Who: Izumo & Fushimi
When: 12/24
Where: Near Shore
What: Prayer #88; A young girl decided to join a gang and worry her parents. Nothing can go wrong, right?
"My young daughter has gone missing! She's been avoiding the family a lot lately, but even this is a bit much to be gone for several days at a time, don't you think? I hope she haven't gotten into anything too serious...
[While it does sound like the usual case of a teenager going awol or through a rebellion phase, Izumo figured he'd check it out, anyway. It doesn't sound like anything that would be too difficult. Really, from the sound of it, it's more like a scouting mission in hopes to find the wayward teenager and her parents just wanted her home.
Well, at least Izumo is familiar with the concept of runaway teens, having adopted some of them himself over the years.
Still, it sounds suspicious enough that he does go check it.
This time, he's just bringing Fushimi along for the ride.]

Tch. Why bring me?
no subject
[And why not?]
I might need your skills, anyway, for whatever might happen.
no subject
[Look, Fushimi knows what he looks like. He knows how he acts. He is really good at being bait for people looking for easy prey. He just also happens to be really good at making them regret every life decision ever.]
no subject
[Izumo appreciates all of his skills.]
no subject
[Because now he's armed to the teeth.]
Well? Where to?
no subject
[And it's about time Munakata did.]
There's been sightings of a few suspicious people hanging in the alleys. Might just be the people we can talk to.
[...."Talk", right....]
no subject
[Fushimi is just giving Izumo that Look he gives people when they are being particularly obtuse.
Or in this case, blatantly lying.]
no subject
[He chuckles.]
Apparently our wayward teen found herself in a gang.
no subject
no subject
[And they kind of need to talk to the girl.]
You can at least keep a level head.
no subject
[Point. Fushimi shoves his hands in his pockets and nods as if to say "lead on"]
no subject
So, Izumo leads on, turning into an alley. However, just by taking a step in, there's already a few guys coming to greet them, and none of them are particularly looking happy.
Izumo smiles.]
Hello there.
[....But at the sound of his voice, the men immediately suddenly becomes still and shoots straight up, backs straight with some hint in their eyes.]
W-What are you doing here?!
no subject
[Another Look. What did you do.]
no subject
[He shrugs. He couldn't let drugs be traded around the city, could he?
But he turns to the men.]
Relax, we only wanted to ask you something.
[The men looks wary before the self-proclaimed leader steps up.]
Ask about what? We haven't done anything recently!
no subject
Fushimi rolls his eyes and digs out his phone, seemingly bored. Shifting to get his phone out meant he could shift his weight and prepare a few knives without drawing suspicion though.]
Define "recently."
no subject
[That earns Izumo's interest.]
What other gang?
[The man shrugs.]
Some weird gang that's been forming around lately. Word has it they just recruited a girl into their ranks. They tried to recruit us, too, saying that we'll be filled with "good luck" or whatever if we join them.

[Izumo flashes them a smile, causing the leader to swallow.]
Uh, last I heard, there's some kind of meeting in the back alley behind that bakery on the corner!
no subject
[Izumo is being scary, so that means Fushimi is going to lean into the instability a little bit. Just to make it worse.]
no subject
[The men pales.]
And you're free to use whatever method you'd like as well.
no subject
Let's go.
no subject
[A merry wave before he begins walking to where the men told them about.]
no subject
Tch. You have too much fun encouraging me.
no subject
It isn't so bad to encourage you once in a while. I'm sure you wouldn't mind letting loose either.
no subject
[This is what you're encouraging, Izumo. Remember that.]
Or near murder.
