Who: Nanako and EVERYONE!
When: Early March
Where: The BRAND NEW Shelter of Nanshe in the Central District
What: Nanako's Temple has moved and gotten a makeover! So this seems the perfect time to have a party and also to watch the blooming cherry blossoms!

[ Nanako's Temple had moved once before, so that in itself wasn't all that surprising, especially after almost an entire year here now. But she hadn't been expecting the Temple to change completely, adding more rooms and more of a homier vibe than the shrine had had before. Parts of it reminded her a little more of what her big brother's temple had felt like when he'd been here, and she's grateful for that, although she's a little worried because there seems to be so many rooms that she keeps finding in so many nooks and crannies. Maybe her temple just goes on forever now?

Either way, the move timed as it is seems like the perfect excuse to throw a big picnic outdoors on the grounds around her temple, which seems perfectly suited to host a large number of her friends over at any given time. And with her temple surrounded by cherry trees, their blossoms full and colorful right now, it makes the setting an inviting little corner to sit an mingle for a while.

The day before, every single temple in the Heavens would have found a carefully-crafted invitation on their doorstep, the words carefully written out in a childish hand, inviting them to a Cherry Blossom Viewing at Nanshe's Shelter. There's even a carefully drawn little map on the back to show them where to go, since Nanako doesn't want anyone getting lost on their way to the new location.

There are blankets laid out in the grass beneath the trees and on the wood and stone patios are little tables and chairs clustered together invitingly. There is food set out on a stretching buffet, the platters somehow never seeming to run low on food. There are decorations strung up along the outside of the temple and around the trees in pink and creams, although some of them certainly look to have been made or put up by decidedly childish hands.

As for the goddess herself, she flits about the party with a bright smile, happy to see everyone who shows up and making sure her friends are having fun, or maybe introducing herself to anyone she hasn't met yet. ]

It is! I'm so happy we have one! I love it. I had one back home, too, and I'd use it a lot when it was cold. But I think it will be more fun to have someone to share one with, too!

[ Crouching beside him, she wraps her arms around her knees and rocks back and forth a bit, grinning happily. ] Yeah! There are lots of really nice people here. I'm glad so many of them could come. Did you get to meet anyone interesting?

[Sora smiles about the kotatsu and he hopes he can share and snuggle with her with this warm table too. She's so sweet. He wants to get to know her more now that they've had time to settle in.]

I think I told you a little about Roxas. He's been really nice to me, I think he's my first friend I've made. There's also Aymeric and he's this really tall god but he's been nice too, he showed me around a lot on my first day. There was a boy named Ren and we got to fight with swords.

[Sora looks a little happy.] I met a girl named Kairi too. She's really nice. I hope we can keep talking.

[He glances to Nanako and tilts his head.] Who would you say I should meet? I'd like to know everyone you know, Nanako.

Oh, yeah! They're really nice! Aymeric is Goten's god and he knows a lot of things, he's really smart! Goten is another shinki but he's a kid like me, too, and he has a cloud that can fly! And a dragon, I think! Roxas and Kairi are good friends too, I think you'll like them! [ Because he did before, after all. ]

Mmmm, who else...? There's Shun-oniichan, he lives next door, in the temple with the scary birds that guard it. He's a little grumpy but don't let that bother you, he's actually really nice and a really good fighter, he's one of the god of fortunes now! And so is Hakkai, his temple is on the other side of ours, he teaches classes at the school and knows lots about everything! And he's really good at cooking, too. Mmmm, two of his shinki are also ones we share - I have them as Nora, which means they have more than one name with more than one god. The older gods don't like that, they think it's bad, but the new gods don't, and my big brother, when he was here, said it would be okay. That's Ken and Chikusa, I don't know if you met them yet. Chikusa always has a hat on, but it's always different. And Ken likes to eat a lot of food!

I'm glad you know so many great friends, Nanako!

[Sora chuckles and nods along with her chattering. He's going to try his hardest to remember all these names but a few of them might slip away. He'll do his best.]

I met Chikusa, he's a little weird if you ask me.

[ Nanako giggles at that. ]

Yeah, he is a little. He can be grumpy sometimes too and not everyone gets along with him, but I like him. And when my shinki kept disappearing all the time, he said he and Ken would stay with me to make sure I was safe.

[That, Sora can be grateful for.]

It's good you had them to look out for you. I hope I don't leave any time soon.

[ Nanako blinks up at him a moment, and then leans in to throw her arms around him in a warm hug. ]

I hope so too. I like having you here with me. You can stay forever.
