002 | Tokyo In Trouble
Who: Everyone!
What: Surprise! There's a disaster on the Near Shore.
When: Late at night (February 24, 2016) into mid-afternoon (February 25, 2016)
Where: The Meeting Hall of the Heavens AND various places around Tokyo
Summary: A nice little greeting for the new guests and an unpleasant surprise for the older ones~

A sudden, loud blast of noise persists throughout the entirety of the Heavens. It sounds much like a war horn of ancient times being played at a decibel that is meant to shake the very core of every being within its range. No matter how much you might try to block out the noise, it remains ringing in your ears deafeningly, and somehow you find yourself compelled towards the Meeting Hall - the place where you were first introduced to the Heavens and what you have gotten wrapped up in.
Anyone checking their phones will notice a large, bright red alert flashing at them - 'EMERGENCY! REPORT IMMEDIATELY!' It seems that the Heavens have taken to using modern technology for their messages as well.
Once you have reached the Meeting Hall, you will find that every wall has turned into a sort of television screen, displaying various streets and buildings in Tokyo, everyone one literally crawling with ayakashi both big and small. A voice that you recognize as Amaterasu's - though you would never be able to describe it properly - rings throughout the halls.
"We need your help, brave gods, loyal shinki. A rift the likes of which we have never dealt with has opened on the Near Shore. We must end the ayakashi who are harming our dear followers. Please come to our aid in this time of need."

Meeting Hall
The once garishly decorated Meeting Hall looks very much like the base of operations for an army at war. There are gods gearing up with shinki and man-made gear as well and plenty of gods and shinki saying prayers before they head out to battle. Everything you might need to make yourself feel safe during a fight has been provided, including every type of weaponry. But, of course, only shinki wielded by a god can actually destroy an ayakashi.
Counselling
In the main hallway, there is an innocuous door with a small, nicely written sign that reads "Gentle Counselling". Inside the door is a small room with a few sweetly smiling shinki inside who are willing to listen to your problems and answer any questions you might have. They are also here to help out any gods that are having a hard time dealing with knowing about how their shinki died and any shinki that is having trouble coming to terms with the fact that they are dead.
February 24
The rift that has opened is so vast that there is literally nowhere in Tokyo that you can go without encountering a rampaging group of ayakashi. Everything is utter chaos and there are creatures everywhere for you to fight. Let's just hope that you can get out of this dangerous battlefront mostly unscathed.
February 25
Towards the middle of the day, it will seem that the ayakashi are becoming fewer and further between. Things seem to be calming down a lot, though they are nowhere near normal yet, especially since the rift is taking longer to close than the Heavens would like. Fortunately, no new ayakashi have escaped into the Near Shore from the rift since this morning, due to a barrier that has been placed around it. Still, the ayakashi seem to be really hell-bent on getting away from you all now rather than fighting...

In Summary:
- There are a ton of ayakashi on the Near Shore that need to be destroyed.
- The newbies are getting one hell of a welcome as a result.
- Seek counselling if you need it!
- Go kick some evil ass.
- Comment to the first thread to get a randomly generated number of ayakashi to face.
- Mods will gladly play out any ayakashi interactions where requested.
- Try not to get killed~

[Yuya's telepathic voice is mixed in with a happy, dragon-like screeching sound as he lifts his head up triumphantly. This is horrible news for Vector but the best ever for the red-head. He's even moving around in a little dance, whipping his tail back in forth excitedly.]
I'm a dragon too! I was so worried, but wooh-hoo!!! This is the best!
no subject
[There are no words to express what goes through Vector's head at the sight of his second shinki, which - all things considered - is probably for the best.
He takes a tentative step forward, and just as he finally regains his voice-
Tail whip. It sends the Barian crashing into the wall of the next building and takes at least 2000 points off his life points.]
no subject
...Only to see the red dragon. A few seconds later he also notices Vecor's form crashed into the wall. He takes a few steps towards his god, frowning.]
A-are you alright? [If Vector wasn't a god
and an alien, Yuto would be now concerned if the other's even alive. Then Yuto's gaze falls on the red dragon once more. Yuya is not around. The red dragon looks a little like Yuto's own dragon form... which means...]
...You're Yuya, right?
no subject
UWAH, Vector! Sorry, I didn't mean it! Are you okay?! [Yuya takes up a place next to Yuto and cranes his neck so he can get a closer look. Hope you don't mind a concerned dragon thrusting his face at him.]
I-I'd lend you a hand, but.... [Look at these useless, stubby arms.]
no subject
[Holding his aching head Vector growls and moves to stand up. But the moment he leans forward something inside his upper body moves and he crumbles down on himself, curling his knees close as he squeezes his eyes shut in pain.]
Fuck...! What are you standing here for?! Do your job!!
[He swipes his better arm at them, not at all keen on having them watch him deal with a broken rib or two.]
no subject
[Worry shows clearly in Yuto's glowing eyes. Vector looks like he's in pain. Did he broke something? How can they leave him like this? Will he even be able to fight? Yuto doesn't think so.]
We should get you somewhere safe first.
[Vector can join the fights back when he's not in pain anymore.]
no subject
'Smells good? Smells good!']
Ummm...We better figure out where fast 'cause we have some trouble coming! [There's orange and green giant crabs crawling over the roof towards them. Yuya turns to meet the first that drops down to the ground, actually aiming (this time) to whack it back with his tail.]
no subject
[He forces the rest of his way back up with a smooth move and only rises an eyebrow at the crab that goes flying until it smacks against another wall, similarly to how he had.]
Just keep destroying stuff, I'm sure that'll end doing some good.
[Sarcasm aside, there is enough chaos around that some broken buildings more or less probably didn't matter.
Raising an arm casually in the direction of an ayakashi Vector has a giant hand formed of purple energy pick two more crabs up and crush their limbs before tossing them away carelessly.]
I'll look out for myself.
no subject
dragonspeople who worry about you?Yuto scowls, but pushes his anger aside. There's no time for it now anyway.]
Fine. [He calls to Vector and focuses on the approaching ayakashi. Using his tail he aims at another crab to send it flying at the rest.]
no subject
Sadly, this beat-em-up game with the crabs isn't actually making them disappear. The ones that haven't had their legs horribly maimed keep getting back up and coming at them again.]
...Are these guys invincible?! [Just asking considering the last one he thought he squashed under his foot is standing back up again.] They won't stay down!
[There's a potential threat of being overwhelmed by a pack of crabs.]
no subject
Hmm~? [Alerted by Yuya's cry, he turns his attention on what his dragons are doing.
.....which is apparently playing games.
Feeling the need to slap a hand against his face and drag it down over it growing, Vector fights the words that are on his tongue down with as groan. Was he the only one who had bothered to learn everything he could about this world's mechanics?!]
Guys. Don't play whack a mole with them. You're dragons, not dinosaurs. Blast them!
no subject
...Which isn't going well.
When Vector addresses them, Yuto glances at their god.]
Blast them? [He repeats, as his attention shifts to the crabs.] How? I don't think I can breathe fire.
[He's not that kind of dragon... or at least he thinks so.]
no subject
Yeah! It's not like we can just go 'BLAH' and fire comes ou--OWWWWW! [One of the crabs has managed to clamp onto his tail while he's distracted. Not as bad as broken ribs, but it's surprisingly painful like a bad burn.]
no subject
....Alright, then.
[No use complaining. Springing into action, he leaps onto Yuya's back. Holding onto one of the Spikes that seem to be there for no other reason than a handrail, VEctor raises his bad hand and focuses his power.
Bang!
The energy bullet was a lot smaller then the previous time he has used it and hits the crab right in the eye. Taking aim again, Vector blasts half of the pincer off too.]
Fall back and herd them together, I'll take care of the rest!
no subject
It's not like you paid for them anyway.]You're okay, Yuya? [Yuto calls to his twin with concern evident in his voice. Getting your tail clamped by a crab has to hurt. And those are not even normal crabs! Hopefully, Yuya will be okay.
As for the other one...
Yeah, getting your ribs broken is a lot. Yuto casts a worried glance towards Vector, but ultimately decides (albeit with some reluctance) to trust their god. They can't do much more in this situation anyway. And so, Yuto does as he is told and tries to get the crabs together so Vector could blast them with his energy bullets more easily.]
no subject
Sorry, Yuto, you'll have to round up those crabs on your own. Yuya will stand there awkwardly unless he has to move away from some incoming crabs.
Although, it might seem a bit strange that the longer Vector holds onto Yuya, a dim light in the dragon's chest gem glows brighter. (Should he mention that he feels like he has to burp? That sounds too stupid.)]
no subject
So that's why they were so cheap.Vector notices Yuya's awkwardness a couple of minutes in, during which he is busy tossing searing lights at the enemies Yuto ushers into his line of fire. It's frustrating to know that he can't kill them for real, but as things are he'll just have to at least render them unable to move until his shinkis have figured themselves out somehow.]
Well done, Yuto! Yuya... [The hand on his spine shifts, brushing over it as Vector adjusts his hold.] Are you okay? If you can you should try to move.
no subject
Dammit. [He hisses under his breath.
Vector is not the only one, Yuto is also getting frustrated with their current situation. He glares at the crabs feeling anger running trough him... or maybe it's not anger?
Unbeknownst to Yuto, small sparks of electricity start running through his wings.]
