[Closed] It's a Lovely Night
Who: Aymeric and Leo
When: December 5th, evening
Where: The Near Shore, Tokyo
What: Date Night. It happening, folks.
[It took some research, time, and a little trip into the city itself but Aymeric finally managed to get a good idea of what to do for him and his dearest. The idea came to mind when the elezen wanted to accomplish two matters: to be a good man and court Leo properly (as much as they enjoyed their quiet time with books) and a way to thank the man for not only being one of the ones who saved him in the forest but took care of him during his recovery. Patience of a saint sometimes with how many times Aymeric would disobey and not rest at first.
Once he gathered enough information and some ideal spots, he was ready to call Leo and propose his plan. No children or business for them that night, he wanted to make sure both of them (but mainly Leo) could have fun. We’d say wind down but some of the things Aymeric has up his sleeve would not be considered as such. He arrives at Leo’s temple and knocks on the door. Ok so he comes over a lot, it’s still a good thing to do to knock and be polite after all. It’s only when the door opens, he smiles and holds out his hand.]
You look wonderful tonight. Shall we?

...I suppose it is. Truly, it slipped my mind.

There is a small admittance that I grow tired of the constant parties of the Heavens but, as long as I am with those I care about, then that will make me happy. It is what matters to me more than gifts or a large celebration.

[Since having to deal with trees and being kidnapped and held against their will by trees only to celebrate trees is...uh quite possibly scarring and awkward as hell when it just happened?]
Ah well, we can leave the politics out for tonight. This is for us alone.

[Leo leans up for a kiss.]
Just the two of us.

I saw this place while exploring the city and couldn't narrow down where to eat. And so I had the thought of why not all?
[He did say he wanted to do something different for their date after all.]

A good plan. --and I smell coffee. Where...?
[Excuse him, he needs his coffee.]

Oh so that was the cart I passed by before...normally I drink tea, alas it passed my mind the first time.

[Leo is making a beeline for that stall, tugging Aymeric along behind him.]
Tastes better with milk than tea does, too.
no subject
[But coffee tastes weird and bitter!]
...well, if milk will help...
[We all know he's that guy who will add in a lot of sweet stuff. A lot of it.]

When finished, he hands it over to the elezen who slowly brings it to his lips and takes a drink. Not a gulp or a sip but a good size drink to get the flavors. And...]
Oh...this isn't bad...

See?

[Look, his veins will always have tea in them but he wouldn't dismiss coffee...not without a shitton of extra stuff in it.]

[He smiles, taking a sip of his and paying the man before they wander off.]
So, what to eat....
no subject
[There is literally like forty food stands and small sitting areas down here with a lot of choices...]
There are roasted sweet potatoes and yakisoba and taoyaki and pastries in the shape of fish as well as stews and soups...
[Mmmm yakisoba sounds good now...]

[Excuse him as he finds one of the stalls and makes a beeline.]
