[Uhhhh how else is he supposed to explain to her...]

Do you know where he is right now? Can you take me to him?

[She may not be able to speak but Sukomi understands his words. She nods and ushers him inside, leading him past the living room (where Mandragora is seen but sleeping on his back in a sunbeam) and down a hallway to a set of ornate wooden double doors. Then, Sukomi knocks twice and peeks inside for a moment before opening the door fully, letting Yoon come inside. There he will see Aymeric sitting at the desk with some paperwork in one hand and a quill in another. The office itself looks like there has been a good deal of use but still clean enough not to be called a mess. There's maps of various places such as the Far Shore and of various places outside of it including Heligoland and other places in Europe and his laptop is close by, being closed for the time being. He looks up and sees Sukomi and Yoon there and puts down the items and greets them warmly.]

Ah, welcome Yoon! Forgive the slight mess [Not really a mess] If I had known to expect you, I would have been waiting in the living room.

[And to Sukomi]

My thanks for showing him in. [To which she nods and bows to both before leaving, closing the door behind her.] To what do I owe the pleasure?

[Yoon blanches at 'mess'. It's almost as bad as Ran was at making a 'mess' which was actually more like 'not lived in' whereas Aymeric's is clearly 'lived in but well-maintained.' Since Aymeric asked, he jumps straight to the chase.]

Goten and I talked before. He apparently thinks I could be a big brother to him if you took me on. And Yona and Hitsugaya have named me.

[Aymeric will be able to see one symbol that Yoon gestures to on the left front of his neck at 'Yona', then he pulls up his shirt sleeve on the right side at 'Hitsugaya'. Yona's is 母 (Ba), Mother. while Hitsugaya's is 癒 (Yu), to heal or cure.]

So all that's left is for us to talk now that you've had some time after waking up.

[Which is a weird thing that he wishes Goten hadn't had to go through, but not something he could change either.

And he very much sees it as a discussion and negotiation process, rather than something he needs to have done or that Aymeric had already agreed to. They'd talked a lot. That didn't matter. Only a final action did.]

You were not an older brother to him before this?

[Aymeric himself has the thought process that one does not need blood relations in order to be considered family; just as long as there is a close bond then yes, that can be very much true. But he listens more and realizes that Yoon is asking him to Name him. It's a bit more surprising when he already has two others who has done the same and he's asking about a third. Mainly himself. Look he does not get these offers at all, usually they are assigned or in Sukomi's case, she followed him.]

I...I am quite honored that you thought of me for this.

[Yoon shakes his head.]

No, I think I've mostly been his tutor. I'm not even sure you could call us friends - he seems to listen to me at least?

[But then Yoon doesn't have a context for older/younger siblings anyway.]

I didn't know if you'd think of it that way, honestly. They tell us that noras aren't well thought of - and I hadn't asked about that last time we talked about before. So I really wasn't sure you'd... say honored of all things.

[He's got both hands balled at his side, confused and nervous like maybe Aymeric didn't actually understand him. Shinki are conditioned to instinctively reject noras. So why can't he?]

Perspectives differ from person to person. What one may think can be different from another.

[Mainly because Goten can easily make friends and call them so. Hence believing that they are friends. But he knows noras are not the best thought of and for valid reasons. Gods can be hurt if their shinki feels guilt or even blight but Aymeric knows while the natives may assume it taboo, it's because there are those who do not realize the potential. Every plan has its risks no matter what course is taken. Aymeric is just someone who is willing to take the bad with the good.]

Some of the older gods may believe that, however, I am not one of them. I judge a person by their deeds, not who or what they are. I would be a fool to be blinded by such matters.

[That makes Yoon smile.]

That's why you're one of the gods I respect.

[He can be very blunt sometimes, for worse most of the time but sometimes for the better.]

If that's really how you feel, I'm ready... to be named, I mean. I've gotten a little more used to it now.

[And not just because he willingly subjected himself to it twice recently, but because the results that came from those acts have generally been good ones.]

Of course. We need not wait any longer.

[If only Yoon can meet a good friend of his. Estinien is also the kind who is blunt but given that most men in Ishgard would try to kiss rears to save themselves, the bluntness and truth is refreshing. Getting up from his desk and walking to the young shinki, Aymeric kneels to his height. It's meaningful in a couple ways: it's his own way of saying that he sees Yoon as an equal and does not expect anything less. And also, he's very tall and used to having to take a knee to try and talk to others so they don't hurt their necks while trying to talk to him. But even if this is serious, the god smiles as he starts the spell.]

"My name is Forseti.
Grasping thy true name, I bind thee here. With borrowed name, I dub thee my servant.
The name answers, the vessel to sound.
I call thee as my divine instrument. The name, 'Yoon'. The Vessel, 'An'."

[...it's actually a bit unnerving because this is the first time he's named someone who wasn't soulless. Goten came to him from an assignment and Sukomi...just followed him. Naming a soulless is a bit different to him at least. But then he finishes as he holds out his hand.]

"COME, ANKI!"

[The kind way that Aymeric says the spell helps Yoon to relax in light of how stressful this whole naming and serving a god thing is for Yoon. He takes a breath and holds it while the spell completes, wrapping him in the light of the spell.

Of all the things for Yoon to transform into as a shinki vessel, he'd resolved himself to be items. Things that couldn't affect the world around him, only support the efforts of his god. That's why when he turns into a little ball of light like the past two times before, he instinctively expects to be grasped next in Aymeric's hands.

He doesn't expect to start growing extra limbs and still be able to breathe normally and see normally and...

Wait, but he can't speak.]

'What... what is this??'

[Okay, he can shinki-speak, but still. FREAK OUT. WHAT IS HE?

There's now a horse-like creature crowding Aymeric's office.]

[If it helps, Aymeric too was expecting something...smaller. The expression on his face clearly did not prepare for a dragon-horse creature within his office space; rather stunned.]

I have heard of these creatures but I had thought them to be of legends. I can explain after but are you able to revert back?

[Yoon was hardly prepared to transform into something larger than himself either. He'd become a bag, a scarf, and a bow. Nothing very large at all. Then all of a sudden this!]

'Shinki can't choose to revert... can they?'

[Granted that he's spent next to no time in his vessel forms compared to the length of time he's been in the Far Shore, but he's nearly positive that if that had been true he'd 1) already be back to his normal self and 2) almost never be able to get called into vessel form by his god on sheer force of willpower to resist something he hated.]

Just relax. It may be easier.

[He has to recall how he usually handled Goten and Sukomi; its never a command but permission? He never says 'REVERT' but rather 'go ahead and change back'. They aren't soldiers so he never felt right barking a command to either of them.]

I may have a way: 'go ahead and change back'.

[The thought of reverting was in it but will it work? The order was there but not sounding as such if it makes sense.]

[Yoon does try to breathe in and out, making a snorting horse-like sound in the process, but that doesn't actually change him back.

Only after Aymeric gives the 'command' does it finally happen. His form shifts back into light and he feels his arms and legs going back to normal, pulling into his much smaller frame.]

.... Hah...

[He exhales heavily with relief, hands going to his knees.]

So... huge.

I was not expecting that to be quite frank.

[Still reeling over the fact that a dragon pony was standing here and Heavens what the actual hells? He gingerly touches Yoon's shoulder and looks with worry because the others became objects....would anything have changed?]

Are you feeling alright?

... Y-yeah, I think so.

[ He holds up his hands then, as if barely able to believe they're back. ]

I've never seen...

[ He looks up at Aymeric then. ]

Shinki can become animals?

It appears to be the case.

[Doesn't the form usually take shape of what the god needs? Because if that is the case, he can see it but not be one of those types that would constantly use it for stupid reasons.]

If I knew that were to happen, surely I would have named you outside. But now that we are aware, we will need to train so both of us can be prepared when the time comes.

[He doesn't think kirins have any kind of attacks but Yoon will need to learn how to move around while in that form and not be caught by surprise. Better safe than sorry is what Aymeric is thinking at least.]

Be prepared for... when the time comes?

[ Yoon is partly still in shock and partly not all that familiar with beasts of burden. The few experiences he had have been wiped clean from him. He also doesn't have any hint yet that Aymeric knows what he turned into. ]

I don't even know what thing IS let alone how to move like that!

Best to be prepared than caught unawares; I do not believe that you will need to fight but you will need to be able to move around while in kirin form.

[Don't worry, they got this!]

A kirin is a creature who only is called when it believes a hero is worthy of them, being the ruler of the realm of beasts according to legend.

[Yoon nods at 'move around' - that's something he wouldn't mind too much, considering the other alteratives. Then he hears - really listens deeply - to Aymeric's explanation about the kirin.]

The ruler of the realm of beasts... wow.

[He definitely wants to look this up in the library later.]

So you're... okay with that being my vessel form? Like you can guess how it'd be useful?

[Because Yoon can't. He's not even sure about his power.]

[Speaking with a chuckle.]

I suppose the higher powers [He can't say Halone because man he isn't sure how gods handle worshiping other gods still.] are saying that riding a bullet train is not quick enough.

[He's joking but that's the first thought that comes to mind. But he can't help but wonder if Yoon is still nervous; one doesn't need god powers to read people.]
