Who: Yuto (
darkdueslist), Hajime (
birdstheword) and Yuya (
phantomforgod). Also maybe Yuuki (
sleepingknight) and Rise (
tofus)?
What: After Yuya returns, Yuto decides to talk to Hajime.
When: April 6.
Where: Hajime's shrine.
Warnings: n/a
Yuto was glad beyond words when he had found Yuya. It was such a relief to see him again, to know that he was safe and sound. It didn't matter that Yuya had no memory of this place or that Yuto didn't understand half the things his twin was saying. Yuto was just happy the other was back. But after the events in the school Yuto begun to wonder what next. He couldn't leave Yuya all alone. The fear that he may loose him yet again had been plaguing his mind ever since. Especially seeing as Yuya had no shinki at all.
That was why he decided to speak with Hajime about this matter. He was hoping she would help him find the solution... Though he could already think of one. He would have to become Yuya's shinki. But just as much as he wanted to watch over Yuya he didn't want to leave Hajime either.
They both meant too much to him.
"Hajime." He called as he knocked on the door to Hajime's room. "I need to talk to you."

You have no shinki and that made me worry. So I decided to talk with Hajime about it, ask her what we can do to help you...
[He pauses for a second, then he sighs a little and looks towards the shrine with a sad look in his eyes.]
...But I already had an idea. And she agreed to it. [He turns to his twin.] Yuya, I will become your shinki.
no subject
Heh...You've always worried too much. [But that's Yuto for you, and that's why Yuya smiles back (albeit in a tense way).]
It seems like you don't want to leave though, and I don't want to take you away from someplace you like, Yuto. [There's a pause before he finally shakes his head.] You don't have to force yourself to be my partner. Besides, I can take care of myself!
[Even if all his other thoughts are screaming to have Yuto back. Yugo and Yuri too. He hates being alone.
But this is what's right.]
no subject
Yuya, you don't understand! I'm not forcing myself to anything - I want to be with you! [He's frowning at the other, but a moment later he lets go of Yuya's hands and takes a step back, almost ashamed of his sudden outburst.
He takes a breath to calm himself and then he explain:]
I will always worry about you. You don't remember it, but I lost you once already and there's no way I'll risk losing you again. [He pauses for a moment and when he continues his voice is softer.] And I don't want you to be all alone either.
[He turns to face the shrine now.]
...Besides, even if I won't be Hajime's shinki anymore, this isn't a goodbye. I can still visit her and I will always help her if she needs it.

[It's a little difficult to process everything at once. First that frenzied declaration, and (no don't let go) a little progress of fitting the pieces together about what happened to the version of him that was hear before. But what really gets him is that last bit before Yuto turns around, and dammit he can feel the prickling behind his eyes as they begin to water up. It all really hits home, and suddenly he feels so tired that he wishes Yuto could step in and take control. That's not going to happen though, so Yuya simply drags down his goggles over his eyes while his counterpart is distracted.]
I guess I can't really argue with any of that. [Even if he's tearing up, he's good at keeping his voice from breaking and there's a grin that's both strained and elated all at once.]
Then...welcome back, Yuto. Let's be partners again!
no subject
But he can't be sad. He'll visit again, after all.
Casting one more glance at the shrine, Yuto turns to Yuya then blinks at the sight of goggles over the other's eyes. That grin looks strained, too. Yuto can't help but wonder if there is something wrong.]
...Yes. Of course. [He responds eventually, then he gives the other a concerned look.]
But... Yuya? Why do you have goggles over your eyes?
no subject
Huh? These? A-ahaha, it's just a little too bright out here for me. My temple is a bit...different.
[That should do for an explanation. His tiny island is naturally foggy, whereas the temple itself is underground.]
no subject
If you say so.
[Then his expression changes, the frown slowly vanishing from it.]
...In any case, I'm glad we'll be together again.
[Again he realizes just how much he's missed Yuya.]
no subject
Heheh, yeah. [He takes a step closer, looping his arm around Yuto's shoulders:] Now all we need to do is find out where Yugo and Yuri are. Then we'll have the team all together again!
[There's a pause though. Before they can think about the future, it's better to focus on the immediate.] By the way, is there any stuff we need to move. I can just teleport it all back to our place. And is there paperwork or something I need to fill out?
no subject
[But that's not the only thing he wants to hear from Yuya.
At the question, Yuto he shakes his head lightly.]
Teleport? Ah, well, I don't really have much things to begin with. Maybe a few clothes, but that's it.
As for what you need to do - there's no paperwork. You just need to name me.
no subject
But wow, he gets to name Yuto? He'll try not to think of anything embarrassing.]
Should we go back in then? Clothes are still important.
no subject
As for getting back for his things...]
I'll go back for them once we're done with this.
[He pauses. Okay, now that he thinks about it he probably should have explained about naming.]
... You do know that shinki have another name - a name that makes them change into their vessel form, right? I have one, too. So you just need to say it as if you're the one giving that name to me.
no subject
Hmmmm...I'm usually good with on-the-spot decisions, but figuring out an important name is completely different. What was your name before?
no subject
At the question, Yuto looks at his arm. The symbol that used to be there is now gone. It vanished when Hajime released him. Yuto puts a hand over that place.]
...It was "Shouki". I had that name when Vector was my god and it was the same when I was with Hajime.
[He's silent for the next moment.]
It's an important name.
no subject
[He really doesn't have to think on it too long, especially with Yuto's comment. If it's an important name, he should have said so to begin with. But again, this is Yuto. He doesn't exactly put out his interests on a regular basis. Good thing he has Yuya to watch out for him.]
I wouldn't want to get rid of an important name anyways.
no subject
Thank you.
[Then he glances at his arm again and sighs a little.]
And I'm sorry for trying to rush you... It just feels strange, you know? To not have a name, when I had it written on my arm for so long.
[He attempts to smile again, but the smile doesn't quite reach his eyes.
Right now, without a name he feels like he doesn't belong anywhere anymore. It's a stupid feeling and he knows about it. After all it's already decided that his place is with Yuya.
Yuto turns around.]
...Maybe I really should get my things now.
no subject
Nah, you're not rushing me. You worry too much-- and stop being so formal! It feels weird. [It just reminds him that he's almost like a stranger to Yuto. Their experiences don't match up.]
Go get 'em, and I'll name you properly once we get to my place.
no subject
...He quickly discards that thought and turns around.]
I'll be back soon.
[And with that he's gone for some time. When he's back he's holding a small bag containing his belongings. There doesn't have too much possessions, but when it comes to thing, he's never felt like he's needed anything in particular anyway.]
no subject
That's so like you. [Only keeping to the bare minimum.
He steps close now, taking Yuto's hand in his own with a bright smile.]
Yuto, I name you Shouki. I'm glad to have you by my side again.
no subject
Hearing that sentence makes a very small smile appear on his face. Now that he thinks about it Yuya knows him much better than Yuto knows himself.
And then Yuya takes his hand and says those words. Yuto wants to squeeze Yuya's hand and tell him that he's glad to be back, but before he ever gets the chance there's a bright light and a moment later Yuto's human form is replaced with that of a black dragon.
Yuto looks down at the other, wondering about his reaction to this.]
