, it does make sense, but then he glances at Ken, seemingly in thought.

He then looks at Izuku.]

Do you think you can really share Ken's scent among us? [While it's not exactly an option that can't be crossed off, he's still not sure how that would work.

Besides, Ken does provide a good point...]

Izuku and Shun are gods, but even if we split into four or teams of two, there's no telling how that would be effective in the end.

If your body isn't strong enough to take that power, you'll explode. That's the big deal. I don't want to be the reason for somebody's death today.

I'd get his scent alongside my strength, and he'd get my strength with his abilities.

[...Yeah, Shun can see why that would be a problem. Though it only makes him more sure it isn't worth the risk. Some things are, but that's far too big of one for the potential payoff.]

When the only thing we'd get out of it is speeding the search up slightly, that's definitely not worth it. We don't need it to find him, it'd only make it quicker, and we can't even be sure of that much if he heads for one of the airports we check first.

[Ken is watching this verbal tennis match with a cocked head, but finally he huffs.] Well, whatever we're doing, we should hurry up, byon. If we're not doing the power swap thing, what next?

[A soft hum escapes from him.

It's a lot of risks to take, but it doesn't really interest the longer they go without a proper solution. Instead, he just rubs the back of his neck as he looks around the airport once more, head tilted to the side as he tries to come up with something before he looks over at the board displaying arrival and departure times.]

[He looks up and scans the departures.]

So... look for a flight? There's a lot of different ways he could go. Just about any flight will get him out of the country.

[Shun looks up at the board as well, considering the screens.]

He'd want something immediate - hanging around here would only increase the risk of capture. The question is when he's likely to arrive, because it's going to be hard to narrow anything down before we know that.

[And on that note, he turns to look at Izuku.] That train station we were at before. Does the timetable list any times for trains to the airport around when we got there?

[Ken doesn't have much to add to this discussion; it's all coordination that's largely over his head. This is the kind of information gathering and reasoning that he'd leave to Chikusa, if the other boy were here.]

I dunno what you guys are gonna do, and what you're talking about sounds boring, byon... [He absently scratches behind an ear.] But the four-eyed kappa could probably help.

[Lavi really isn't familiar with anything modern, so while he has one ear listening to the gods discussing, he seems to have at least reached the same conclusion as Ken.]

If we do end up going somewhere else to get him, might be time to bring Chikusa here so he can pitch in.

[And have him do some of the work, too.]

[Izuku is very comfortable with modern tech, but he's also not well versed in hacking into it.]

Alright. Kurosaki, can you get him? We'll stay here.

[He's pretty sure Chikusa asked for that.]

[Well, it was going to happen before long. Shun just sighs quietly.]

Fine. I'll be back in a minute.

[He disappears from in front of them with no further ado, appearing a little to the left of the library door so he doesn't accidentally teleport on top of someone on the path. Once there, he goes around the side to the scene of the murder to find Chikusa and drag him back with him by whatever body part happens to be most convenient.]

[....Which is how Chikusa ends up in an airport, his arm in Shun's grip and a backpack still partially unzipped in his other hand.]

...I barely managed to get everything back in it....

[Yes, this low level amount of complaining is required as he looks around.]

You're too slow, four-eyed kappa. [Ken immediately moves closer to Chikusa, distinctly more at ease now that his partner's on the scene.

He glances up at the taller boy.] We dunno what airport he might've gone to; we might be ahead of him. I don't smell him at this one, though. [He rubs his nose absentmindedly.] We're trying to figure out where he's heading, byon.

And we'd figured it'd be good to have you help us out this time.

[...But really, Shun? You had to bring Chikusa back like that?]
