[A. August 17th - Afternoon]

[After his fight with Lux and talk with Allen, anyone who would have tried to reach Lavi will discover radio silence on his end. He left a note to Cardia explaining he’d be out all day. He wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone right now, not after the parting words Lux had left him with.

Avoiding everyone seemed to be the best option right now, even if he would argue instead that he was just grabbing some fresh air.

It’s why he’s chosen to walk his temple’s latest addition around the Far Shore instead.

”Someone like you should have never been given a name to begin with!”

His jaw clenches at the memory of it, but it was a mistake to take his eye off the dog since Sisi runs off and Lavi’s quick to run after it.]

Sisi, wait!

[B. I Lost You Again]

[Sometime, at some point during the month, people might find Lavi sitting at an area where Allen’s temple used to be. He has a knee drawn up to his chest, a hand covering his face as if he’s trying hard to ignore the sudden pang of loneliness that hits him. Fortunately, Sisi seems to be his company today, too, sitting beside Lavi and has his head rested on Lavi’s other leg.

The redhead gently gives him a scratch, though he looks distracted.]

Damn it, Allen.

[Sisi whimpers a bit as Lavi retracts his hand to mess with a pair of white gloves that he found - the same kind of gloves he’s seen Allen wear before.

He grits his teeth, the other hand moving away from his face and he slams a fist onto the ground.]

Damn it.

[C. He’s an Exorcist Once More]

[Somewhere in a clearing, there’s Lavi holding what appears to be a hammer that might look a little too heavy all things considering.

He has his eye closed, the head of the hammer pointed upwards as giant seals appear around him, glowing brightly. Gritting his teeth, his eye opens as one of the seals stops and glows a bright red.]

Hi Ban: Gouka Kaijin!

[Slamming the hammer down with the seal stamped onto it, a torrent of flames erupt, taking on the form of a snake that surrounds Lavi briefly before shooting upwards into the sky and disappearing in bits of ashes.]

[Lavi holds back his amusement upon seeing the bashful expression that briefly masked Orihime's face.

He watches as she opens the door, blinking once when addressed.]

We've found two gloves made out of cotton and rubber, polyester, and two pairs of acid-resistant goggles.

[Izuku looks a little bit awkward in return, but he'll let Lavi field the question.]

I hope those kinds of things will work? I'm sure we could look around for other kinds of things if they're not enough.

We shall soon find out, Izuku.

[She turns and places the two scraps on her worktable.]

As I told Lavi, I have not ever tried to craft this sort of boon for a god's attire before.

[Then she kneels down next to the table and begins to handle the gloves and goggles by hand.]

Such an incredible feeling these have...

[She is very fascinated.]

[Lavi tilts his head to the side briefly.]

Would you be able to work with those?

[Since he doesn't know if those would work for what Orihime needs.]

[He's pretty sure the gloves will be workable, but he's not so certain about the goggles.

If it's clothing Orihime is making then it's a little harder to work with plastic, isn't it? But it's like... god blessed clothes, so maybe it's something different?]

[Orihime feels the top of the goggles with one hand and the surface of the gloves with the other. She tugs on both of them like one would draw makeup out of a canister, or butter out of a tub, and she pulls both of her hands across the two scraps of fabric she has. She pulls lengthsways so that she touches both scraps with one hand - on the upper half - and the other hand hits the lower half of both scraps.

There's a soft glow, and then Orihime picks up the two scraps in her hands. She tried to transfer what made both objects acid-resistant onto the scraps and she feels them in her hands, she nods, satisfied with the experiment.

She turns to the two young men: ]

There we go, test fabrics. Have either of you any acid to pour on the scraps?

[He watches with interest. There's something rather fascinating in the way she works and while he has no interest in actually doing anything like this of his own, he has much respect for the people who does.

However, he shakes his head.]

Unfortunately, I don't.

I don't usually carry acid on me? Is there a specific type we should look for?

[Orihime looks to Lavi.]

I do not know if there is a specific type of acid we need. Is there Lavi?

[She doesn't want to speculate on Izuku's awareness of Lavi's underlying purpose for all of this.]

Perhaps it would be better if you took these samples with you and tried them out for yourself? Even holding them would show their nature - that is, whether they will serve their purpose or not.

[He gives a nod.]

I'll take them, if you don't mind. It's, ah, not exactly the kind of acid I can take with me to test it out.

[Considering how it's Cardia herself and all...]

[Izuku gives a little nod.]

Alright, then should we stay here while you test it?

[Orihime shakes her head.]

If these samples are truly successful, they should see some wear - perhaps several hours for a few days. If they hold up for merely an hour, then they will not prove sufficient for clothing. However, if they do last...

[She smiles at Lavi.]

Then we shall have what you are looking for. I look forward to hearing from you.

[He smiles at her in return.]
