Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[The pillows were certainly numerous and there really wasn't any need to have so many of them lying about. Eiji had done his best in helping out with trying to clean out all of the excess pillows, but with how they just kept reappearing no matter what was done.

He had been trying to clean some of the other rooms that, while not completely dirty, did need to be swept a little. It's only when he hears his god muttering did he poke his head out from behind the door frame.]

Ankh?

[By this point, Ankh had fallen into a dialect of Swahili that was about a hundred years old and had basically decided that he was not going to deal with his pillow avalanche without first having some ice cream.

Which could not be found in the fridge or in the other freezer.]

Eiji, where's the ice cream?

[Eiji couldn't understand the dialect of Swahili that his god had fallen into so he was confused as to what Ankh was muttering about. But then Ankh asks him where the ice cream is and his attention focuses on that.]

The ice cream? Did you eat it all already?

[connivingbird]

Did I eat..?

[Ankh stopped. He raised his hand, looked at the Greeed hand, opened his mouth to deny that he did, closed his mouth and then folded his arms across his chest. He doesn't say another word, which probably meant that Eiji was in fact correct.]

[Ah ha. Well, there was the answer to that question. Eiji doesn't keep the exasperation off of his face though.]

You know, if you didn't so much at a time you would have more for later.

[connivingbird]

Tch.

[He tossed his head and looked down at the pillows, giving one a kick before taking a deep breath.]

Let's get rid of these and get some ice cream.

[candothismuch]

All right. Ah, can we make a stop at the clothing store too?

[He asks that as he crouches down to gather up some of the pillows nearest to him.]

Do you need to get something new?

[Of course he does. Ankh was used to Eiji's habits, of how he would go and get his clothing exchanged at the local thrift stores, even though this was actually the first time he asked. Ankh had been hoping to see a bit more of Eiji's personality to surface, and it looked like it was starting. He was relieved.]

Mm. I need some more underwear.

[He had been able to make due with what he had but one of his current pair had gotten torn somehow and that had been terrible. It left him with one less clean pair of underwear for the new day.]

[connivingbird]

Ah, that's right. You got holes in the one.

[He tries not to take notice, but he still totally does. After all, it was Eiji and his stupid underwear. After a while, even he kept an eye of them.]

We'll stop and see about getting more for you.

[candothismuch]

[Oh good. Even if Ankh had said no he would have gone on his own time anyway but this was good too.]

[Ankh raised a shoulder in response. Even if he doesn't say it, he's pretty sure that Eiji knew that he was okay with going to the various stores. He may not remember but he still was pretty good at reading Ankh's silent answers.]

Faster we get this done, the easier it would be to get stuff.
