Take care of those you call your own [Semi-open]
Who: Temple Serapis + Extended CR
When: February 14th, afternoon through evening.
Where: Serapis' Temple
What: A dinner for these losers who don't have Valentine's day dates.
Pre-Dinner
[Keith isn't expecting this to be a particularly large event, considering the holiday. Surely there are plenty of people indulging in dates or monster-slaying through the day, but with no particular affinity to the former, and Shiro being gone for the day to make the latter more difficult, Keith wants to do something as a show of... "celebration," as it were.
So, a meal it is.
Anyone particularly close to him is likely to receive a text message reading along the lines of 'Dinner tonight, if you're interested. Serapis temple, bring a friend or two if you want.' Showing up early will net visitors... well, pretty much free-reign over exploring the temple itself. If you're invited, you're being trusted not to make a mess out of anything! It's a pretty large temple, so there's plenty of space to roam around and a multitude of rooms to be exploring. There's a training room, if you want to work up an appetite that way! Or go hang out at the indoor pool, but maybe that won't be much fun if you didn't have the foresight to bring a swimsuit. The lounge area is pretty cozy, and a good enough place to strike up a conversation with whoever might be relaxing there as well. Going deep enough into the temple will probably let you stumble upon the Red Lion settled in its hangar, neat!
Of course, if you're the type who just wants to just hang out with one of the animals living here, there are a number of fairly friendly and completely normal cats, as well as one large, blue, much less normal wolf who are more than willing to accept any and all attention directed their way.]
Dinner
[While the goal is for a relatively small gathering, Keith still isn't taking any chances as far as making 'just enough' food for the night, so while the menu isn't terribly varied, there is at least enough for everyone to come back for seconds of pretty much everything, should they be interested.
To keep with a more laid-back and causal atmosphere, the meal is largely self-serve. There's a large pot of mild curry left simmering gently at the stove to take from, a stir-fry consisting of chicken and various vegetables, as well as a frankly ridiculous amount of rice to pair with it all. There are a number of different canned sodas and juices to drink, and through the evening, Keith makes an effort to make sure there's fresh coffee available (it goes great with the curry, he insists).
It's literally impossible to try and keep any of the animals out of the dinning areas, though, so don't be surprised if you find yourself with one of the critters vying for a bite or two or three of your meal. The wolf takes big bites, maybe stay away from feeding him too much.]
After Dinner
[For all his efforts, however, Keith is... not really much of a party planner. This wasn't even really a party in the first place, but visitors are allowed to stick around to chat for as long as they'd like. Got some idea for a game they could scrape together on the fly? There should be enough people to rope in for a game of charades, or maybe someone had the smart idea to bring a deck of cards with them. The only limit is your imagination...! Unless you're game for a few rounds in the temple's invisible maze, though that might be a pretty frustrating way to cap off the night.
On the other hand, anyone coming back from a date/ayakashi hunt should be able to find themselves with some still-warm leftovers to pick at, if they worked up an appetite or found their own dinners to be less filling than desired.]

[Roxas couldn't make it earlier than now. His own god had plans, and as soon as he could escape, he did. Not that Roxas didn't like Hak. He would just rather be with people he could call friends. Like Keith. And all the animals at the Serapis temple.
Curry isn't something that Roxas finds he's ever had, and the stir fry is good. He has his own dinner partner, a giant orange cat, begging for scraps. Anyone who sits near the blond will get a big smile.]
This is all really good!
[After Dinner]
[Cards weren't his thing, and he doesn't understand charades. Roxas is.... "lost" in the maze instead. He might need some help getting out since he keeps running face first into walls. Help?
And when cards do interest him, it's to make as big of a tower as he can out of them. Looks like fun. Want to knock it over or help out?]
[Wildcard]
[Throwing anything this boys way, even if it's just a chocolate exchange! He's brought plenty!]
no subject
Keith's definitely glad to see that he was able to make it, though even if he had been kept busy, he surely would have been able to tuck away some leftovers for him to eat sometime later. When Keith's certain that he can finally take his leave of the kitchen and check in with everyone who showed up, Roxas is definitely one of the first people he wants to see.]
Yeah? [Ah, and it seems like he's enjoying everything. That's good. If Jellybean's okay with being bothered from his attempts to be fed, Keith will give him a couple appreciative pets.] Looks like your friend here approves, too.
no subject
Jellybean does not mind the petting at all. He loves attention. And he loves the food.] Yeah. Jellybean really loves chicken, and he eats the vegetables I don't like.
[A strange cat overall.]
no subject
Just as long as he doesn't eat too much or have something that makes him sick... [He is... admittedly not really up-to-par when it comes to what animals should and shouldn't be eating, but that probably won't be a problem. Probably.]
no subject
I don't give him anything with spices or onions. Or grapes. Those things will make him sick. [Yes, he's studied up on what his companion can and can't eat.]
I don't give your puppy anything he can't have either.
no subject
Good to know you've done your homework. [Thank goodness for that! The cats surely appreciate it as well.] And, you know, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he could eat things normal wolves don't. He seems pretty content with getting meat as a treat, though.
[Lots of tasty meat!!]
no subject
SINCE WHEN]
Y-Yeah... meat's good for them.
no subject
They're relying on us to take care of them, so they deserve to be taken care of well. [It's just nice to see someone take an interest in actually figuring this stuff out first instead of winging it, he knows he'd feel awful if something he did got one of the cats or The Good Boy sick.] I'm sure Jellybean appreciates the consideration.
no subject
LOOK
He's a dumb little shinki, okay?]
He does, and so do the other cats I come across. They're all really happy and healthy now. Some of the strays used to be so skinny till I started taking care of them!

[Pidge doesn't mind talking to new people. Part of being a Paladin of Voltron was doing just that. She just also happens to be carrying around a laptop so when there's a break between social courtesies, she can get some work done. What work? Just finding out what she can about this world they live in. Maybe she'll talk about it if asked.]
[Dinner]
[Okay. So Keith can cook. Not as good as Hunk, but it's still edible, and that's not something even Pidge can fault. She'll be one of those people feeding the animals bits of food she knows is safe for them, especially Kosmo. He gets the most treats even if she claims she's "allergic" to him. Other than fattening up the animals, there's a small stack of cards near here that have names on them. Maybe there's one for you?]
[After Dinner]
[Never fear! Pidge has brought a TV and a game system with her for some multiplayer fun! There's racing games, party games, and anything else one can think of that requires multiple players.
Challenge her to a game?]
After Dinner
What all did you bring along?
[Racing games? Fighting games? Maybe... something he'll want to give a shot? Who knows...!]
no subject
[Her games are all in a box, with their spines facing up so they are easy to read.]
Since you're the host, you get first choice.
no subject
What's Spy vs. Spy like?
[With a name like that, he can imagine, but honestly, who knows with video games. Either way, it could be pretty fun to at least give it a shot.]
no subject
It's a two player game where both people are spies who are trying to kill each other to see who is the superior spy.
[It's a rather violent and fast paced game.]
no subject
Sounds interesting. [If nothing else, anyway.] Let's give it a shot?
[What's the worst that could happen]
no subject
She hands him a controller.] You're the whine one, and I'm black.

[Stress baking has been a thing for her for quite some time. And while she has plans for most of the day, Marinette is still the type to want to do something nice for her friends. Or most people she's met.
So she makes it a point to drop off a couple small boxes of cute heart macarons in honor of the holiday. There are also a couple small boxes of classic macarons, sitting atop the other two, with a note:
Happy Valentine's Day. ~M]
no subject
Well, at least he now has something to offer up as far as desserts go. What kind of Valentine's dinner doesn't include some kind of sweets, anyway? And even Keith can't deny it, these are awfully cute little treats, they look well made and everything.
'M' isn't a terribly clear indicator of who may have left these, but... stylishly made sweets does conjure up a guess in Keith's mind. And, as such, Marinette will receive a text notifying her of the planned dinner, with the addition of:]
If you're going to be busy all day, let me know and I can put some leftovers away for you to pick up later, if you want.
[Yeah... yeah, that's a good trade-off, he figures. Nice.]
no subject
Not sure if I'm going to be busy all day, but I can definitely try to stop in at some point! Let me know if you need more desserts~
