Open Mingle
Who: Everyone
Where: Near Shore (Possibly Paris, but people are free to shop all over the world, too)
When: September 28th
What: Shopping mingle!
By now everyone should have gotten that invitation for a formal party, right? Which means it's time for one thing: shopping.
Either it's by coincidence that everyone has thought up of the same place or through the courtesy of Hibiki (whose luck had ran out on her this time), people are going on a shopping trip in the fashion capital of the world: Paris. There are always fun and new outfits to try or, or if Paris simply doesn't have your style, feel free to head to another city.
So, have fun shopping. Enjoy yourselves.
And possibly remember to pay for the clothes you want to buy.Clothes aren't cheap, after all.
One of the malls they can be starting from is this lovely place. Try not to get lost.
[ooc; This is an open shopping mingle for anyone and everyone who simply want to go shopping, need an outfit for that formal party event coming up, or you're part of CelePara in which your shopping trip is being invaded by other people. Feel free to make top levels for your guys and have fun!]

[At some point or another, Izumo has decided to take his shinki out for a shopping trip besides for the formal event party or he's been convinced to help other people with their shopping. Either way, he doesn't seem to look out of place here at all and can be found in various stores or making sure no one gets lost from any group that's decided to go with him.
Despite not looking the part, he is familiar with fashion and possibly helping purchase items for people who are low on money.
Just...try not to get separated from him and get lost, okay?]
B. R&R
[After who knows how long, it's time for a break.
It's like taking a whole bunch of kids to a mall and having to make sure none of them get too lost, especially certain people in which he'd have to remind them to use their phones if they end up getting separated. So, the food court is usually a good place to take a breather, eat, and just relax, right?
Izumo can generally be found sitting somewhere, waiting for someone, or had managed to slip away for a smoke. Please come bother him.]

A
He understood getting the shoes- His feet were starting to hurt from walking around on them bare. Same with some of the clothes, aside from those formal ones that they have to pick out as well. The place was already cold and Izumo said that they only just ended summer, which meant this was nowhere near cold. All of this he was fine with, and it looked like the god had a better idea of fashion than some people (like that weird girl with the goat.) Personally he wanted something to make it easier to carry his wand on him without it falling out or anything. (Phone? He was supposed to have a phone thing with him?)
The reasoning is lost on them when they were at a place with a bunch of glasses. Eye glasses. ]
Yeah... I don't get it. Why're we here?

[Like hell Shun is going all the way to Paris for something like this - it's enough of a miracle that he's shopping at all, even just in the better-known fashion districts of Japan. And predictably enough, he's being very reserved about it, not spending any longer in any stores than he has to, and mostly burying himself among racks in the back after noticing he's not the only Far Shore resident in the area.
That doesn't mean he's completely beyond finding, though, and he's certainly making no active effort to hide himself if someone gets that far. It's pretty noticeable that he is, in fact, already wearing part of a formal outfit, a blue dress shirt and black pants, and judging by his quick picking through the waistcoats or actual coats, he's mostly looking for something that goes well over it. Though having someone nearby that he needs to keep an eye on gets distracting after a while.]
--
[B]
[Catching Shun on the streets between destinations is also possible, if less likely. He's a little more actively avoidant in these cases - he can't hide what he's wearing, but he sure can discreetly shift a bag behind his back to where it's less visible and glare at the person he's encountered as if daring them to say anything.]
B
Eric was out with his camera, just wanting to take some shots today for fun when he spots a familiar face through his lens. He clicks the picture in surprise before looking up and jogging lightly to Shun. He seemed to be wearing something a bit more fancy then what he usually wore and it made him tilt his head. ]

Hibiki had brought all interested members of CelePara Talent Agency to Paris, to clad them as befit their elite status - and gladly purchase anything they desire. Besides, this is an excellent chance! Her idols can absorb true culture, away from the troubling influences of the randomized divinity system running the Far Shore. They can mingle in a truly rarified world.
As she already owns a suitable coord for herself, Hibiki'd stopped in a boutique to pick up some everyday dresses for Wendy. Except then she'd stepped out onto the street. And dropped the boxes she was carrying. ]

[ When Izumo had suggested taking her and her dragons shopping, Yona had jumped at the opportunity, because she was well aware that most of her clothing did not let her blend in easily in this world. Besides, it would be a good experience for her friends, too. or so she hoped.
But now that they're here, she's feeling a little overwhelmed, because this place is huge and she... doesn't even know where to start. There's so many shops, how will she ever find what she's looking for here?
So she's sort of standing in the middle of the mall instead and looking more than a little lost. ]
B. Dressing up
[ The whole purpose for today had been to find a dress for this formal dinner coming up, so eventually Yona does find her way to a store with modern dresses, although these are all so different from what she's used to that she's not sure she's looking at the right things. Especially when the eager salespeople happily pile option over her arms and shove her in a dressing room to try them out.
Trying on a few different ones, she comes out in between to look in the large mirror, staring at her reflection with a small frown, trying to decide if this was what it was supposed to look like. ]
C. Wildcard

[Hauled her for suit shopping, Dust has no idea what he himself is supposed to be getting -- but he does, to his surprise, have some opinions on dresses, at least as they appear on Yona.]

[ He's not sure how he got roped into this, because he hates dressing up, but that also means he's got nothing resembling formal wear to use for this dinner party thing they're all supposed to be going to. And when Izumo mentioned it, it seemed as good an opportunity as any.
Except now he was in freaking Paris and everything was way too fancy and what the hell, why was this such a big deal?
Whatever. He found a store that sold suits and made his way inside, sorting through the racks there with a stubborn scowl, looking for anything that didn't look too uncomfortable.
....Or for really tall people. This was going to be harder than he thought. ]

[When the invitation came, Yamanbagiri didn't think much about it until one, very important subject got brought up: formal wear.
And with great reluctance, he agree to come to... Paris? Apparently, a city known for fashion. The completely foreign area, atmosphere and even the culture is making him feel like a fish out of water. This is definitely not his kind of place.
Honestly, he doesn't object to the idea of wearing a suit. But there's the matter of his cloak... can he even wear one to the party? Sure, he can pick the cleanest sheet. But... would it be appropriate?]
Tsuzuki, where do we even go?
► Cloak, Cape, All Just Names
[Wanting to take a break from staring at suits, so many suits that look too fancy and expensive for his tastes, Yamanbagiri walks away and into other sections of the mall. He stops and find a place that... seems to offer a variety of sheets?
Is it for making clothes, or use as cloaks or capes?
Regardless, Yamanbagiri is browsing through the variety of designs and materials. He's feeling each one with his fingers, to feel what the material is like against his fingertips.
He picks one up and, with practiced ease, take off his lightly (lightly!) dirty white cloak and wrap the article around himself. And look at himself in the nearby mirror. Hmm...]
It's not it.
[Maybe because the design doesn't match him? Or maybe it's too tacky. Or the colours are far too bright to wear.
design varies based on tag-insCare to provide a second opinion?](OOC: Still on hiatus, but will be around early
next yearJanuary!)Suit Shopping
There's a gesture for that, right?
He grins, a little nervously, at Yamanbagiri, and points at the street ahead of them. It's supposed to be one of the fancier clothes-shopping areas, and a number of the windows have restrained displays in them; some seem to focus on dresses, but there are plenty of men's suits, too.]
Let's pick one and see! Any of the men's shops probably have tuxes.
[Which he... thinks is the right level of formal for a fancy Heavenly party? It's not like the invitation said "white tie."
And they've got enough spending money, which means one very important thing: once they find their formalwear? French food!]

Most don't know what to do.
[Human-form Celestia steps out of an aisle of the shop, a dress slung over her shoulder, a suit tossed over one arm. She glances around at the people milling about, many of them looking confused and lost at the prospect of outfitting themselves in fashionable, fancy dressed.]
And though I am no clothes-horse
I know a thing or two.
[She let the clothing slide off her, but instead of falling to the floor it seems to catch itself in midair, wrapped in a golden light. Celestia paces across the aisle, plucking a tie off of a rack to send it up into the air to join the suit as it unfolds itself from its hanger.]
So come here, everypony
Who isn't in the know.
Because I have a trick to help you
So please join my...
[Pretty much the entire store's worth of clothing erupts off its hanger, all of it bursting into a swirling frenzy wrought with sunlight, with Celestia at its center. The Princess flings her arms wide, throws her head back, and lets full-throated song vibrate through every molecule of air.]
Fashion show!
[A brass band erupts out of nowhere, trumpets and horns blaring as the lights click off and plunge the sales floor into darkness. With a sharp click, twin spotlights illuminate Celestia, who motions grandly into the shadows.]
It may seem all confusing
But be it understood:
Fashion's all a matter
Of finding what looks good!
[Several mannequins clatter in, each dressed in a different outfit as they march along to the beat, forming a broad circle around Celestia as she sings.]
You needn't look too fancy!
But you must have your pride.
For what you wear upon you
Reflects what is inside!
[Two mannequins swoop in, twisting around Celestia in a narrow tango that obscures her completely; she spins out of it, a broad dress swirling around her legs.]
A fancy ballgown amplifies
Your every move, that's no surprise
[Three more mannequins leap in, rise up, then scatter as Celestia smooths a shapely number over her hips, then turns slightly with one leg cocked.]
A slender number shows your form
But isn't best to keep you warm.
[One mannequin just -- freaking tackles Celestia, except that she spins with it, shoulders-throws it, and comes up wearing the suit that had been on it. IT'S A MUSICAL NUMBER FROM A MAGIC PONY, THESE THINGS HAPPEN.]
A suit might suit but don't forget
You have got to check the fit!
[She snaps her fingers, and the shoulders and legs of the suit abruptly and dramatically tighten to better emphasize her form. With a twist of a hand, she dons a hat out of nowhere.]
So many options! Choices galore!
Tell me, what are you looking for?
[...This is where more spotlights abruptly snap on to whoever nearby looks the most lost and in need of her aid.]
[Whoever told Princess Celestia she should relax and cut loose a little more needs to have their head examined.]

[ For someone who dresses professionally nearly everyday, a basic clean suit isn't going to be enough for the event. Trouble is, formal in Victorian Era times seems to be a bit different than today's standards. William was only just getting used to the more casual clothing found in stores today. So, taking the advice of others, his first stop will be Paris. He'll look a bit lost as he wanders some of the large malls in the region, not quite familiar enough with any of the stores to know where to begin. It also doesn't help that his knowledge of the French language is minimal, at best. ]
London
[ Still contemplating the clothing options that the malls of Paris had provided him with, William decides to head somewhere a bit more familiar: London. It is where he lived, after all, in both his mortal and afterlife. Back then, there were a few local shops where he would find his attire for both work and home life, as well as a choice tailor he would bring his items to to be perfectly fitted to himself. That was over 200 years ago, however, so none of them would be expected to remain in business, but the familiarity with the area gave William more confidence that he'd find something to his liking.
He'll be found browsing Jermyn Street, where they, surprisingly, have some shops that still dabble in classic men's wear. ]
London because where the heck else should he go?!
And that was where he was before spotting a familiar figure down the street. ]
S'not what it used to be, eh, Mister Spears?
[ That is what William would hear as he walks down the street, right behind him. His junior still sounds positive though there may be a hint of homesickness that punctuates the end of the sentence. Noel's keeping pace, trotting up next to his god and nodding a greeting to the senior reaper before rushing to take his god's hand. ]
Come to find something for the banquet?

[As ever, Celty stands out a bit on her shopping trip in her biker duds and her helmet....and yet the style is fashionable in its own way and nobody gives her a second glance even with the fleeting effect the denizens of the Far Shore have about them.
Or maybe it's because she's clearly a foreigner and this is France that they don't deign to give her much attention.
But a city girl at absent heart, Celty maneuvers her way through the shopping crowd simply enough. She stops in front of certain windows, trying to imagine herself in different outfits, but she keeps moving along, unable to settle on anything.]
Changing rooms
[Perhaps it's a bit too soon to call it a rumor? Perhaps just gossip? But as the day goes on there's whispers and murmurs in a certain store.
'A strange woman in the changing rooms' 'Perhaps it's a ghost' '...couldn't see her face'
In the changing area, near the back, there is a woman in an old style dress. Not a French design to be sure but certainly not from this century either. It's hard to get a good read on her though. She's wearing a hood even though she's indoors, and in the reflection of the mirror she's facing it's impossible to make out any features. Just the inky blackness of the shadow beneath the cloth.]
Shopping
[It's been a while, Celty.
The small god lands beside her, though he looks a bit out of place being here in general as well.]

I. Shopping
A
[One might find Alan looking over suits for himself. He seems to be favoring softer colors - gentle soothing greys, light cream, beige, faded sand like tans. Already he has a selection of ties - these also softer colors each a floral pattern, some more delicate and intricate than others but it's clear Alan knows what he wants.
He'd actually been tempted to go in a dress but he wasn't certain that he should. He isn't like Grell who is simply a woman with a body that is different - not wrong, not mismatched but different. To Alan, Grell had never not been a woman. But Alan wasn't like that - he just thought dresses were pretty and comfortable - he didn't feel he was a woman just feminine. But the notion of wearing a dress around so many strangers that he would in fact see again made him stay away from that idea.]
B
[Alan isn't sure how many times he will be afforded this chance so he's going to take advantage of it. Happily, Alan will wander his way through the city. Why yes he's purchasing some confections as well as some tea to take home. He might even purchase some seeds for his garden.]
II. Rest
[ Of course the god is getting some old fashioned fish and chips. Yes, they're wrapped in newspaper but he doesn't mind. It's almost exactly like when he was a young reaper. After a leasurely stroll through Kensington Gardens Alan is likely to be found perching on a bench overlooking the water foutains, with his newspaper wrapped meal on the go in hand and shopping at his feet.]
[Paris]
[Coming to Paris is more of a lark than anything else. As a member of the London Branch of Dispatch the was never much call to go to Paris - let along France. He wants to sight see. Explore. He'd always wanted to come to Paris, see the Eiffel Tower, see the city as a sea of lights - walk along the Seine, see Notre-Dame Cathedral up close. Alan is every bit the tourist.]
[Castiel Only]
[Chuckling warmly he's shaking his head at his Shinki.]
Castiel, you can't go to the party in that. Let's go shopping.
[Extending his hand to the angel he smiles clearly gleeful at the prospect of taking him shopping. Dressing his Shinki up in a proper suit, Alan is certain he would look dapper and amazing.]
Where do you want to go? Paris? London? Milan?
[Wildcard]
[Feel free to throw something else at me.]
Paris
This is great.

[Really, it's probably a mystery as to how Chikusa has ended up here. This is the guy who has determinedly not worn fancy clothing of any kind to any sort of event, save for Tanabata where he wore one of Orihime's handmade yukata. Does this guy even care about fashion?]
[As it turns out.... Yes.]
[Even for a guy who turned up to Paris in a cream colord Mohawk beanie, well, he's not entirely out of place. For all that Chikusa is a huge nerd, beanies are still something that can be thought of as fashionable to perfectly normal people. A large pile of beanies is gathered in a bag at his feet, and he's slowly going over a seafoam green beanie that's caught his eye.]
[Anyone who happens to pass by, even if they didn't stop to stare at the hoard that is at his feet, will get treated to a point blank stare. What, gonna say something?]
B - R&R
[Pay no mind to the shitty teenager in line at a crepe stand pickpocketing someone else and then settling in line.... Pay no mind at all...]
[...At least he's paying for food instead of stealing it?]

[Being brought along with Hibiki for shopping is always a delight, for numerous reasons. There's the clothes, the glamour, the entertainment value of watching Hibiki be Hibiki... Wendy always takes the time to enjoy herself. Now that they're going shopping for a big important banquet, well, she's having even more fun.]
[Still... Clad in a blue coord, Wendy stands on the tips of her toes as she looks up at what's on display in a store window. It's a pure white dress, the body meant to cling with a flowing overskirt and translucent fluttering sleeves.]
Ah... I'm so jealous of the kind of ladies who can wear these...
[She can't, after all. For obvious reasons.]
B - Shopping v2
[Of course... It doesn't take her long before she realizes that there are more gods and shinki in Paris than usual. Unlike her god, Wendy reacts much differently.]
[In other words...]
So is that what you've settled on?
[Enjoy the small girl suddenly at your side, inspecting whatever it is you've chosen or decided to try on.]

[On one hand, Garry rather likes the kimono he'd managed to get before. It's pretty stylish, if he says so himself. On the other hand, well.... Awkward memories now lie with it. It might be for the best to let it lay in storage for a little while.]
[So, well, after hearing about all this... He's shown up as well. His outfit for this outing is pretty relaxed- a sweatshirt that blends darker to lighter as it goes down, a black skirt that barely peeks out from it, leggings, and ankle high boots. Casual stuff, really, which contrasts pretty sharply with the clothes he's looking at. It ranges from corset-like menswear to beautiful wispy dresses. Really, he can be found anywhere, especially since he's shopping for two.]
[Whenever he sees someone from the Far Shore, he pauses and waves with a smile.]
See anything you like yet? It looks like a lot of us are around.
B - R&R
Well, I guess I shouldn't complain...
[The people at the crepe place had been very understanding, after all, when they'd remembered he existed (with some reminders). In fact, so understanding that they've given him two. Still... Blinking down at his now full hands, Garry wonders if he can really eat any of this...]
[Seeing a fellow Far Shore shopper nearby, he raises a crepe-filled hand.]
Oh, hey! Do you want this? I got an extra.

[Dean had texted Hannah. Like he had any idea how to dress fancy. The fanciest he'd ever gotten was on a case. He's got a feeling that office business wear isn't what they're aiming for with a formal event. So Hannah was his go to. She seemed just the right blend of getting with the times and aware of what was expected at this kind of thing. Then again he's the kind of guy that wears the same kind of rough and tumble stuff. Maybe a little change would be welcome.
He's pacing as he waits for her, raking his fingers through his hair with a heavy sigh. He didn't know what to make of these formal shindigs. He didn't know what to do at that kind of thing. He knows there'll be wine or something. There'll be dancing he guesses. Maybe he'll just hang back and be a wall flower.]
[Lawrence, Kansas]
[There's no one here he knows but it's familiar ground. It didn't matter anyway. He didn't expect to find anyone he knew. This place was some kind of alternate universe and Dean's accepted that. No skin off of his nose. He's hunkering down in a booth.
There's a double bacon cheese burger with a mountain of chili cheese fries there and a vanilla shake in front of him. He's rubbing his hands together before picking up his burger and biting into it happily. Green eyes closing in bliss he's just going to bask in the greasy fatty almost as good as homemade heaven that was The Burger Stand's food.]
London
You almost look nervous, Dean.
[ Is it because you can't wear some combination of leather, flannel or jeans? Honestly, she's a little amused at the pacing. ]

I. Shopping
A
[Adrien didn't know what to make of it all. A formal party? His brows came together. He can't recall ever being to any of them. Though he's pretty sure his standard outfit isn't going to cut it. So he's looking around in the junior men's department and he might have pulled a few things.
But what he's got in his arms are riots of bright colors none of which go together. In a word - Adrien is a mess. Newsflash Paris! Adrien Agreste, famous model and son of the hot ticket fashion mogul Gabriel Agreste, is an out-of-this-world fashion disaster!]
B
[Or he is at least when it comes to dressing himself. Adrien finds himself looking over accessories. He's good at this kind of thing. So he's looking at cuff links, tie clips, lapel pins, watches, ties...
He's waiting on his goddess who'd taken one look at the mess in his arms and gone pale, shook her head and walked off into the junior men's section with a determination in her eyes that make Adrien a bit nervous.]
II. Sight Seeing
[Adrien is bright eyed moving down the streets. Paris is a riot of sights and sounds that tug at some part of him. Some of the path and streets feel natural; navigating is as natural to him as breathing. He doesn't question. Doesn't push. He found out what happens when he pushes - headaches.
And knowing that Marinette shared his feelings - he assumes pain falls in the vein - he doesn't want to cause her any harm. She's his goddess and she's been kind to him. Absently his thumb rubs against the mark on his opposite wrist; a warm smile tugging at his lips. So he's settling for sight seeing: The Eiffel, the Cathedral, the museum with it's paints and statues.]
III. Marinette Only
[The blond's eyes widened as Marinette handed him the clothes to try on.] Are you sure about this? Uh.. okay I guess. I mean I trust you. [He'd stammered before vanishing into the fitting room.]
[There are the sounds of shuffling and moving around then Adrien is peeking out - stepping forward in the suit. It's a bit big but if they went a size down it would likely be too small so Marinette may have to make alterations on the fly. The dark coat is undone showing off the brocade silver vest. The tie is under the collar of his shirt but untied. Though it's wrinkled slightly as if he's attempted to tie it but had been unable to do up the silk into a proper knot.]
[Wild Card]
[Hit me up with whatever.]
Shopping montage~
[It had been just a little surprising to learn that her long-time crush, son of famous fashion mogul Gabriel Agreste, had no actual idea what he was doing when it came to dressing himself. Marinette couldn't even think of a word to properly describe what she was feeling about that. But that was okay! Because he had her now, and it was going to be okay. Everything was going to be okay.
She'd been content, at first, to follow him through the store. In the interest of letting the boy pick his own clothing, she'd remained silent as he'd grabbed things all willy-nilly, with no regard for color or pattern. It had been a learning experience, to say the least. But then she'd had enough. And so she'd bid him adieu, turned on her heel, and marched right back into the junior mens' section with a new sense of purpose.
Her beloved, gorgeous Adrien had no idea what he was doing, and she would take it upon herself to make sure he looked amazing despite that.
That had been awhile ago, though. Now, she was standing outside the changing rooms waiting for him to come out. She'd managed to find something she thought would look great on him, even if he had seemed a bit skeptical at first.
Eventually, he's peeking out and she's watching expectantly. She realizes that being impatient isn't going to help anything, but she can't help it. When he finally comes out, she's just grinning, even as she's eyeing the suit critically.]
You look great, Adrien.
[Understatement of the century. But whatever. And yes, she'll definitely have to alter the suit a bit. There were more important things to worry about right now, though. She's stepping forward and moving in front of him to fix his tie. It was a little surprising that he'd left it undone, but it wasn't that big a deal.]
Ties are tricky.
[Once she's satisfied with the tie, she's stepping back a few paces to consider him thoughtfully.]
What do you think?

[ Have you ever seen the ridiculous sight of someone wearing what's perfectly normal clothing, like jeans and a t-shirt, to only completely ruin it with bracelets that cover the entire length of the person's forearm? How about a collar that covers and contains most of the neck? That probably isn't the most ridiculous thing, actually.
It's the fact that he's trying to fit his arms through the sleeves of a sweater, or jacket, and trying to get the ridiculous length of hair pulled through the neck hole. He's just trying these on in a store, too. They haven't been bought yet, but they might get a little stretched out from this abuse. ]
I thought these... were supposed to stretch.
[ He'd take the jewelry off, but they're actually valuable. Not personally, but the quality and materials were of some serious grade. Having not known what to expect, and given the loose and exposed clothes he had before, it was a little late to go back on it now.]
Shopping Break
[ There's a handy thing about going to malls, in that there are stores just dedicated to stationary. The reason why that's handy is that there was already a notebook at the temple that was nearing completion and breaks like these were great times to relieve the headache Judar's been slowly adjusting to. Which is why he's taken over one of the larger tables at the food court, sitting comfortably with his legs folded into each other as he was hunched over and writing through these large notebooks, holding his head in his left hand as some kind of support.
It's mostly an organized mess of shapes and symbols, including trigrams, with text that has a smattering of both middle eastern and asian languages. It's because of a particularly large circle with these various writings that has him filling out the notebook with a larger surface area, and while drawing them free-handed it's pretty even in shape. No compass work or tricks with strings needed here.
Yes, this is what he's paying attention do instead of the tray of barely nibbled food that's by his side. The fruit's what has gotten the most eaten from it so far. ]
Shopping Break
[Why is Lavi in Paris? Who knows.
He might've just tagged along with Hibiki at some point after running into Shun. However, he couldn't help but notice the guy learned over a notebook, peering over his shoulder curiously and taking in the shapes, the symbols, and recognizing the languages - though more of the asian language than the middle eastern one.]
Are those...formulas?

[Having only passed by Paris for a prayer or two, Aymeric is not very familiar with the shopping malls nor the general idea of one. Not that he snubs it, just the structure confuses him so and being from a world where they tailor everything in the shop, it's just different for him. A pleasant one, mind you. However, he's not shopping for himself. Instead, he's more focused on the clothing styles for someone younger...like a child.]
Hmmm...
[He keeps looking at his phone then back at the stores, as if he's trying to ponder if its a style the boy would wear...]
B. Breaktime:
[As the day goes on, there is the occasion where Aymeric can be sitting on a bench and partaking in a tea, relaxing. Who knew shopping could suck the energy out of someone? He would not mind company if anyone was interested. He'd be glad for it!]
A
As it is though she not so stealthily drifts behind him, trying to catch a glimpse of what it is he's looking at on his phone, hoping to catch a clue.]

[Kairi is super excited to be looking for a new dress - which isn't common for her - but that's because it's not really about the dress, or accompanying shoes she may get, or jewelry, etc. She's looking for a whole new outfit because Forrest is so into clothes and she wants to surprise him by wearing something amazing that he didn't have to make. On the other hand, that means she's putting a whole lot of pressure on herself for picking out something perfect.
... Then again, she might end up in a suit. Wouldn't that be something for Forrest not to expect?
By all means find her trying on something your character has suggested, or something you think she'd have picked out for herself. Be it a vest, a skirt, a full dress, a bolero to go on top of something else, a pair of shoes, a scarf... whatever you'd like! You can find her near any mirror adjacent to the dressing rooms.]
B. Advice For A Friend
[On the other hand, she could be helping a friend out instead! Before or after she's found an outfit of her own, she's more than happy to help a friend find a cute outfit of their own. Or maybe a handsome outfit. Or a totally weird outfit! She's learned enough from Forrest that something that looks bizarre at first might be totally cool instead.]
C. Egypt Shopping Centers
[As one of Hajime's shinki, Kairi can get someone a ticket to Egypt for shopping purposes. For example, she finds SOHO Shopping Center where there are some very revealing clothes and some others that aren't quite so revealing, but mostly a lot of very colorful stuff. Then there's the usual Western styles too with a bit of flair that's nice.]
D. Egypt Around Town
[This isn't Kairi's first time in Cairo so she's pretty comfortable walking around. On the other hand, she hasn't done a lot of touristy stuff, so she's more than a little excited to walk around with you!]
