A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

I do not tell this very much given where we are and how little most seem to care. Also personally I feel that it is not my place to. However, you are the first to ask other than Leo.

That's very impressive, Aymeric. If the Heavens had a proper government system, I'd say you'd do a good job of running the Heavens itself.

I appreciate the compliment but I fear that those who have called this realm home before us may not take so kindly to a stranger handling their affairs.

True, but it's an interesting thought to have.

Aye, but you may not think so as much when I say once the parliament was established, I wanted to step down as ruler. Twas only temporary and I only wished to give that power to the people; it was because I was elected without my knowledge nor would the High Houses take no for an answer.

It was flattering given that before, some were leery about the reform from the Church. I suppose that is the difference between Ishgard and this realm.

From the way it sounds, you won't hesitate to take charge if need be, but you also don't want to remain in charge for very long either. Either way, that's quite an accomplishment, Aymeric.

[Goten's definitely found himself a good god.]

I suppose being brought here is almost like having a certain burden off your shoulders.

It is but lately I have found myself a bit...lost. I do not mind the free time that I have acquired given that I would sleep in my office but prayers can go only so far. But I know not where to start.

Hmm, I have been looking more into cooking since Goten became my partner. While I have done it for my soldiers on occasion, I had realized that even as a shinki, he needed something other than the pre-made food on the Near Shore.

That and I cannot understand some of them such as frozen pebbles they call 'chicken nuggets'. Tis strange. But I do seem to find myself enjoying the aspect of cooking itself.

He can't help but laugh softly. Somehow, he feels as if the concept of frozen foods in general might confuse Aymeric, but chicken nuggets definitely takes the cake.]

Cooking can be relaxing, yes, especially when you have to feed an endless pit that is Goten's stomach. [Honestly, Izumo's run out of so much food because of the child.] What do you think about gardening?

A lot of the tomes and books I find involving cooking are mostly for larger portions; I am grateful for that bookshop in Norway that had the style of cooking that I am used to.

Hmm, I have not thought about gardening but there is room on the grounds for it. Hopefully the hawks have no love for vegetables and fruit.

If you want to learn more recipes, I do have a few that you can borrow or look into.

Hopefully, but it'd be good. You'd be able to grow your own herbs and vegetables without having to go out and buy them all the time.
