Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[Aw, Sanzo, for god's sake. Hazel sighs, clearly very dismayed by this turn of events, and moves to maybe climb down from this probably expensive and maybe antique table. He doesn't, though - he just takes a seat there, leaning back on one hand and looking at Sanzo.

The man's the very picture of a wet blanket, honestly. Won't even dust...]

Takin' a break. What brings ya my way, Mister Sanzo? Lose somethin'?

[ Hazel, why the fuck? Sanzo makes a short, dismissive noise. ]

Have you seen a wild monkey running through here? Short. Loud. Hungry. [ Hazel probably knew Goku, didn't he? It's something he won't think too hard on. ]

[churchbelle]

[Ew, monkeys. He blinks, totally impassive- but the way his gaze slides off Sanzo to look at the wall next to him for a moment betrays him. Of course he knows Goku, as... odd as that's been, lately.]

You'd've noticed. Besides the dust, this room's well-kept.

[No other mess!]

[ Right. His own focus stays where it's at, generally in Hazel's direction, though his expression grows more shuttered than usual for a brief moment. ]

Worse than that. The damn kid's cleaning everything in sight.

[ And he cheerfully expects help. It's terrible. ]

[Don't laugh, do not laugh, Hazel Grouse do not laugh— he smirks. He can't help that much. But he's quick to lean back a little more where he's perched on the table, waving a hand like that's just so terrible for poor lil Sanzo.

This is totally better than laughing.]

So you're gettin' yourself lost, if I'm understandin' this correctly. I haven't seen hide nor hair of your boy, no.

[ That bastard is mocking him! (Don't mind the fact that it's entirely correct, and mockery is the only solution available.) Sanzo's expression flattens considerably, irritable.

He really only has something ridiculous to pick at, though the temptation to risk getting caught up by Goku is increasing. ] Mine? Tch, I don't want responsibility for him.

[churchbelle]

[Maybe he's mocking him a little... never mind that. It could be worse.]

Well that ain't any of my business, is it? [rare words] Now, I don't mind if ya hang around, but at least look busy.
