Who: All OPEN with Shizuo!
When: September 20th-24th (just pick a day, for timing/personal record reasons)
Where: Around! (Each one is being noted)
What: Sometimes Shizuo is an idiot. Occasionally he just has bad luck. These are just a few of those days.
A @ Yona's Temple (Cnoc Áine)
[ Originally, having been impaled by a chainsaw served as a great reason to have skipped out on training. He had been kind of avoiding meeting up with Sharak ever since his impromptu confession had gone up in flames. At this point, it's been... almost a month since the last proper training, hadn't it? After the whole 'incident' during that moon viewing, or incidents as the case really was, the idea of seeing the monk just turned into a ball of awkwardness that he wasn't ready to address, and wasn't able to pretend that it never happened. The injuries were also the reason why he hadn't met up with Izumo or Goten for training either.
After talking to Hakkai, it seemed like there was going to be a countdown until it all blew up. Him telling Hakkai that he used to train under Sharak, being a little more covert in walking around and taking less conventional means up the 'hill' to the temple, and conveniently forgetting his phone at the bar, or in his room.
This time he was awol with no ways of being in contact for most of the day by having obscured himself on the temple grounds where the horses were grazing and relaxing today. One of them seemed to be particularly large at this point, so it was honestly worth checking on them once in a while. Thing was, Hak knew horses way better than he did, so Shizuo knew that he could laze around them or take a brief look to make sure they were in good health, but that was about it.
Eventually, he'd have to go back inside and continue with his business for the day.
When was the last time he even trained on his own? Thinking about it now, he's starting to realize that maybe, just maybe, he got into a bit of a lazy streak. ]
B @ Around the Far Shore by rivers and creeks
[ Poetry was definitely an improvement to all of the splashing that these fish have been doing. Save for the fact that the few times the blond stopped to listen to them, they were mostly subtle critiques, or references to giving them a taste of blood from the sky. A reference to what happened a little over a couple of weeks ago. Which leaves the man less than impressed. He almost always has a different comment to them. One of which being; ]
You'd have better luck singing for food.
[ Which earns him a rather large splash in the face. Pushing his hair to slick it back and keep the hair down, instead of a wild mess, he moves further back and out of range. ]
Damn koi are gonna end up a fish fry if they keep this up.
C @ Double Cross Bar
[ Izumo may be gone, but there was still a business to be run, and someone had to get there to open the doors. So while later than Izumo would ever get there, he finally reaches the doors. With several chestnuts stuck in his hair and on his clothes thanks to the spines of the shell. Which he hasn't noticed, having only caught and held onto the ones that landed on his arms or smacked him in the face.
Well, they could be used for something. Which is why they weren't just tossed off to the side, though this may start attracting some crows at various nearby rooftops. ]
Sorry for being late. Lemme just get the doors.
[ After all, with the picture wall and how people just stay in the apartment upstairs at times, Shizuo knew there were more than just customers that came to the bar. ]

You are in a ridiculous state. What have you gotten yourself up to?
no subject
He never thought she'd give him that kind of look, though. For all he knew, it was carrying the pile of spiny kuri in his arms, being unaware of the ones that stuck their landings elsewhere. ]
Seems that birds have been throwing them everywhere, including people. So I just held onto the ones I saw flying at me.
no subject
[The bar is opening very late, and as for Shizuo... well, she has little idea what is transpiring with him, but having not seen him for some time, she suspects it is nothing good.]
...You are aware that you have many more stuck to you, are you not?
no subject
Hm? Here, lemme get the doors open so I can see what you mean.
[ Freeing one of his hands, he gets the front door unlocked. To which he'll hold open for Lenn to get in first. ]
I guess I can't be surprised that there were more than I could see. They were throwing these at a bunch of people.

Huuuh? You can't eat them!
no subject
[ So you're right, kid. He's not going to eat them. However there's creek water dripping from his hair and part of his work clothes is drenched. ]
If they're doing this to other people that won't feed them, though, I can think of one person that'll get a fishing rod or net to deal with them.
C 21st
Shizuo!
[Goten stops, hovering just above him frowning.]
no subject
Seeing the way the kid was frowning, that seemed to just confirm what all the other signs were saying. At least he's assuming this is about Izumo being gone and not the fact that he's ditched training for over a month. ]
I know, kiddo. C'mon, let's get inside.
[ Let him get off the ground and on his feet again so he can unlock those doors. ]
no subject
Now with Izumo missing, Aymeric not waking up...At least Shizuo is still around and moving. He half expected something to happen to him to. He's relieved to just see Shizuo. Shizuo was Izumo's best friend too. He's gotta know something even if he wasn't around that much.
Still Goten keeps frowning, clenching his hands into tiny fists.]
What's going on? I don't get it!
no subject
I don't think any of us were expecting it. You know sometimes people just... disappear.
[ With the doors unlocked, he's going inside. The place still needs to be opened, after all. He's got prep, cleaning and other things to do before people really start coming in. ]
It's weird too. We were watching movies less than a day before it happened. Well, we were showing Yona some movies. I can't really say that I watched most of them.

Shizuo...are you picking a fight with the fish?

Well, now he feels silly. ]
... It's more like they're picking fights and demanding food for it.
no subject
Hang on a sec.
[She retreats back inside, and a minute or so later will go out to where he's at carrying a towel and bag of slice bread.]

[ Yata just stares at the blond from where he's sitting on the front steps of Izumo's bar, waiting for the other blond.
Since Shizuo doesn't seem to be aware of the state he's currently in, Yata just... gestures at his head with a bewildered look. ]
You, uh... Got some things stuck to you.
no subject
[ He follows the gesture by running a hand through his hair, combing to try and catch whatever this 'thing' might be. By which, it's clear that he has no clue how many he's catching or that there's already a couple in the hand. Well, he does when pulling it down to see the kuri.
There's still a couple left from where his hand didn't go. ]
Huh. Guess so. Ah, lemme just open this up.
[ After Izumo had gone into that extended sleep, he's held onto his own set of keys and actually had the account information needed to handle all the business that went on here. Not that he's had to yet, but it was a backup. ]
What brings you here?

I'm here for the fishes
[ Fists aren't going to suffice this time. This is one of those things where raw strength is - shockingly - not enough. ]
At least their poems are getting better and better.
[ He'd like a personalized poem too, but it looks like the fishes are avoiding him. And by avoiding, he means just resorting to splashing him. They're afraid, they must be ]
they were made for you
[ He's not the fisher here, anyway. Give him a second more to finish slicking his hair back to get the excess water out. ]
The poems aren't getting better. They're just being jackasses. You ever get your rod replaced?
I'm touched. Now every time a fish is mentioned I'm summoned
Sadly I never got around to do that. [ Didn't buy, nor make one oops. ] Hey, that look kind of suits you.
this is the fate you're set to
Servant class - Angler
Cu'd love having that for a class
If he had a choice, he'd rather be- wait for it- waait--- Lancer!

DID THEY LEARNED EACH OTHER NAMES, the true rp horrors
NOPE. Shizuo gave a lot of names, but not his own
we're clearly failures...
he's been so good on the name thing too. caster ruined his streak
we could always handwave the introduction... but them just being dumb is tempting
(no subject)
it is. they WOULD be dumb enough with each other to only go with 'hey' and not know names

[It's been a while, Shizuo.
Toushirou greets the shinki with a brief nod, though he's not sure how to really make of the scene.]
no subject
[ Hey kid that doesn't entirely seem to be a kid. The last time he saw you was... oh yeah, his shoulder was dislocated, wasn't it? ]
Been a while.
no subject
[Why is that every time he sees you, he hears that you've gotten hurt or are hurt?]
It has been. Seems like you're doing well for someone who's been injured.

A - For Sharak, first!
So she's unaware that anyone might be unhappy with this sudden extended change and is currently the only one to be found at home in her temple while her shinki is off elsewhere avoiding his prior commitments.
Seated at one of the small tables near the edge of the orchard, Yona's munching on an apple and reading a book while the herd of fae horses grazes nearby, keeping an eye on things during the otherwise quiet afternoon. ]
no subject
Clearly leaving Shizuo alone isn't a solution. He's also voiced no desire to be left alone to her- quite the opposite, going by their initial conversation at the party. So Sharak decides to give him a call. He doesn't answer. She stops by the bar. It's closed, for some reason. She visits Shizuo's usual training ground. He's nowhere to be found. Sharak begins to become annoyed.
She knows who his goddess is, though they haven't properly met, and where her temple is because of course she does. Of course she does. Walking up the stairs is easy. Walking into the temple is also easy. Doing a quick survey, failing to spot her target, and instead taking a seat across from Yona at her table isn't particularly difficult either. ]
Good afternoon.
