A. Training
Chinatsu's trying to learn to fight, whether it be hand-to-hand or with weapons. She'll approach anyone she can for a spar, or at least people she knows. She'll either train at Nekhbet's temple, or a slightly secluded but open space at the near shore.

B. Let's hang
She may be learning to fight ayakashi, but she's still a teenager. Hang out with her in the far shore, go shopping, beat up some guys bothering other girls (wait, that's still fighting), go to the arcade or eat some fast food...anything under the sun! 

She's also down to spending time in the near shore, maybe show her that there's fun stuff to do in heaven.

C. Wildcard

Argh!

[Chinatsu braced herself as she tumbled onto the ground from another failed attempt at a jump-turn. She's breathing hard as she leans back against her hands, looking down at her already bruised legs. She'd been training for that contest Hibiki had set up, and while she didn't really want to participate, it was difficult to say no to her friend after seeing how she was at the festival. Chinatsu found a video she thought would be appropriate and easy enough to learn, but it was harder than she thought. It wasn't that it was unpleasant though. If anything, she was more than determined to get the choreo down.

Looking up, she sees notices someone's behind the slightly opened door.]

...Hey, Hibiki-san, got any ice?

Closed to Dust

[Chinatsu had told Dust that there was way more that he could do, so here she was following through with showing him exactly what those were. Except she wasn't sure. What would Dust even like to do? Does he like music? Playing? Eating picture worthy food? Easiest way would just be to get him out there and see what grabs his attention.

She's waiting for him by the nearest temple to teleport over to the near shore, scrolling through her phone for spots they could check out.]

[mithrarin]

[Dust... has no idea.]

[(But you know, feeding him is probably always a safe bet...)]

[Dust never changes, ever. Even for an afternoon with a friend, he wears the same old hat and cloak, like he's hiding from the world or keeping it at arm's length. Then again, Chinatsu knows exactly what can provoke him to lift that barrier, so honestly this is a good sign?]

[He's at least smiling as he lopes on up.] Hey. I'm not too late, right?

Closed to Shun

[Chinatsu tied her hair into a ponytail as she followed Shun outside.]

Didn't we work out fine before?

[How much can you practice being a fan? Though if he wanted to practice, Chinatsu wasn't going to say no. She did want to strengthen her bond with him after all.]

[redmare]

[Not that she expected to see him in other clothes. At least no one notices them when they're out.]

You're fine.

...You know, you can dress more comfortably. Do you even have jeans?

[If they're doing something like this, Shun would prefer a reasonably open space even if it also means being clearly visible to passerby, so he starts heading around the base of the hill and past the garden walls towards the back of it.]

We needed to work together that time. Necessity can do a lot, but we need to be sure we'll be able to do it when we're not under that much pressure as well.

[The mutual need to protect themselves and each other had been an "agreement" of sorts in their aims, but that's not always going to be the circumstances they fight in.]

...This is comfortable to me. I don't think I'd look right in jeans...

[Honestly, he has that sort of cool swordsman thing going on all the time that really would be ruined by denim...]

.....Alright, alright.

[All he does is call her and bam, right? Not that she could really say. She didn't get much experience with her previous god. What she did with Shun back then was the most she'd done as a shinki yet.]

Let's do this then.

[redmare]

[You know what? She couldn't imagine him in jeans either. They did look rather mismatched. He looked ready to go on a quest. She just looked like she was...well, going on a trip to the mall. Which really was just shorts, a top and something over that.]

Whatever floats your boat. You ready to go?

[Once they come out to the other side of the hill, Shun turns towards her. That last statement is enough for him to assume she's ready for the change, so he simply goes ahead and does it this time around.]

Come, Ouki. [Shun is very used to calling shinki into form after almost six months of being here, and there's a wilful edge to the tone to accentuate the idea of the call to battle. It's not quite dramatic, but it's more than just throwing the name out there.

He positions his hands as he did when he was learning to use tessen at the recent training meet, prepared for Chinatsu's form to appear in them.]

[At the call she transforms in his hands, turning into the pair of tessen fans.]

So? Now what?

[Addmitedly, it still felt a little strange being in this form, especially when they weren't in danger.]

[Shun tests the grip a little to see if it feels similar to what he was training with the other day - it does, so it seems like he should progress from there.]

I'm going to try some more controlled motions first. It looked like the fire came out last time when we moved, so knowing how much movement it takes could help us fight better.

[The first movement he makes is fairly straightforward - he half-spins on the spot, holding one fan out and making a motion to snap it open as he sweeps it in a wide arc.]

[redmare]

[The fan snapped open, but nothing came out. Not even a spark.]

...Did you not move enough?

Maybe. Were you focusing on bringing out the power as well? [It's something both of them need to play a part in, so Shun figures he should get the obvious potential reason for the failure out of the way.]

[redmare]

I’m pretty sure I was...try again.

[Chinatsu tries to focus more this time.]

Alright. Stay alert.

[This time, Shun focuses himself and goes for something a bit more certain - a forward flip that slashes both the fans down in front of him, similar to the first attack he made on the ayakashi they were fighting that first time.]

[ Hibiki stays aware of which members of CelePara Talent Agency are practicing in her temple at any given time - undue influencing of each other before a competition isn't desirable. She's tried not to check up on those practices too much, either. But every now and then something she's decided to do just happens to take her past a practice room. And she defaults to walking very slowly.

These are the perfectly understandable celebrity circumstances that led her to being outside when Chinatsu falls. Of course. ]

...It's in the kitchen.

[ Should she summon Wendy? Hibiki pushes the door open to get a better look. ]

[Ask Dust why they looked mismatched, and his first answer wouldn't be their clothing. Lucky indeed people couldn't see them very well, since his species is a bit of a thing... And also his weapon.]

Ready as I'll ever be. [He motions to the shrine, with a smile.] We have a plan? I only have one request myself, and we can take care of it right before we come back.

[redmare]

[Chinatsu places a hand on his shoulder.]

Sometimes, you just gotta wing it.

[They teleport over to the part of the city that's has stores lined up along the streets.]

What was it you wanted to do?

[She looks over at him curiously.]

[mithrarin]

I, uh... want to pick up an ice cream maker.

[He almost mumbles this, a little embarrassed. Not that he has any reason to be embarrassed at all, but this fails to stop him.]

[redmare]

....

[That wasn't what she was expecting.]

So you like icecream, huh?

[There's not judgment in her voice. Hell, it'd be nice to have an ice-cream maker in the temple..]

[mithrarin]

Who hit all 100 soft-serve ice cream trucks when they were making the rounds? [Now Dust lets himself be a little cocky. He's proud of that feat.] Seems I have a heck of a sweet tooth, really.

[redmare]

Pfft-- seriously?

[That's actually pretty impressive.]

You didn't lose any from that, did you?

[mithrarin]

[That's right, be impressed!]

Naw. I'm always hungry, anyway, so that means food never loses its appeal. That's something we could do while we're out?

[So here's a dude who's come out to watch. He finds a nice spot to sit, plops himself down, and then calls out—]

Chinatsu! Do you like curry?

[He's brought a picnic out, naturally. Even though they're right on the grounds of where they live, yes.]
