A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

[A grin.]

After all, that's what friends do.

[sonofson]

[The sight of Izumo's grin makes Goten's grow as he nods eagerly and holds out his fist. Yata had showed him it before.]

Yeah! There's nothing we can't do. I'll do my best too, Izumo!

[Laughing, he bumps his fist against Goten's.]

Good to hear.

[sonofson]

[See? This is why Izumo is his best friend. It doesn't how old he is and no one can convince Goten otherwise.]

What about you? I told you what I was doing.

[toremainbehind]

Well, I was just finishing some stuff here. With all the hauntings lately, it's been getting a bit annoying.

[sonofson]

I bet everything will go back to normal soon. It can't stay haunted forever. Maybe you just gotta make friends with the ghost. You're a good friend so they'd be lucky to get you as a friend to! Do you need help with anything?

[toremainbehind]

[....A smirk.]

Maybe. I think I might have a better job just scaring them off myself.

[sonofson]

...But you're not scary. Unless they're scared of fire.

[He sometimes forgets how scary Izumo can be because he sees the happier side of the older shinki more. Of course it only takes a certain tone to get Goten's attention. But 'scary' isn't the first word that comes to mind when he thinks of Izumo.]

Apparently they don't like my smiles.

[And that's hilarious.]

[sonofson]

[Goten has seen Izumo smile a lot before, they're not scary unless something suddenly changed in the last...two seconds....]

Izumo, can you smile for me? I wanna see!

[toremainbehind]

[The only reason for that is because Izumo never has any reason to give Goten that particular smile.

Shizuo's seen it. Most of HOMRA has seen it and has learned to dread it. Even a few people who's seen that smile knows better than to push it.

But he looks a bit amused as he gives Goten a smile. See? Nothing scary about it.]

[sonofson]

[Goten stares at him for a moment, not seeing anything scary at all. He floats up just high enough to reach out and touch Izumo's face with both hands. He pats his cheeks before giving them a gentle tug and letting go and laughing.]

Nope! You're not scary at all, Izumo!

[toremainbehind]

I hope you won't ever find me scary.

[That'd be bad.]

[sonofson]

You're my best friend and one of the nicest people ever. There's no way that'd happen. It'd be like you thinking I'm scary.

[Goten just smiles more.]

[toremainbehind]

...Goten, I don't think anyone would ever find you scary.

[sonofson]

I could be scary if wanted to!

[No, he really can't]

I donno why the ghost find you scary but I guess if it keeps them away it works. If I ever find a scary ghost i'm coming to you.

I don't think so.

Just make sure it isn't possessing anything.

[sonofson]

Okay, okay! You should take up ghost busting! I think I heard something about that on TV before! Izumo! I bet you'd be good at it. Maybe Shizuo could help to.

[The idea has Goten doing circles in the air around Izumo, grinning]

[Laughs.]

I'm not sure how successful Shizuo would be trying to 'bust' some ghosts, Goten. He might just kick something into a purified fire or something.

[sonofson]

Wouldn't that work though? That's just how Shizuo is. He does it the shizuo way. [Grin! he really does love Shizuo, honest]

That he does. But I'd rather not have any damaged property.

[sonofson]

Can't you just replace it though?

[toremainbehind]

It still costs money, Goten. That's not exactly easy to come by, especially finding the right equipment.

[sonofson]

Don't you make a lot of money doing bar stuff though?

[toremainbehind]

[A nod.]

But certain equipment can cost a lot, so I'd rather not damage any of them.
