August Days
Who: Aymeric and CR (Prompt 1) and OPEN
When: August 14-20 ICly, rest of August oocly
Where: Forseti's Temple, The Far Shore, Near Shore, mainly Tokyo
What: Why flowers are bad, GODDAMN CAT, and an Ishgardian attempts to tourist in one of the largest cities in Japan
1. Red Flowers (Major Spoilers for Heavensward) *Closed to CR only*
[It was unusual for such flowers to spring out of Forseti's temple grounds given that the occupant was not even a novice when it came to gardening. The hawks did not know what to make of them so they stayed on the trees and roof, keeping watch if they did more than sprout. The owner had never seen them in his homeland so like most who were curious, Aymeric wanted to get a closer look at the ones within the outside cracks of his main walkway.]
Peculiar flowers...why are they here? Mayhap due to the recent celebration?
[He kneels down to get a better look but he freezes. He swears he just heard a voice just now...and something familiar about it.]
2. That Darn Cat! (Open)
[Ever seen a old white fluff cat wandering around the Far Shore for some odd reason? Did he bite or claw you when you tried to pet him and you're not a child? Did you catch him fighting another cat and attempted to break it apart? Or maybe he was playing with some shiny toy? Or maybe you just saw him and decided to follow the crazy beast back to his lair.
Either way, the cat has an owner and if you see him, you may want to explain what happened.]
3. An Ishgardian in Tokyo (Open)
...what is a cosplayer?
[The one time Aymeric decides to venture somewhere not in Europe or Heligoland, someone decides to ask him that due to his pointy ears. All he wants to do is see what the big deal is about Tokyo and why this Tower was a good thing. But he thought that no one would notice him in a crowd...despite being 6'5. Hells, he's not even wearing his armor! Too hot for it.
That just means that he has to go to default for now; Near Shore residents may not be able to see him but Far Shore folks can.]

Toushirou holds back a grimace upon hearing that. It's bad if the man before him even has to question Goten's trust considering how much the man's shinki gushes about him.]
It's possible that Goten's forgotten about it. [Thinking it might not have been that big of a deal.] Considering how much he gushes about you, it's not a matter of trust.

That might be the truth but being named by another deems importance. I never mind if Goten chooses to help more than myself but if something were to happen, it would not just affect me but yourself as well. Twould be dangerous if we knew not the risks.

[And he's pulling out his phone and calling the boy. But as he tries that, no answer from Goten's end. Ah, well he's gonna try doing it the shinki way by calling his name...]

Go ahead and revert back, this is the only other way I know of contacting you since I could not reach you on your phone. But there is something we need to discuss.
[And he will wait until he does so because he's polite like that. Even his tone is polite as he speaks but there's authority behind it.]
I was told by your friend here about something that happened recently...that came to naming you, correct?

This kind of matter is not so easy to forget; tis rather dangerous had I remained in the dark and not have known. While I do not mind you fighting alongside and helping others, being named to more than one god also includes risks. If something were to happen to you, it would not be just myself that feels it but him as well.

It only has him pinching the bridge of his nose instead before his arm falls back down to his side.]
As he said. You have to remember to tell people [Mainly Aymeric] when something big happens. Otherwise, they’re going to worry and it’ll be dangerous for everyone included.

[Goten understands he was wrong for forgetting to tell Aymeric about the name but as for the rest it just sounds like the two gods are worrying too much. Goten has only come across one person that could ever really hurt him and that person is someone he hasn't seen in a long while. Which is good.
Everything else, even ayakashi aren't that scary. Both Aymeric and Hitsugaya are super strong and Goten is strong on his own. He's been doing his best to become a strong shinki with borderlines and spells...]
I promise you guys don't have to worry...?
[There is the faintest ping of guilt that the pair can probably feel from Goten as he ducks his head a bit]

[And he can feel that guilt, wincing slightly and squeezing his left hand. But he still looks at Goten.]
And if I am honest, I rather not see you be harmed most of all. Just as you felt sad when your previous partners left, I would be as well if something bad were to happen to you.

[He doesn't seem to react to the guilt that he feels from Goten. But now it does feel like he's intruding on something here.

People will always worry about you. You can't do anything to prevent that, so just make sure to tell us if something big does happen. Immediately after it happens would be good. [That way he won't forget as easily. Hopefully.]

[Goten just frowns, ducking his head more. But his fist do clench a bit. He didn't mean to make Aymeric worry. Anyone worry. But at the mention of previous partners Goten can't really argue]
I'll do better about talking about stuff that happens...but I'm more worried about you guys leaving more then me.
[The last part is mumbled as he lowers his gaze. He doesn't want to lose another god. Especially Aymeric who is practically like a dad to him at this point and Hitsugaya who he's grown attached too.]

No one knows what will happen to them for certain; all we can do is prepare and live as much as we can. And we will always worry because that is one way of expressing how we care.
[And he cannot promise Goten that he will never leave because there's no way to prevent it. All he can do is to be there for him during the time he is here.]
