Who: Lance & OPEN
When: Late April
What: Settling in, being a nuisance, et cetera.
Where: All over - he’s On The Move.
a; in the far shore
[One of the first thing Lance does, after settling in at Minerva’s temple, is explore the place. He’s sure he’s allowed to - Hifumi won’t mind! And what’s a better way to learn the ropes than to be out there? He wanders through every district, often wearing the distinct armor he woke up with. Sure, he doesn’t know the significance of it, but...it might be a good idea to be protected?
(He has the assumption monsters are common. He might be disappointed, eventually.)
It comes in handy, though, when it comes to exploring the abandoned temples. He clambers up the ruins like a particularly spritely goat, and doesn’t seem to be bothered by all the vines and debris. In fact, if someone runs across him when he’s exploring an old, abandoned temple, they might even hear him laughing like a kid in a candy store.
Otherwise, he’ll just grin and wink at anyone he passes by. Maybe he’ll even throw in a finger gun, if you’re lucky.]
b; in the near shore
Oh, come on.
[Guess who’s in Die Jagd? It’s this guy, and he doesn’t look anywhere near impressed with the surroundings.]
That’s definitely fake. You see this, right? [He says to you, fellow patron.] That looks so cheap - there’s no way that’s real!
[Do you agree with him or not?]
c; wildcard
[Feel free to run into Lance wherever your heart desires! If you want to hash out plans, feel free to poke me at
daintily or on discord at nickknack#8156!]

It never really gets old.
What's definitely familiar, too, is that laugh. Shiro's prepared for it, and for that he's thankful--or he thinks. He knows that Lance is here, he just... hasn't seen him. Shiro isn't sure how to start this out, but he's stood in place long enough, so. ]
You know, if you're not careful, you might hurt yourself.
rip
So when he looks over the man - older, built like a brick shithouse, it's with nothing stopping him from acknowledging The Truth. No shame, no bias, no nothing.]
Maybe if I do, a big strong man like yourself might come save me.
[The truth being he's pretty hot.]
no subject
You know, he's never experienced Loverboy Lance™ himself. Shiro isn't exactly sure how to respond, but. ]
Maybe. Or maybe I'd let you figure it out yourself. Digging yourself out of tough spots builds character.
no subject
I'd rather figure out how to get in your arms.

a!
Nice. Quiet. That's the goal.
There's someone playing around here today. Normally he wouldn't think twice about ignoring it and continuing on his way, but whoever it is has a laugh that sounds so familiar that he can't stop himself from saying something.]
I hope you're not messing around too much in there.
[Whoever 'you' may be.]
no subject
Geez. A mullet, in this day and age?
Lance purses his lips, before raising eyebrow.]
What are you, the fun police?
no subject
[But that aside, Keith practically bristles when Lance appears, suddenly at a loss for how to respond. Lance? Really? Again?
He told himself, if he ever got the chance to talk to him again, he'd try and get off on a better foot, but it looks like there's already a stumble in that plan. Past that, he has absolutely no idea if this is a Lance that remembers him or not. That reaction, it's hardly enough to go on.
Can he salvage this? Let's... let's at least try.]
Some of these abandoned temples can be dangerous. [Nice, even, measured.] You wouldn't want to upset your partner by getting yourself in trouble, would you?

[Does Disney World even exist in this world.]

[Lin Xue Ya isn't exactly the sort to poke around in abandoned temples, mostly because he wears far too much white and they're far too full of dirt and grime. He much prefers nosing around inhabited temples, much to their inhabitants' chagrin. However, he's also not one to pass up checking things out if someone is making this much of a racket.
He'll just be over here where the floor is mostly level.]

The question gets Lance to look over, at least, stopping where he's crouched on a wall. He looks around for a moment, before turning back to face the other man.]
If you're one of those people who thinks rocks are interested, I've found loads.
no subject
[He does at least deign to pick up a bit of rubble from the ground and hold it up. Sometimes you need a prop to make a point.]
On their own, they may be entirely worthless, but there's always a possibility that there might be something to give them value.
[He turns this particular rock back and forth to look at it. It sure is a rock. Well, not every prop is a winner.]

[That means he's not in active jogging clothing, but rather a long breezy sundress with a thin shawl on top. Hey, it's getting to be less chilly weather, so why not wear some of the nicer clothes? He's keeping it fairly relaxed as he escorts the tiny purple goats on wheels crowd around him in around half a dozen in number, pausing when he years... yelling? Laughter?]
[As Lance comes scrambling into view, Garry cups one hand to his mouth.]
You sound like you're having fun!
no subject
Lance looks up from where he's trying to get as high up the ruins as possible - which is perhaps not the smartest thing he's done, but he's wearing some futuristic space armor, so he should be fine! Right? That's how this works?
Either way, if he's not fine, he's already dead so what does it matter?]
Of course! [He's pretty loud,,,] It's not every day you get to explore ruins!
[Well. He guesses it is every day, because these ruins are right smack dab in the middle of some normal, inhabited temples.]
no subject
[Well.]
Are you sure you'll be fine like that? It looks rather dangerous.

prayer 40
They meet at the place, and it's... a festival. Prime territory for lost children. And the kid is there, crying. Shiro can't blame her; she must be terrified. ]
Hey, [ he says softly, kneeling down. ] We're here to help.
no subject
He's also glad that the prayer is what it is. It's something that's simple, but also something that's important. Being a kid, lost and alone, must be pretty scary, and Lance knows he can help.]
Yeah, you don't have to worry about anything. [His voice is soft, and he has a small smile on his face.] Okay?
no subject
Okay. [ She sniffles again. ] Do you know where Mommy and Daddy are?
Not yet, [ Shiro replies, ] but if you tell us what they look like, we'll find them in no time.

As a result, if Kairi comes in for a landing around the area of Hakkai's school and happens to see Lance, well, they're both about to be just as shocked at one another. ]
LANCE?!
[ And she actually tumbles right off the cloud. Thankfully it knows better and flattens near the ground, so she doesn't really get too hurt, just a little dusty from the sudden movements. ]
no subject
It's also pretty startling, because everything was just chill and quiet and then there's a girl yelling his name and he has no idea what's going on.]
Uh. [Play it cool, Lance! Play it cool!] Didn't know I was that popular already.
[Perfect.
But he does walk over, offering her a hand up.]
You okay?
no subject
Oh it is you!
[ She accepts his hand and stands up. ]
I mean, you don't remember me, obviously, but that's okay. My name is Kairi.
[ She really is happy to see him. She's already come to terms with the fact that he didn't remember her from the last time he came back as a shinki. So now, god or shinki, she's resigned that he won't remember her. ]

Y-you're... you're...
[ Is it safe to talk to Lance? He can't remember the rules right now. He had a real bad incident where he almost blighted full to ayakashi because of someone telling him about his past, but that was someone from his own home. Did the same rules apply to a shinki? And he had to assume Lance was a shinki until told otherwise, because it was just that dangerous of an assumption to make, in his book. ]
no subject
There's just empty air there, so nothing really fills him in.
He blinks again.]
I'm...?
[Come on, you're not giving him much to work with, here.]
no subject
[ Names are okay, right? Of course they are. Obviously. But he doesn't want to make Lance an accidental ayakashi. ]
You... don't recognize me do you. Are you a god or a shinki?
