Who: The Kingdom Hearts cast (+ their shinki, if they so choose)
Where: Selene's Temple
When: March 29, late afternoon to evening, and onto March 30
What: A sleepover!
Warnings: None, and there probably won't be any. Will update if necessary.
[ Axel, Sora, the Riku Replica, Ventus, and both Roxases--they've all been notified by text that Naminé's hosting a sleepover. (Riku, she'd just told herself.) It had been Sora's idea, but Naminé liked it well enough. She's actually not sure what a sleepover entails, but she knows lots of snacks are involved.
Which is why there's a huge variety lain out in the main room of Naminé's temple. There are tons of pillows and blankets, too, enough to make pillow forts--but someone would have to suggest the idea for Naminé to even consider it. There are movies, too, but maybe someone should bring their own, if they have any...
In any case, Naminé's excited (if somewhat nervous, funnily enough) to get the night started. ]
(( treat this like a mingle log, guys! go crazy, tbh. ))

[He just wanted plain blue to start out with. The plaid was Axel's idea.
At least it adds a little pattern! Plus, Axel likes plaid.]
So... you really don't like him, huh.
no subject
[Roxas snags the ribbon from Axel, wrapping it around his wrist and tying it off. He stay quiet for a while before turning to the red head.]
He told me I wasn't supposed to be here, and kept saying that over and over again. You don't tell someone that when you just met them! I know he's supposed to be some data copy of me... but I still don't like him...
[Plus, it feels like his bff likes the other Roxas more already.]
no subject
... Gods don't die, right? You're just dragged in here?
[Axel eyes Roxas a little nervously. It's kind of... upsetting to think he might be dead, too. And Sora, and Pippa, and everyone else. Sure, being dead doesn't mean a whole lot when they're out here looking and feeling just fine, but that doesn't make it any less weird.]
no subject
No. I've died before, but that was over half a year ago. Pretty alive right now. Still trying to figure out why I didn't become a shinki. Why a goddess? How do they pick them?
no subject
[Axel sounds uncertainly concerned. If he came back before he got here, though, maybe he's fine? How does that even work? Roxas seems way too young to wind up dead.]
... I don't know how they pick us. Who knows what I used to be like, anyway?
no subject
[They didn't talk to each other for a while, and Roxas almost left the room.]
I... I can't tell you that. But I think you'll figure it out.
no subject
[Are Sora and Roxas friends? Axel's not sure. He hasn't really seen them talk. They kind of look similar, though, like they could be siblings.
It could just be the big blue eyes.
He just nods, at Roxas's comment about his past. He'll figure out who he is now, anyway. That's all that matters anymore.]
no subject
[It's a lot more complicated than that. It might take a while to explain it fully, and it'd be confusing since you've got no memories, Axel. So... let's just not go down that road just yet.]
no subject
[Axel scowls in instant sympathy. What an asshole move! If you're gonna send someone on a dangerous mission, you at least tell them, so they can stick to the shadows and bring the big guns.]
Wow. Okay, so how'd you get back after that? Did you just show up here?
[He doesn't exactly know if gods come in dead the way shinki do, but either way, tehy should remember what happened, right?]
no subject
[Someone was put through a literal grinder. The Witch considered it a on the job risk, but why tell her workers that?]
No. The Witch brought us back. It was last June. When I left it was April 20th, and I paid off my debt... But it's March here... So I either went back in time or this is a different timeline.
[World hopping is complicated.]
no subject
[Isn't that an easier explanation? Going back in time, that's just weird. Forgetting some time, well. Axel's forgotten his whole life. Even a god could've lost a couple of months.]
no subject
[No. That's not okay.]
I'll just say I went back in time. I don't wanna be an adult right now!
no subject
[Yeah, come on, Roxas, he's obviously at least five or six years older. After a few seconds of pretend offense, he grins wickedly.]
You know, other than that you might still have a chance to grow a bit if you're younger.
no subject
[...... yeah, this is awkward. He hasn't grown an inch since he's been created... that he knows of.]
I think I'm done growing, even with how young I am.
[He's going on three years old! Telling people he's 16 going on 17 is easier.]
no subject
You sure? Too bad.
... Anyway, Roxas, you're a god. Is it seriously that much more responsibility being grown up?
no subject
[Don't call him short.]
Well, grown ups gotta pay taxes, get married, have kids, get a home and jobs, go into debt, and can't have fun anymore.
[Counting these all off on his fingers.] At least that's how the adults back in Koriko talked...
no subject
[He doesn't know about marriage, but he's pretty sure gods are tax-free.]
no subject
[Who needs responsibility when you're an all mighty being?
Wait, is this conversation getting off track... who knows.]
no subject
[Axel waves one hand in a grand, vague gesture.]
So, like... you get to do whatever. Forever. Kind of a nice gig if you ask me.
no subject
I don't think I'd wanna do it forever.
no subject
[Axel sighs, straightening up and crossing his arms.]
I guess I wouldn't mind it, but what do I know? I can't remember what I used to do.
[And being his own boss doesn't sound so bad. Sure, Pippa's okay, and so's Ayumu, but he's still jumping when someone else says boo. There's not a lot of time to just kick back and relax.
Maybe it'll be better once he settles in.]
no subject
... No, I don't think you'd like being a god. There's... a lot more to it than just being a boss to someone... But I don't really want to talk about it... It's complicated.
no subject
[He shrugs, and reaches up to scratch the back of his neck absently.]
Sure, my goddess is nice, but I've still got to do what she says.
no subject
I don't think I want to order my shinki around. He's nice, and he's really happy that I can cook.
no subject
[So Roxas can cook, huh. Axel puts him down on the mental list of people to bother if his swiping food strategy ever really starts to fall through, and grins.]
Who's your shinki, anyway?
