Peace on earth, goodwill to men (and gods) [OTA]
Who: Nephenee and YOU
December 25th. The day many denizens of the Near Shore exchanged gifts, gift many times they'd braved crowds and traffic to get. The people of Greece celebrated in their own special way, as did the Japanese (and she had yet to understand why fried chicken was so popular). For others, it meant celebrating the birth of one they believed to be their savior. For others, it was more a time for gift giving and merrymaking. And to the cynics, it was too commercialized for their liking. But for Nephenee, who had only recently learned of the holiday, it was a day of wishing for peace and hope and trying to give that to others. To someone who heard she had spent a good chunk of her adult and teen life as a soldier, that might have sounded odd, but as a technical pacifist, she yearned for that peace. She didn't want people to have to fight, and never wanted others to be without hope as she had been once upon a time.
To that effect, Nephenee (and a bribed Varian and Anemone) had been working hard on things for the denizens of the heavens. There were certainly some personalized gifts for the few she'd grown close to, but there were many more that were a bit more generic. She was vowing to work on that this coming year...it couldn't be said that a goddess of agriculture and war and such was shy!...ok maybe it could, but she'd try to overcome it anyway, and this was a step towards that.
On this day, when she'd finished her chores and the last few touches on things, she put the last touches on her bunny sled: all the bunnies had little fake antlers on their heads and bells on their collars, there were some shiny balls on the rails, and a bright red ribbon on the sack. The goddess herself was wearing an attractive dark red dress that managed to not clash with her hair, and a Santa hat that perhaps was pulled a little lower than it would be on a normal person without shyness issues. It's pretty hard to not notice her, all things considered, as she races from temple to temple in the snow looking like Christmas personified with the red and green and jingling...
What will you do when greeted with this spectacle, Far Shore inhabitants?

He hears bells and goes to investigate. His mouth drops open at the sight of the bunnies with antlers. They are so cute!
"Hello!" He grins and waves, to the bunnies and to the goddess that was with them.

"Are you giving our presents to your friends too?"

"Don't think we've met, Ah'm Nephenee." Despite her shyness, she put out a hand for him to shake.

His eyes return to the giant bunnies for a moment and he smiled.
