Who: Lance & OPEN
When: Late April
What: Settling in, being a nuisance, et cetera.
Where: All over - he’s On The Move.
a; in the far shore
[One of the first thing Lance does, after settling in at Minerva’s temple, is explore the place. He’s sure he’s allowed to - Hifumi won’t mind! And what’s a better way to learn the ropes than to be out there? He wanders through every district, often wearing the distinct armor he woke up with. Sure, he doesn’t know the significance of it, but...it might be a good idea to be protected?
(He has the assumption monsters are common. He might be disappointed, eventually.)
It comes in handy, though, when it comes to exploring the abandoned temples. He clambers up the ruins like a particularly spritely goat, and doesn’t seem to be bothered by all the vines and debris. In fact, if someone runs across him when he’s exploring an old, abandoned temple, they might even hear him laughing like a kid in a candy store.
Otherwise, he’ll just grin and wink at anyone he passes by. Maybe he’ll even throw in a finger gun, if you’re lucky.]
b; in the near shore
Oh, come on.
[Guess who’s in Die Jagd? It’s this guy, and he doesn’t look anywhere near impressed with the surroundings.]
That’s definitely fake. You see this, right? [He says to you, fellow patron.] That looks so cheap - there’s no way that’s real!
[Do you agree with him or not?]
c; wildcard
[Feel free to run into Lance wherever your heart desires! If you want to hash out plans, feel free to poke me at
daintily or on discord at nickknack#8156!]

[Except it...is. Lance can't remember what he did before all of this god and shinki stuff, but it's unlikely he was much of an Indiana Jones.
He'd be really good at being a dashing adventurer, though. He's dashing and loves the thrill of danger!
(Which is a lie. He does not much like danger, but he's also still a child who thinks abandoned places are neat.)]

[With all the curiosity of regular animals, some of the robot goats have started to roll closer to the abandoned temple. That their wheels might catch or they might fall over is clearly not a problem they've considered. Sighing helplessly, Garry follows afte them.]
no subject
Are those...robots?
[????]
no subject
[It takes him a second to respond, in the middle of disloding one of the robogoat's wheels from a ditch. Oh, right, this is... just one of the many weird things which are normal in the Far Shore. Garry nods slightly.]
Yes, apparently. Ah, I'm afraid that they're not mine. They just... like to see me, I suppose?
[He's not an engineer, he has no idea how their mechanical brains work.]
no subject
Weird.]
You're pretty popular, then, if you've got robots clamoring to see you.
[What does that even mean.]
no subject
Well, I suppose helping save them from incoming lava did make a bond.
[That sure is a sentence he just said. Oh, and now they've all gotten distracted because they all want pets too, now. Give him a second.]
no subject
[That doesn't seem very likely to him, but what does Lance know about goats, volcanoes, or robots?]
no subject
[A pause, and he rubs at the bridge of his nose. He needs to not say those sort of things so casually... Although he guesses there's no helping it with how bizarre things can get all the time.]
It's been a couple of months since then, of course... We were, ah, working to clean up everything for quite some time.
no subject
Okay. And here he was making a joke. Geez.]
Huh. Well, I guess eruptions tend to make a mess.
[Which is the understatement of the century.]
...Glad you saved the little guys, though.
no subject
Well, it'd be cruel to have left them behind, right? At least we haven't had that kind of thing happen again. Things here tend to be rather normal. Well, besides all the strange animals....
no subject
Well, yeah, of course it'd be cruel! They're not lava-proof! And as normal as the home of a bunch of gods can be, huh?
[So not very normal at all.]
no subject
[At least that earns a laugh, with Garry directing it into one hand.]
You're not wrong. Have you just been exploring the older ruins so far? There are a lot of really interesting and unique temples owned by current gods so far. While the Central District is easier to locate anything, you'll definitely find a lot of strange places in the others. Even where I live is no exception.
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Seems kind of rude to just wander up in people's houses, and that's what most of the interesting places are.
no subject
[Garry laughs a little, teasing even if he's not technically wrong.]
Well, if you ever stumble onto the temple I live at with my god, please feel free to visit as long as you're careful not to break anything. Well, anything that isn't already broken, I suppose... We don't get many visitors anyway.
no subject
[He sounds more amused than defensive, at least, and he bobs his head.]
Yeah, sure. I ever see you, I'll stop by. It'll be fun!
[When is having visitors not fun?]
oops wrong account
[In that it makes an arch so high that it's more like a climb than a walk to get over it.]
Anyway, be safe, alright? I'm Garry, so do find me if you need any help or get hurt on these things.
no subject
[Because why else would half of it still be destroyed? You gotta fix it.]
But yeah, sure. If anything happens I'll be sure to look for you.
[It's debatable as to whether or not he'll actually do that, but he's not a complete moron.]
no subject
[Apparently god temples just... show up as they are. It's the kind of thing that makes Garry wonder if they could even repair it, or if it would resist all attempts. After all, so much as Garry can figure out, it seems to be something symbolic both of the actual Averruncus and Komaeda himself.]
[...Also, he's pretty sure there's not a construction business in Heaven.]
Take care then, alright?
