[A. August 17th - Afternoon]

[After his fight with Lux and talk with Allen, anyone who would have tried to reach Lavi will discover radio silence on his end. He left a note to Cardia explaining he’d be out all day. He wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone right now, not after the parting words Lux had left him with.

Avoiding everyone seemed to be the best option right now, even if he would argue instead that he was just grabbing some fresh air.

It’s why he’s chosen to walk his temple’s latest addition around the Far Shore instead.

”Someone like you should have never been given a name to begin with!”

His jaw clenches at the memory of it, but it was a mistake to take his eye off the dog since Sisi runs off and Lavi’s quick to run after it.]

Sisi, wait!

[B. I Lost You Again]

[Sometime, at some point during the month, people might find Lavi sitting at an area where Allen’s temple used to be. He has a knee drawn up to his chest, a hand covering his face as if he’s trying hard to ignore the sudden pang of loneliness that hits him. Fortunately, Sisi seems to be his company today, too, sitting beside Lavi and has his head rested on Lavi’s other leg.

The redhead gently gives him a scratch, though he looks distracted.]

Damn it, Allen.

[Sisi whimpers a bit as Lavi retracts his hand to mess with a pair of white gloves that he found - the same kind of gloves he’s seen Allen wear before.

He grits his teeth, the other hand moving away from his face and he slams a fist onto the ground.]

Damn it.

[C. He’s an Exorcist Once More]

[Somewhere in a clearing, there’s Lavi holding what appears to be a hammer that might look a little too heavy all things considering.

He has his eye closed, the head of the hammer pointed upwards as giant seals appear around him, glowing brightly. Gritting his teeth, his eye opens as one of the seals stops and glows a bright red.]

Hi Ban: Gouka Kaijin!

[Slamming the hammer down with the seal stamped onto it, a torrent of flames erupt, taking on the form of a snake that surrounds Lavi briefly before shooting upwards into the sky and disappearing in bits of ashes.]

[She holds it out, expectantly.]

It's about having fun. There is no good or bad. If you don't wanna play this, we can go back to twenty questions again. I donno if you were good at that game either...

[She's teasing]

But he does try it out. It feels weird touching his own thread, but he loops his fingers around it and tries to do....something. It fails spectacularly.]

[It's okay, it's what she's here for. Laughing, she moves a bit, moving her fingers around his so the tread can wrap around his in a certain way. As she goes, she explains roughly what she's doing. Ta-Da, now Lavi is holding a rabbit out of thread! Of course she does keep a gentle hold on the end of it because otherwise the thread becomes intangible to the shinki]

See? It's not so hard. You can also do a running dog and stuff like that.

I think I'll need to get used to actually being able to do the rabbit first.

[But now that he got a better understanding of it, it doesn't seem so hard.]

It's all about where to put your fingers and pull! Then the thread does all the rest. Just be gentle! I donno what happens if I hurt or pull too much on a life thread.

[She's never tested it out and doesn't really want too, much less on Lavi]

[Lavi immediately grimaces.]

...Don't think it'd be good to find that out. For all we know, you might end up causing some pretty bad damage to the poor soul.

Maybe....but that's why you just gotta be careful. I know it might feel a little weird. Someone said it was....what was it, what was it...hmm....

[She hums thoughtfully before snapping to it]

Like someone walking over a grave or feeling something deep inside. I donno. I can't see my own so.

[She smiles, not seeming worried in the slightest.]

The idea of walking over a grave isn't pleasant either.

[A blink and he glances at her.]

You can't see your own thread?

Mmmm I don't think it would be so bad.

[She lets go of the thread, even though it's still tangled around Lavi's fingers it slowly fades from sight and it's presence is completely gone like it was never there in the first place]

Nope. I donno why, I'm right here and alive but I can't see or touch my own thread. Weird, huh? Just everyone else!

You never know what can decide to come and haunt you in return.

[He looks a bit relieved when the thread is gone, dropping his hands.]

Maybe it has something to do with the god you took over.

True. Who knows, maybe we could be friends.

[She grins, getting off of him now that the thread is gone and instead moves to sit by him and Sisi agian]

Maybe. I read up on her a bit and the power fits. Who knows!

[He tilts his head at her.]

So, it could be a connection. It'd be weird to be able to see your own life thread, anyway.

You think it would be weird? I donno. I'd like to see what it looks like!

[She just smiles, twirling her finger a bit]

I've gotten super use to the power though! It's hard to remember that I only got it when I became a god. What about you, Lavi? What's your shinki power?

I'd imagine it'd be a kind of silver that just really glows, making it impossible to miss.

[Like Hajime.]

...Weather manipulation is my shinki power.

Maybe, maybe! Maybe someday you'll see it Lavi and you can tell me about it.

[Daw, he can say sweet things after all]

Oh that's cool! I use to know a god that could do that too. I can't do anything like that!

Some day. Who knows if that day will ever come.

[He huffs a bit.]

It's not exactly a rare power. My goddess and I haven't really experimented with it.

[Though she perks at the mention of his god]

Lavi, what's her name again? Hey, hey, you gotta introduce us sometime, okay? I wanna meet her too.

Her name is Cardia. Her god name is Hel.

[Please be friends with her.]

Cardia....Hel. Gotcha!

[She shifts a bit to reach into her pocket and dig out her phone. A bit of clicking and scrolling here, a big smile pulling at the corners of her lips there--]

And Bing!

Just, uh, don't overwhelm her, okay?

[Cardia is still iffy about the fact she's acidic.]

[She blinks, what ever could you mean Lavi? But shrugs and shows him her phone screen. text sent!]

[...Well. At least it might not throw Cardia off too much.]

Uwahhhhhhhh really? I bet she's super super cute!

[Hajime giggles, kicking her feet in excitement]

I can't wait to meet her! Maybe she can come by the temple too, or we can do temple sleep overs! Or make something super tasty and good. Don't worry Lavi! I'll be on my super good behavior. You have nothing to worry about!

[Have a two finger salute! As if that dismisses any and all worries]

[He feels like he needs to warn Cardia now.

What has he done?

Because that doesn't really assure him at all.]

I hope you will be.

Yeah, yeah! Easy. Really, don't worry.

[Have a reassuring shoulder pat. She'll take good care of your super cute shy god!]
