[Closed] It's a Lovely Night
Who: Aymeric and Leo
When: December 5th, evening
Where: The Near Shore, Tokyo
What: Date Night. It happening, folks.
[It took some research, time, and a little trip into the city itself but Aymeric finally managed to get a good idea of what to do for him and his dearest. The idea came to mind when the elezen wanted to accomplish two matters: to be a good man and court Leo properly (as much as they enjoyed their quiet time with books) and a way to thank the man for not only being one of the ones who saved him in the forest but took care of him during his recovery. Patience of a saint sometimes with how many times Aymeric would disobey and not rest at first.
Once he gathered enough information and some ideal spots, he was ready to call Leo and propose his plan. No children or business for them that night, he wanted to make sure both of them (but mainly Leo) could have fun. We’d say wind down but some of the things Aymeric has up his sleeve would not be considered as such. He arrives at Leo’s temple and knocks on the door. Ok so he comes over a lot, it’s still a good thing to do to knock and be polite after all. It’s only when the door opens, he smiles and holds out his hand.]
You look wonderful tonight. Shall we?

I look warm, is what you mean. You on the other hand look gorgeous as always.
no subject
Nay, I mean what I say; You will always look as such to me.
[We're lucky that he doesn't start being much more sappy like kissing his hand already. They haven't even gotten out of the Far Shore yet but Aymeric is leading them to the exit temple where they can reach their destination safely.]
I hope you will enjoy this night...you deserve as much.

[Practically did everything except sit on him.]
Not only that but I wished to do something special with you. Something that we can remember.

I can't wait to see what you have planned, then.

[That was his goal and he hopes that this will work as they exit through the shrine and to the brightly lit city of Tokyo. It was right when the sun set and the sky became an inky black, the crowds unknowing of the two gods who had joined them.]
I hope you do not mind this place, I wanted to focus on attractions that are open during the night.
[Like some weirdos in costumes zooming by in tiny carts just now. Maybe later they can do that but not tonight.]
no subject
Oh? Such as?
[Other than "food". Leo assumes "food" is a given.]
no subject
Such as this. Might you ever heard of an Escape Game?

They're rooms designed for people to try to escape from using clues and puzzles within the area. They say that only ten percent of those who played had solved these games and I thought it be a bit of fun as well as a challenge.

[This sounds wonderful]
I'm assuming no use of our powers?
no subject
[That would be a 'no powers' rule.]

When they checked in, the clerk handed each of them a small journal with a pen inside as well as a piece of paper taped to the back cover: letters and their corresponding numbers. And the game they were going to play seems simple enough: the two of them were to be locked in a red room with two doors on one side. The goal was to pick the correct door and escape within the time limit of thirty minutes. Sounds decent.
But it won't be easy: only the key will unlock the door and the room itself didn't appear to have much: only a mirror on a wall and what appears to be a flimsy stool when they enter. Solve the puzzles, find the key, choose the correct door, escape. It'll certainly be a fun time.]
Are you ready?
[The door they enter from closes, being locked behind. No turning back.
Time left: 30 Minutes
Game Start.]

Aymeric in the meantime starts knocking on the walls and tries to hear for any kind of hollowness within. So far, no luck.]

[25 Minutes Remain]
If the mirror cannot move, why don't we take notice of the stool. It cannot hurt to try.

On the bottom of the stool there is a piece of paper taped on, a riddle written down:
'I am as light as a feather but no man can hold me for long.']
Well, did you find anything?
[That isn't the only thing either: the moving of the stool is making some weird clanking sound.]

Yes, yes it is. Huh.

[He takes note of the legs which are a bit wider.]
The legs.
[He checks the bottom pads, seeing one is a bit loose and pops it open. It's correct because a thin flashlight comes tumbling out.]
