By now everyone should have gotten that invitation for a formal party, right? Which means it's time for one thing: shopping.

Either it's by coincidence that everyone has thought up of the same place or through the courtesy of Hibiki (whose luck had ran out on her this time), people are going on a shopping trip in the fashion capital of the world: Paris. There are always fun and new outfits to try or, or if Paris simply doesn't have your style, feel free to head to another city.

So, have fun shopping. Enjoy yourselves.

And possibly remember to pay for the clothes you want to buy. ~~Clothes aren't cheap, after all.~~

[ Shun was doing something he didn't want others to know about. Fine by him, though sort of judging from the bag and get up it might have to do with some shopping of his own. At the strange question he shrugs again. ]

You might be in one, wasn't focusing on the people.

[ It had been a faraway shot, he didn't think he got Shun in any of his pictures. ]

[Shun eyes him off for a moment or two longer as if to make sure he's telling the truth before deciding that's probably fine and turning to face front again.]

I didn't know you were interested in that sort of thing. [Shun isn't personally that interested in photography, but he knows Ren likes taking pictures of just about everything he can reach, and Fubuki can be a bit like that as well, so it doesn't seem all that uncommon. Even Nanako had that photo wall of hers in Izumo's bar.]

[ He looks at the camera in his hand, thinking for a moment. ]

Neither did I, but Iz...Kusanagi-san got me this camera as a present. Once I started to use it, it wasn't so bad. Once in awhile, it's nice to go out and take pictures of things.

[Shun doesn't have to fake the mild surprise that Izumo got him something like that as a present - he knows how close they are now, but Izumo also only just became a god, so neither of them would have remembered their previous connection until just recently. It seems like somewhat of an odd choice to him, but eventually, he just nods a little.]

It seems common. [Which is more Shun admitting that while it's not his idea of fun personally, it must have some kind of draw if that many people like it.

As they pass another shop, Shun pauses briefly. There's some long formal coats visible in the window display, but he pays more attention to Eric than he does to them, if only because he did his research before coming out to make sure he wouldn't just be wandering.]

You can go ahead and go back to that, then. [Not a very subtle way of trying to get Eric on his way, but he's making the attempt.]

Guess so.

[ It was something to do and it did help explore and see new places. He tilts his head at the mention of going back to his hobby, that was...quick. ]

You trying to get ready for that formal party?

[ He feels the sense that he's not welcome so he doesn't really want to pry and go back to his picture taking. But he was still a bit curious to the shortness of Shun's small talk. ]

[Shun grimaces a bit at the question, but he can't really deny the fact considering how obvious it is.] It's not important.

[Or the party isn't, at least. If it was just the party then he could have gone in what he already has, because he really couldn't give a damn about how he looks to the higher-ups of the Heavens. Or most people here, really.

Which might be why Shun, after a few moments of seeming to consider it, decides to add one more thing.] Don't tell Ren.

[ Victory! Eric can't help but smirk slightly when he figured it out. Not that it was hard to considering time and atmosphere. ]

Your secret's safe with me. It'd be better if it was a surprise anyways. Even if the clothes are annoying.

[That smirk is not convincing Shun of Eric's good intentions here. Instead it's just going to make him frown at him some more.] It's nothing worth making that face about.

[Still, he lets out a mildly frustrated breath before continuing.] So I'm guessing someone dragged you out already.

[Izumo being his prime suspect there, since he imagines he'd still be with Ren if it was him.]

Sorry, couldn't help it. It is funny.

[ Going the extra mile for Ren but trying to make it look like it wasn't a big deal. He didn't get why but that didn't mean he couldn't find it amusing. ]

Kusanagi-san brought a few of us shopping. He helped get me something, and how to put it on properly. It's still a weird.

No it isn't. [Shun can't see the humour in it at all himself, though he's not that great at seeing the humour in most things. This in particular seems odd to find amusing, though.]

It's annoying, but it's not that hard once you figure it out the first time, or someone shows you the first time. [Which is why Shun paid so much attention to Ren the first time on the off chance he ever needed to do it again.]

[ He shrugs, at least he found it amusing, Shun might not think so since it did include him doing this for his boyfriend. ]

So much work, it just seems ridiculous.

[ He tugs on his hoodie, not even wearing a shirt underneath. He wasn't one for fashion, nor cared but that was just how he was. Others like Izumo seemed totally fine wearing stiff clothing. Eric would just wear what was given to him. ]

People get used to that kind of thing, I guess. Still can't figure out some things.

It is ridiculous. [Shun's not even going to disagree with him on that one. He understands dressing up to a degree, at least more so than he did starting out, but he also doesn't understand why it's not acceptable to wear something that looks respectable but is also practical.]

It's not as if there's a shortage of people for you to ask if you still can't figure it out. Most people seem to have some experience with it, at least.

[Even Shun does, it's just far enough in his past that it's clouded to the point of useless.]

Yeah, I know.

[ He gives a small sigh at that. He always was asking about things. As much as he enjoyed learning, he also felt like he was bothering the same people for so much. It felt like he knew so little compared to everyone else, it was frustrating at times.

He looks away from Shun, watching some of the trees. ]

Guess you want to be left alone to shop, huh?

[ Speaking of bothering, he was probably doing that to Shun, he wanted to go shopping for suits for Ren and wanted to do so alone. ]

I'd prefer that. [A second opinion wouldn't necessarily hurt if someone refused to go away, but if Eric knows as little about all this as he does, it's just likely to be a case of two people not knowing what they're doing trying to talk about something they don't have experience with.]

I doubt it would be any use to you watching anyway. [He's not going to learn anything he doesn't already know about the subject from Shun of all people.]
