A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

He raises an eyebrow.]

[ Shizuo, you wouldn't remember their name. This isn't even just a case of not knowing them, you won't retain the information. Probably.

And... Ah, Izumo has a point. To which he just rolls a shoulder. ]

Well, I guess being a good cook also attracts them to you.

[ Yata promptly picks up the tumbler and drowns the alcohol in one large gulp.

And then makes a face when it burns all the way down. ]

Her name is Hajime. She has quite a bubbly personality.

[He laughs.]

I think that just really attracts Goten, though.

...You were supposed to savor the drink.

[He sounds almost exasperated.]

Should've just given you shots instead.

[ Yata just blinks at him. ]

It wasn't a shot?

[ He just thought it was a really big one. ]

What's the difference?

... How does someone I don't know have pictures of me?

[ Because you're out enough, Shizuo? It's not like you're in your temple all of the time. Well, you have been lately, but that's called extenuating circumstances.

But it's fine, he won't go on how there's something that made you bait for ghost kids. Shizuo has no idea what else it could be, anyway. ]

Sure... Ah, everything for upstairs has arrived at this point, yeah? If any of it was left in the back room, I'll get it up now.

[ Given that he's been hiding away for a while, so he's pretty behind on the whole construction front. ]

Shots are mostly pure liquor. What I gave you was a mixed drink.

[Izumo places a shot glass in front of Yata and pours some Vodka in it.]

It'll still burn, but the effects hit quicker.

If you're out and about, she's gonna take pictures of you.

[So, just a fair warning, really.

He gives a nod.]

Yeah, there's still some left in the back room.

[bartenderizing]

Huh...

[ The warning is noted, and he's notably not looked too close at the photos on the wall. A little afraid of what they were of, even though Izumo wouldn't put any 'bad' or humiliating photos for everyone to see. ]

Then I'll grab that. The paperwork from the inspections went through too, yeah?

[ He downs that one, too. ]

Ugh, that burns even worse.

[ There are so many strange inventions in this world and she follows Izumo in fascination, head turning so she can take in everything they pass. ]

Is he a bad person or something?

[You got to give him more to go on then that, Izumo. He frowns a little, squeezing Izumo's hand gently.]

[Shizuo, what kind of person do you think he is to do that?]

When we're finished with the second floor, Goten wants to start decorating it with both of us.

It's Vodka. It's not supposed to go down easy.

[toremainbehind]

It is. Definitely don't have to worry about Mikoto possibly blowing it up, at least.

[toremainbehind]

That's right.

[He takes her inside. There's a lot of people milling about, which honestly isn't surprising.

However, he leads her to the elevator and presses the button going up.]

No. He's a good person if only a bit reckless.

[His smile softens.]

I just didn't want to remember his death is all.

[sonofson]

So....he's a shinki?

[toremainbehind]

Nope, he's here as a god. You actually know him, too, Goten.

[sonofson]

.....Mikoto?

[Goten squints up at him]

But if you know how he dies, you can probably stop it then, right? Or he's alive here if he's a god. Don't worry Izumo.

Ahuh!

[She shuffles through some pictures before coming to one of Davesprite swatting at what looks like a jumbled floating rubix cube.]

That's Messy. An alien from my home. It just poofed and appeared one day.

[She beams at him]

I've been here for a super long while so I wanted to take as many as I could. Lots of people disappear so this is one way to keep them around sorta kinda.

It's not Mikoto.

[There's a pause before he chuckles.]

And no, I can't, Goten. Things usually happen for a reason and seeing that person here - well, he's already dead. Even if he's here as a god, there's no telling what will happen if he ends up leaving.

[sonofson]

Mmmm wouldn't he go back to being dead if he leaves? Sorta like you and me?

[Goten just blinks up at him. Izumo's god friend isn't much different then a shinki then. At least, thats what Goten has heard happens when you leave. There's a bunch of theories. He frowns a little.

I wish there was a way to keep people here.
