A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

[He's not trying to be cool. He's very influenced by two special people (technically three even now).

Fortunately for you, I don't really go around spouting things like that. Not like I try to make it a habit anyhow.

[Never compare yourself to Izumo. Never.]

[ Yeah, well he has no idea who some of those people are, but they sound very cheesy. ]

You know, you say that but I get the feeling people would think otherwise.

[ At least on the 'say things that sound really cool and collected' front. Maybe not those kinds of words exactly.

Yet when he takes the moment to drink more of the smoothie, it's enough for his energy to shift down, or out, or something along those lines. While he still hadn't found his footing, and still didn't get his 'normal' self back, Shizuo was trying. ]

A lot of those final things with the windows, door frames and moldings are done. It looks like the stuff for the floor set nicely. So I'm gonna make sure nothing warps or goes weird, then finish installing the doors and cabinets tomorrow or something. It'll depend on how much energy I have.

[ You'd have more if you ate the amount you usually did, Shizuo. ]

That's fine. Just take your time with it.

[Especially since Izumo might be aware of just how much you've actually been eating recently.]

There isn't any need to push yourself, anyway. Have you even managed to regain your usual appetite at all?

[ It's around an exact normal portion of food, almost the right amount of times a day. Which ends up being about a third of the amount he normally could consume. At the very least, he's pushing himself enough for basic self-care. Shizuo's just not accounting for the fact that he obviously requires a higher caloric intake compared to normal people, given how thin he normally was in the first place. ]

Not really, but it's not like I'm skipping out on meals or anything like that. I just don't have the taste for it.

[ Or milk so much these days. If this keeps up for too long, there might actually be a first instance of spoilage. ]

[Then yes, definitely noticed that Shizuo isn't eating as much as he usually would. The fact he's not really drinking milk either is nearly enough to cause some alarms to go off in Izumo's mind.]

You're not skipping out on meals, but you might not be getting enough energy since you're still not eating as much.

[He can only hope it doesn't last for too long.]

Yeah, well it can't be helped. Like I said- no taste.

[ Turns out that Shizuo's the type of person that, when he's disturbed and trying to figure something out on a lot more serious level (and maybe punishing himself on some level, in all honesty.) Though it's hard to take that as the reason, not just because he isn't saying it, but he's waving his hand to brush off the 'no taste' comment. ]

I just have to work around it.

[Well, Izumo won't push.

In any case, you're free to stay around and continue working if you'd like. I'll just be finishing up doing things in the back.

It's fine. Like I said, the stuff has to set at this point anyway.

[ It lined up pretty well with tiring himself out. Not that he should be getting so tired out in the first place, but whatever. ]

Paperwork things, or supplier things?
