[ Satoshi didn’t mind is vessel form; actually, it was a lot of fun to run around as fast as he could and people didn’t seem to mind him too much. So there he was, running through the brush and underneath anything he could fit under to find out information for Ayumu. She asked him to do it and she probably wasn’t too far away. However, being a bright yellow mouse-like creature (sans hat) probably wasn’t the most incognito thing he could be…

Needless to say it shouldn’t be to hard to see this “kid” eavesdropping.]

B; Closed to Ayumu

[ Answering prayers was slowly becoming Satoshi’s favorite thing to do. He really enjoyed hanging out with Ayumu, but he also liked experiencing different things and helping others. It was nice to know they could affect change in such a way!

Looking over to Ayumu excitedly, he grinned. ]

[Ayumu leaned over to take the locket out of his mouth, inspecting it carefully.]

It looks like more than just the chain broke. Find anything else?

[ Satoshi hurried back under and dug around, getting quite muddy before he found the rest of the change and part of the hook of the locket. He came back out and gave that part to her too. ]

[kagenonadeshiko]

[Ayumu bent over to take that from him as well. She spreads the pieces of the locket out across her palm, examining them closely. As far as she can tell, it looks like it's all here.]

I think that's all the pieces. Do you think we should see about repairing it first? Or should we give it back to her like this?

[gekkodaze]

I think we should try to repair it. It'd mean more if we tried, at least!

[kagenonadeshiko]

[Ayumu smiles. She'd been thinking the same thing.]

Do you know much about fixing these? I'm not sure how to put it together.

[There's a brief pause before she adds:]

Want me to change you back yet or do you wanna run around like that a bit longer?

[gekkodaze]

It doesn't matter, but being able to have fingers may help more!

[ Satoshi moved his little paws for emphasis. ]

[kagenonadeshiko]

I'll change you back, then. We might need to get you cleaned up first.

[He is awfully muddy but isn't that common for boys his age?]

Satoshi, revert.

[ Satoshi reverts back and is now not a muddy yellow mouse but a muddy ten year old. He grins up to her and stands up fully, looking at the locket. ]

Let's see, maybe we can find someone to weld it back together?

[kagenonadeshiko]

Hmm. Where do you think we could find such a person?

[Ayumu supposes she could try to do it herself with her fire powers.]

I could try but I might need to practice on some things first.

[It'd be terrible if she just melted the whole thing into a unrecognizable lump.]

[gekkodaze]

[ Satoshi looked at it and tilted his head. He was quiet for a little bit. ]

What if we find out how much it costs to get it fixed, then we give her the money? I don't know if we know anyone who could fix it...

[kagenonadeshiko]

Maybe there's an artisan in the area?

[She means a blacksmith or a jeweller but her vocabulary is failing her at the moment.]

I suppose before anything else, we should clean it off.

[gekkodaze]

Yeah! Let's go back to the temple...I guess I should clean off too...

[kagenonadeshiko]

That sounds like a good idea.

[Ayumu reached over and ruffled his hair affectionately.]

You're a mess, dear. Time to head to a shrine and get you in the bath then!
