[A. August 17th - Afternoon]

[After his fight with Lux and talk with Allen, anyone who would have tried to reach Lavi will discover radio silence on his end. He left a note to Cardia explaining he’d be out all day. He wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone right now, not after the parting words Lux had left him with.

Avoiding everyone seemed to be the best option right now, even if he would argue instead that he was just grabbing some fresh air.

It’s why he’s chosen to walk his temple’s latest addition around the Far Shore instead.

”Someone like you should have never been given a name to begin with!”

His jaw clenches at the memory of it, but it was a mistake to take his eye off the dog since Sisi runs off and Lavi’s quick to run after it.]

Sisi, wait!

[B. I Lost You Again]

[Sometime, at some point during the month, people might find Lavi sitting at an area where Allen’s temple used to be. He has a knee drawn up to his chest, a hand covering his face as if he’s trying hard to ignore the sudden pang of loneliness that hits him. Fortunately, Sisi seems to be his company today, too, sitting beside Lavi and has his head rested on Lavi’s other leg.

The redhead gently gives him a scratch, though he looks distracted.]

Damn it, Allen.

[Sisi whimpers a bit as Lavi retracts his hand to mess with a pair of white gloves that he found - the same kind of gloves he’s seen Allen wear before.

He grits his teeth, the other hand moving away from his face and he slams a fist onto the ground.]

Damn it.

[C. He’s an Exorcist Once More]

[Somewhere in a clearing, there’s Lavi holding what appears to be a hammer that might look a little too heavy all things considering.

He has his eye closed, the head of the hammer pointed upwards as giant seals appear around him, glowing brightly. Gritting his teeth, his eye opens as one of the seals stops and glows a bright red.]

Hi Ban: Gouka Kaijin!

[Slamming the hammer down with the seal stamped onto it, a torrent of flames erupt, taking on the form of a snake that surrounds Lavi briefly before shooting upwards into the sky and disappearing in bits of ashes.]

I see... though it doesn't seem like it bothers him all that much. I have a... friend... with the same situation.

[ Glancing back at the dog to the man with him. ]

So his name is Sisi...? You are...?

A friend?

[Lavi blinks a bit.]

The name's Lavi.

The god who took me in. He came to this world missing an arm and I believe something like what Sisi has would help him greatly--

[ Pause of realization. ]

Lavi. I believe we've spoken previously about the murders.

[ There's the smallest smile back at him. ]

Kuroyukihime. Hibiki had been kind enough to point me in your direction.

Ah, so you're Kuroyukihime.

[He reels back a bit.]

Hibiki seems to enjoy pointing me out to other people about the investigation.

[As if that's not annoying already.]

[ There's a nod back at her name. ]

I apologize if it came suddenly but I believe it could be due to her unable to speak of the incident. Regardless...

[ Have a polite bow from her. ]

Hey, it's no problem.

[Really, it isn't.]

Since you seemed so determined to know about it, I had no issue sharing the information with you.

I did it for his sake... the last victim before I contacted you. He was a dear friend of mine.

[ Well... more than just a friend. ]

I'd told the Baron everything you told me. Hopefully that brings us closer to finding the culprit.

[ And the smallest smile. ]

But I apologize.. I didn't mean to bring this up suddenly.

It's no problem.

[He waves a hand dismissively.]

I get it. The culprit murdered one of my friends, too.

[Not 'friend', per se, but someone Lavi still liked enough.]

I'm sorry.

[ A breath as she glances ahead. ]

Though I can't help but wonder if those who were killed could come back--

[ But she shakes her head. No sense in being that much of a downer. ]

But... what were you doing out here, at any rate? Were you walking Sisi?

[He studies her for a bit.

He was still looking into the whole "killed and being brought back" situation since it seems that there are several factors playing a part here, but that's not for now.

He supposes he talk about it with Izuku later.]

I was. He's been cooped up in the temple for a bit, so some exercise would do him some good.

[papillonprincess]

[ Sure it's happened before but it's wishful thinking at this point.

But hey, better thing to talk about now. No sense dragging everyone down, right? ]

I suppose that goes for the two of us. Were you going anywhere in particular?

Not at all. What about you?

[Sisi sniffs her bag curiously. There's food. He wants the food.]

[papillonprincess]

[ Oh! Goodness no. This is lunch.

So... she's just going to hold the bag out of the poor pupper's reach. ]

I'd offered to pick up lunch on my way back to the baron's. Though I was on my way until Sisi decided to say hello.

Sorry about him.

[Sisi whines almost pitifully. Maybe that'll make her give up some food?]

He can be a bit of a handful.

[papillonprincess]

He's a dog... it's simply in his nature.

[ And she will reach over, ruffling the area between the little dog's ears. ]

I'm not sure there's anything here you'd want, Sisi... though... [ And looking up at Lavi. ] Would giving him a biscuit be alright?

[Lavi peers down at Sisi, making a face at him.

He sighs and gives her a nod.]

A biscuit should be fine.
