Don't Stop and ride upon the wind [OTA]

(A) Training – abandoned temples/around

[Be it alone or with Shizuo, Izumo or Hitsu; Goten really does enjoy training. It’s an outlet for all his energy and for a small kid he has a lot of it to spare. He had spent a couple days trying to sneak up on Izumo and it took a lot more effort than he thought. Even with the use of the shinki spell, Umbra, that wasn’t enough to sneak up on the older shinki. So that just meant he needed to train more, right?

This time around he’s trying to work on a little bit of everything. Borderlines for a while, ki Chi blasts, punching through large rocks or broken structures of the abandoned temples. When he isn’t darting around, he’s catching his breath on the ground or chugging down one of the water bottles he brought along.]

(B) New addition - Icarus - Various places

[There has been a new addition to the Forseti household. A purple dragon had shown up in Goten’s room a few days prior and though it was a surprise the two were quick to become friends. If anything, the dragon almost seemed overly friendly like he already knew the younger shinki before but Goten didn’t pay too much mind to it. This wasn’t something appeared in his room randomly anyway. First it was Nimbus, then those weird green beans and now a dragon! Finding a name for the dragon is a bit of an issue since everything Goten comes up with is grunted or snorted at. Who knew dragons could be so moody about names?

Regardless, the pair can keep themselves entertained fairly well. Various games of fetch, to racing around temples or just wrestling around with Goten laughing. The dragon may be nameless but it is ridiculously friendly and quick to perk up to new faces.]

(C) Chickens - Near Aditi's temple

[The chickens, for whatever reason, are one of the charms for Goten of Sharak’s place. He is free to visit almost any time he wants as the barrier surrounding Aditi’s temple does let him come and go. He forgets the barrier is even there half the time. Especially when it comes to running around and chasing a few of the hens or running away from the mean rooster that looks over them.

So, when one hen gets loose and ventures out from the temple, Goten is after it almost instantly. But chasing the poor bird is just getting it further and further from the coop. Already dirty with white feathers sticking out of his hair, Goten dives for the hen just as it hops out of his reach. No matter how fast or strong the young shinki gets, the chickens are just amazing at dodging him. Rubbing his face clean of dirt on the back of his sleeve, Goten continues running after the flightless bird.]

Come back! I don’t think you’re supposed to go this far from Sharak’s temple! You’re gonna get lost!

(D) - Blond is the new black - Forests/Training Grounds/Near Hitsugaya's temple

[Getting use to turning blond has been something that has been at the top of Goten’s priority list. Since the accident with Izumo, he’s been really worried about this form but he does have better control of it now thanks to a certain child-sized white-haired Shinigami.

With the advice, he’s trying to keep up this blonde form for at least the entire day as instructed. It started in the morning and now in the later afternoon he is looking a little tired. Blond spiky hair and bright green eyes replace his usual dark features. Anyone that can sense or feel energy will fill it practically radiating from Goten. He is staying clear of the temples though, staying more towards the forests, abounded temples or a little closer to Hitsugaya’s place just to be safe and not to break anything. But he’s trying to just have fun by looking for frogs or things to do. He had planned to try and study but after accidentally tearing one of the math books in half which is on the ground a few feet away....yeah he doesn’t want to make Yukine or Hakkai mad.]

(E) Water-guns - Various Temples/Places

[The gift from Yona has been one of the best ones he’s ever gotten! Like any kid with a new toy, he must use them! Sneaking around various temples that belong to other gods, Goten keeps an eye out for an unsuspecting target. The only people that are safe from the demi saiyan’s water guns are Sharak and Aymeric, everyone else is free game. Typically taking aim from the sky thanks to his ability to fly or ducking around something quick, he squirts the water gun before running off and trying to stay out of sight.]

Not uh! There's no where for you to run, or hide or shoot back at me.

[Goten may be getting a little cocky but it's all in good fun. After all, he's not blasting Eric with chi or anything. Just water! But that doesn't mean he isn't going to use his other abilities. He does circles above Eric, swooping down low at him before flying back up and shotting the water gun.

Grinning with confidence he swoops down quickly again, aiming to tackle the blond]

[ Maybe it was Goten flying around making him dizzy, or the comments he was making or the gun not gun being pointed at him, but Eric was feeling a bit freaked out. He tried to stay calm, going around, trying to hide or find something to retaliate with. But he couldn't find anything, and constant getting bombarded with cold water only made things worse and more chaotic in his head.

No where to run, no where to hide...can't fight back. He tries to raise one of his hands, get his attention. He needs to get calm and dry, maybe then this feeling will stop. ]

O-okay...enough Go--

[ He winces at another water gun hit him, cutting him off from a small plea of pause. He shivered, trying to catch his breath. This was bad, he can't think well.

He saw the kid coming towards him, but for some reason it wasn't play and he was getting scared. Goten was going to hurt him and he didn't know why. Hide, he can't, can't run, he's too fast. Breathe, just breathe...

He shut his eyes, hands on his head as he dropped to the ground to curl up in a ball. His aura erupted, covering his whole body because maybe that would make this stop. At least it was going to help him dry off. ]

S-STOP!

[Something is wrong....

Goten blinks when Eric drops down the ground like he's trying to protect himself. It's the shouted 'Stop' and explosion of a fiery aura that really jolts Goten though.
He's moving too fast and is already too close to stop himself from crashing into Eric. He's fought with Izumo enough to know their aura's are dangerous.

Instinctively, he tries to slow himself down by flailing his arms out on either side of him---but that isn't working so instead he tries to pick up speed and fly up and over Eric. The initial jerk and slowing he tried to do seconds before ruins any chance of that that as he's way too close to Eric now and slams right into him.

The momentum alone makes the two shinki tumble over each other before Goten lets out a yelp and shoves Eric away in his own panic. With Eric and his aura away from him, he flees to the air quickly, flailing a bit as he pats himself down making sure his clothes didn't catch. Luckily, he had moved fast enough--but his hands didn't escape getting burned. His fingers and palms sting really bad, enough to make Goten hiss a bit. But it's actually a decent outcome considering he flew into that flaming aura. Luckily he was able to use his own chi to protect himself a little bit.

He glances back down towards Eric. What....happened?]

[ Eric yelps as he's slammed into, rolling around and getting shoved again before he tumbles against a wall, his aura deciding to leave him as he stayed curled up, trying to register what just happened. At the same time he was trying to breathe, the wind knocked out of his lungs from that attack. Was it an attack? He wasn't sure...

He looked around, shaking slightly. He couldn't run, or hide, right? He shakes his head, it was fine, he was fine. But this was bad, he was going to be hurt...Was he getting orders? Where was the threat? Calm down, calm down.

Give him a minute, Goten, cause he's a bit shaken up. Just a little bit though. ]

[Goten needs a minute to figure out what just happened too. But he recovers faster then Eric. Winching as he tries to open and close his hands, he opts for just letting them stay how they are as he floats back down. With the aura gone, the threat of being burned again is gone. At least for now.

He lands a few feet from Eric, keeping his hands behind his back because...Eric looks way too spooked already.]

Eric....?

[Goten says his name softly, looking concerned. He didn't mean to scare him...he was just playing]

You okay?

[ Eric tried to wrap one of his arms around him. not only to feel a bit more secure but also because he already started to feel sore from the tackle and hitting a wall. He wanted to run, run and hide in a small, dark spot and just think for a moment in peace. He was scared he was...

His name being called has him freeze, snapping him out a bit from whatever this was. He turns his head sharply to the noise. A kid...no, no not just some kid it was Goten. It was Goten...they had been playing, a water gun right, and he started to feel scared and then...Eric looked away. ]

I'm fine! I'm...I'm fine...I...

[ He trails off, because was he telling Goten he was fine? Or was he trying to convince himself he was? He groans, running his hand through his hair. he really needed to calm down because what was all of this he was feeling. ]

Just...a minute, okay?

[That fine, doesn't sound fine. Goten ducks his head a bit at that, staring at Eric. He's....just so confused! He doesn't get why the older shinki suddenly got upset. The tackling part, yes, but what sparked the aura and everything before that?

Goten frowns at him worriedly, he didn't mean to scare or make Eric mad. He waits a minute. Or what he guess is a minute. It feels like awhile.]

You sure...? I didn't mean to tackle you that hard...

[It wouldn't of been that hard if Goten wasn't startled.]

[ Eric's just about as confused as Goten was, if not more so because he just reacted, and he doesn't know why he reacted like that but he just...did. He growls a bit, not to Goten, but to himself because this was just frustrating. He wished he knew why this had happened and if he could just calm down already!! ]

I don't know, I didn't mean...It just happened, okay? I don't know...know why...

[ He takes in some more air, getting to breathe a bit more normal, a bit more calm. Finally he begins to sit up, wincing a bit because yep that sure was a bruise going to be happening. ]

I got...scared. And my aura just... [ His eyes widen and he goes back to looking at Goten, his flames had been out and he tackled him! ] ...you're, you're hurt? Are you okay?

[Goten frowns at the wincing. He thinks back to when he fractured Izumo's ribs with a kick but that had been when he was blond and surely he hadn't tackled Eric that hard...right? Ooops. Goten just watches him carefully, guilt growing before Eric redirects things to him.

He blinks and takes a step back with nervous laughter. He looks a little singed but other then that fine!]

I'm okay! I'm okay! Y-You're the one that got knocked into a wall!

[Goten tries to smile but despite his efforts, he is terrible at lying. He wears his heart on his sleeve so it's nearly impossible for him to hide that. He keeps his hands behind his back despite the urge to blow on them. So again he'll ask;]

Are you okay?

[ The step back, nervous laughing, nothing was convincing to Eric as Goten lied. He had hurt him, he had hurt this kid that just wanted to play with him.

His stomach dropped as he remembered Izumo's words. He wasn't going to be happy with Eric after this either. That didn't matter right now as much as he hurt Goten without meaning to, without wanting to.

He shakes his head, lowering it, not wanting to look at the kid. ]

I'm sorry...I'm sorry. I didn't...didn't mean to. That was bad, very bad. I'm sorry.

[Watching Eric just makes Goten feel worse. The step back turns into three steps forward as he moves closer.]

Eric, it's okay. I didn't mean to scare you or hit you so hard. It just...happens.

[Sometimes. It doesn't always make it okay but Goten knows Eric wasn't trying to hurt him and Goten wasn't trying to hurt Eric. They both slipped and hurt each other.]

We both got powers and are strong and sometimes stuff happens....that doesn't mean you gotta beat yourself up over it so much.

[ Goten made sense, accidents happen, powers are a thing and it just happened, right? But instead he freaked out, and why did he freak out? There was no need to do that and yet he did. ]

Didn't mean to get scared either...Not your fault...

[ Everything had happened because of him, Goten hadn't really done anything wrong. He had just been playing and Eric thought...something else of it. Damn it he hated not being able to explain things, not having memories to help in whatever this was.

He tugged on his hair lightly. At least he was getting better. ]

Just, wish I knew why that happened.

[Goten watches him for a moment before walking closer. He moves next to Eric and takes a seat to his left side, resting his back against the same wall once he plops down. Goten is careful with his hands, not using them to sit down and resting them on his knees; palm up. He'd probably be whining or crying more about his hands had he not gotten multiple accidental burns from Izumo before. They really hurt, especially with this placement but he's gotten up from being knocked through a mountain and face-diving the ground before. He'll be okay.]

It's not a bad thing to get scared. I get scared to but I think the more you do something, the less scary it becomes.

[Eric doesn't seem mad and that's the important thing here. Sure, he feels guilty about the whole thing but he isn't upset so Goten gives him a small reassuring smile]

We just gotta be more careful when we play! I think sparring would be a good idea sometime though, Eric.

[Playing; Goten doesn't expect fire but training and sparing is different.]

[ Eric stiffens when Goten sits besides him, not expecting it in the least. He relaxes again as he listens to the kid, surprised by the bit of wisdom he gave. Kids really did have a simple outlook on life.

He gives a small smile back, and even a quiet chuckle at his words. ]

You're pretty smart, huh? Might need your help next time I do get scared...and sparring does sound better than playing...for now.

[ With that said, he frowns a bit, staring at the kids hands. The guilt came back as it dropped in his stomach and twisted. He had to do something, it looked painful. ]

Hang on...

[ He gets up from the spot, letting out a small hiss as he feels a bit of pain. Ignoring it, he went inside his temple. A few moments later, he returns, an icepack in hand. He gives it to Goten to hold before sitting back down where he had been.]

Just...just until we get a healer, at least. Help stop any burning...

[Goten's smile grows at that.]

I'll help you, Eric. Don't worry, you don't gotta be scared around me. I'm really strong but I'd never hurt you...on purpose.

[As they just established. Accidents happen. But sparring with Eric does sound like fun. He might not be as use to it as Izumo but with sometime he probably do great too. Who knows, he's never tried fighting Eric either.

Goten blinks when he gets up, watching him go. The wince doesn't go unnoticed but he doesn't say anything for now. Eric isn't gone for long either and Goten happily takes the ice bag. There's a wince when the bag first touches his burned skin but it's soothing just seconds after making Goten slump more against the wall. Ahhh~]

Thanks Eric....mmm I donno any healers. Maybe Hitsu...?

[He mumbles that. Is hitsu a healer? He isn't sure or doesn't remember. He'd probably know one. Maybe. Or Izumo.]

[ He keeps his smile on for a while. It was kind of fun being with this kid. ]

Thanks for the help. I wouldn't hurt you either, on purpose. It's not something I want to do.

[ He tilts his head at that. If Hitsugaya was a healer that would be good. He knew Nanako was one but Hitsuagaya might be a better fix for this... ]

Hitsugaya? I'll give him a call, I guess...

[ He stands up to call Hitsugaya and they have a conversation , before he hangs up. ]

He'll be here in a bit, okay?

[See! They're on the same page. Eric is a good guy. They can practice not hurting each other.

He perks when Eric makes the call though. He can't help but curiously eavesdrop, not that it's anything he doesn't already know.]

'kay! Have you met Hitsu before, Eric?

Few times.

[ He goes back to sitting down beside Goten, though he has to adjust a bit because whoops felt a bit of pain on his side again.]

He's helped me train with my aura. You?

He did?

[Goten gapes at that. He didn't know that! Heck, he didn't even know they knew each other at all! Wow...]

I guess Hitsu really likes training and helping people huh? He's a friend of mine and we spar a lot together and I help with prayers and stuff sometimes too.

[Goten's eyes fall to Eric's side, he can't see through his shirt/hoodie so he reaches over to try and grab the end up his hoodie and pull it up ignoring his hand for the moment--ow ow ow]

[ The awe in Goten's face makes him raise his eyebrows. This kid really was easily amused. ]

You really spar with a lot of people, you enjoy fighting, huh?

[ Oh my god Goten PERSONAL SPACE! Eric's quick and grabs the kid's wrist and stops him from pulling up his hoodie. ]

Don't. Okay?

[Goten blinks at that and looks up at him again. He frowns a little in protest.]

But you're hurt too, right? Lemme see.

[He doesn't know what personal space is.]

It's fine.

[ Goten you really need to learn some around Eric or else you're going to give this guy a panic attack.

He thinks for a moment, how to explain this without really explaining it...]

Look, There's stuff that I don't want people to see. It, could cause trouble with shinki's, alright?

[ It wasn't just about the tattoo but that was the most explainable thing. He didn't want to cause harm to Goten, just in case. ]

Is it that bad? I promise I won't get you in trouble with shinki stuff, Eric. I just wanted to see where I hit you...its just me and you here?

[He doesn't understand the problem with that. The tattoo and anything else is unknown to him but he won't push, for now. He just sits there with his wrist still in Eric's hand looking a little put out.]

It can be. It could get really bad, and I said I don't want to hurt you on purpose.

[ He loosens his grip, allowing Goten to remove his hand, but enough that he could still grab it if he tries it again.

He closes his eyes, using his other hand to gently touch the part that hurt. He winced but he still gave a small smile. ]

It feels like it's just bruised, nothing broken or sprained. You're worse off, okay?

[ Don't ask how he can tell the difference because he doesn't even know. ]

I don't think you will...but okay... If youre sure?

[Goten doesn't look or sound convinced but he leans back again. Hitsugaya will be by soon and he'll make sure Eric get's looked at by him to.]

I was worried I did the same thing I did to Izumo to you. [Only without the blond which would make it way scarier. Goten likes being strong. Likes picking up cars and able to take hits but being able to hurt his friends with little effort isn't fun. That's why he wanted to check...not that he'd be able to tell from just looking or feeling Eric's side but still...]

Not uh. I get burns all the time from sparing with Izumo. [Maybe not this bad because he usually has his guard up but still. He moves his hand back to the ice bag before he blinks and looks down at it, then to Eric's side]

.....

[Goten shuffles closer to Eric and reaches for his side again. But this time he doesn't go to pull up his hoodie but instead tries to push and hold the ice pack to Eric's side with both hands. This way his hands are good and Eric can get some ice too!]
