What is Resting 101
Who: Izumo and You
When: November 20th-25th
Where: Xihe temple, Double Cross Bar, somewhere on the Far Shore and Near Shore
What: After the events of the forest, Izumo has to rest. The problem is: what is resting? Ft. a special horse.
[A. The Temple of the Sun]
[After the horrors of the forest event, Izumo has been ordered to be on bedrest. While he understands the reason for it, one must not forget:
Izumo hates the idea of resting.
His shinki has a handful with their god and making him believe in resting. Though Izumo has been good, he also gets bored rather easily without something to keep his mind occupied. After all, the idea of lazing around and doing nothing is something that Izumo does not necessarily believe in, even if he does take impromptu trips when he can for one reason or another. He still has some burn marks on his skin from his attempts to defeat the plants that prevented him from leaving, covered up in bandages.
Anyone who decides to come visit Izumo would find him in the rather spacious living room with a notebook laid out on the coffee table in front of him while a movie is playing through the projector screen. However, what probably stands out is the horse casually eating out of a tub beside the couch.
Izumo sends it a look when it snorts.]
Hey, if you have a different movie you want to watch, then feel free to pick it out.
[Basashi snorts again.]
[B. Resting 101
[It’s particularly late at night when Izumo has to actually sneak out of his own temple.
He needs to get away for a bit, which does lead him to either (a) go to Double Cross bar for some much needed late night drinks or (b) he ends up taking Basashi out and watching in bemusement as the Strain turns white and stretching its wings.
Either way, if he gets caught, he’ll just greet the person with a wave while casually smoking a cigarette.]
Yo.

[He's keeping Leo crying a secret. That's a rather personal matter that should not be shared.]
I do not believe it wise to stay in my wine cellar then.

Izumo doesn't respond for a brief moment and then:]
Think we can afford to slip out to a bar somewhere on the Near Shore?
no subject
[Pro of sneaking out: maybe a cure and be less restless. Con of sneaking out: the disappointment of everyone.
Well, they don't need to know.]
Mayhap as long as we know we will not be spotted.
no subject
We'll just need to be careful is all.
[Super careful.]

I know of a place but it is in Germany if you are fine with it.

[And he really will be. Once he's sure Judar isn't going to come in and is involved in his notes somewhere, though he's sure his first shinki will be quick to note his absence.
...Oh, well.
It's not long before Izumo shows up in front of Aymeric's temple.]
no subject
This way. It might be late here but Germany has a different time wavelength.
[He will lead him to the small shrine where a couple hawks are sleeping and strangely, Mandragora is there to see them off. It's fine, he won't tell a soul. With a hand on Izumo's shoulder, Aymeric takes them both into the shrine on the Near Shore where there is a small brewery close by. It looks like there are a few cars and scooters parked by but not the huge crowd like most taverns and pubs would be.]
Well then, let us enjoy our limited freedom.
no subject
[Fortunately, Izumo has been to Germany before and recently, too. Though, this isn't a place he's quite familiar with, so he's happy to let Aymeric take the reins on this one.]
Who knows how much time we have to enjoy this.
no subject
[And a bar is a good place for it? Well they think so as Aymeric leads him inside and the place is rather warm and not like typical dingy bars one would expect not in a urban city. In fact, it looks rather homey with the warm lighting and woods complimenting the room. The bartender looks up and waves to them both, addressing Aymeric as 'Frederick' as he asks for their drink order.]
Two of your House Signatures if you do not mind.
[Start out something that won't kick their ass immediately.]
no subject
[He hasn't seen the little shinki around recently and has been wanting to check up on him, but. His own shinki are mean, Aymeric. One of them sits on him. And Goten doesn't believe in phones.
At the addressed name, he raises an eyebrow, but decides not to ask.]
Have you frequented this place a lot?
no subject
[He knows he's bad but even so!]
You refer to the name the owner spoke of when addressing me, yes? I very well cannot come to the Near Shore and give neither Forseti or mine own; so I chose a name more fitting of the area.
no subject
[It's bad if even Goten has been resting and you aren't.
Izumo nods in understanding.]
It's a nice name to choose.
no subject
[Not that he doesn't do so but Aymeric knows that Izumo visiting would make Goten smile even harder. The boy deserves it.]
Tis nice to not be recognized once in awhile, it makes me cherish the quiet moments much more. [And as he says it, a server comes out with two of those large German style mugs out for them both. Thankfully the men are not the types to get drunk by one beer, right?]
no subject
I'll be sure to bring some gifts for him, too, then. [It feels like it's been forever since he's cooked for Goten.
Izumo grins slightly.]
Especially after everything that's happened.

It still surprises me that it took many of us newcomers vanishing and almost dying for them to do something. [Them being Heaven naturally.] Because I think I may have been in there before moons ago when Sora was still among us; I do not know if it was the same forest as this but I cannot help but wonder now.
no subject
So it did look familiar.
[His lips tugs downwards into a frown.]
I was in there too with Sora, but didn't give it too much thought at the time. If I recall, this is the same forest that keeps appearing every once in a while in the past as well.
no subject
[He's got a theory not about the forest but Heaven itself. Let's just say that his own government kept secrets from the people. Big ones.]
I had hoped that being prepared would help me find everyone...Goten had gone missing and then Lady Yona and then yourself...I could not just sit and do nothing. And it got me nowhere.
no subject
[So no. No one said anything about the forest.]
I can understand that. Though I didn't think cultists would've been involved in this.
no subject
[He kind of wonders how she's doing...]
I do not believe a connection between them but there seems to be a lot of those in this star.
no subject
[Maybe not a connection, but something is suspicious.]
no subject
[This Google has a lot of information so they cannot count it out.]
no subject
[Which is...dangerous really.]
no subject
[Guess who did innocent searches and learned of Rule 34 of the internet once? We will never speak of it.]
