OPEN?? ISH??
What: A catch-all post for various things I have planned
When: April 22nd (and maybe other dates if more stuff comes up)
Where: Various places
Warnings: None yet!
Closed to Tsuzuki
- [It's only been two days, and Jae-Ha's feelings have only gotten more complicated. He waits for Tsuzuki at the door, not wanting to be so rude as to start drinking without him. Sending a simple text seems the best way to call him over, with god abilities as they are...]
I'm here now! ♥
[This was good in many ways, he thinks. Not only will he get to speak with Tsuzuki about this issue, but he'll be able to check on him, as well. He's been wondering how he's doing...]
Closed to Ukoku
- [Jae-Ha's arms may be filled with bags of gardening supplies, but that doesn't stop him from soaring. He often likes to take the longer route home just to feel the breeze in his hair and watch the people below. In this particular instance, he happens to recognize one of the faces below. By now, he'd learned a few things from Hazel about this man, but it was nothing informative, really, so that just made him more curious.
He changes his direction and drops out of the sky in a rush of wind, landing elegantly a few feet away from Ukoku. As he stands, he flips his ponytail back over his shoulder with the bag still hung around his arm.]
Hello, Ni!
Closed to Hazel
- [After his small distraction, he's finally able to make it back to Hazel's temple. As usual, he lands in the yard and walks up to the door (the door, thankfully), but this time he calls out to Hazel without entering.]
I'm baaaaack. [He raps his knuckles against the door in a few knocks and then steps back off of the porch with his bags of supplies. He's busy taking out the various seeds or plants he's brought, but most notably is a fully grown chrysanthemum in his hand. He'll pester Hazel with more calling out to him if he doesn't come out immediately.]
OPEN?? ISH??
- [IF ANYONE WANTS TO DO ANYTHING feel free to spot Jae-Ha jumping around!! Or hit me up.]
#first
He's upstairs when Jae-Ha returns, peering at a few things and considering trying to pawn them off to the neighbors sometime in the near future, but he's close enough to a window to hear him outside. After a moment he appears, leaning over the railing of the second story porch. Hey.]
Hold your horses down there for a minute. I'm gonna take care of somethin' right quick.
[He means he needs to change... Throwing dirt around while wearing clothes he actually likes is a crime, so he needs to go throw on at least a different shirt. Give him a few minutes and he'll be out, ready to raise eyebrows at the chrysanthemum. Hmm...]
no subject
Hold this for just a moment, would you? I'll change, too. [He passes the flower over with a couple of "Careful!"s before jumping straight up to enter his room through the window. This is just as fine, since he also can just jump down from the second floor.
Alert the presses, he's wearing something without sleeves. A pretty normal tank top and some pants that are tucked into the usual boots. But he's got his hair up in a bun, this time! As much as it can be contained that way. He is ready to garden.]
There we are. [He moves to gently take the flower back, smiling.] What does that shirt of yours say, anyway?
no subject
[He'll stand here for the brief time it takes Jae-Ha to change, looking curiously at this flower. Sooner rather than later he peers even more curiously at everything Jae-Ha's laid out, despite himself. Look at it all...
But hello, Jae-Ha and Jae-Ha's arms. Nice to see you. He glances down at himself as he hands the flower over.]
Y'know, let's not worry about that. Show me what ya got over here instead.
no subject
[The gardening... He guesses they're not just admiring each other in weird shirts that have phrases he can't understand. It must be something embarrassing. He'll assume so, taking this flower and stepping back over to the little section he's planned out.]
I have seeds for two different types of blue flowers, and there are plenty of vegetables. So long as we think carefully about how to group them as we plant them, it should turn out nicely. I even brought the tools.
[The gardening tools here seem very convenient! It's nice.]
no subject
Y'sure covered all the bases. [And oh, what's this?? Don't mind him picking that stupid dragon thing up from the pile.] And ya brought a friend. How sweet.

Hi there! What brings you out here?
[ As if there's an 'out here' and the topography of all of this isn't strange and mutable, but if anybody's temple is 'out [somewhere],' well. ]
no subject
[He'd forgotten that going this way would mean running across this temple. It's strange, how the directions change when he has a new place he has to consider "home." He's also carrying a dragon statue in his collection, but he'll set it all down to the side for now.]
I see you're as busy as ever. Is it going well?
no subject
no subject
Do you think so? Well, there's nothing wrong with being a little unique. [Nothing inherently wrong with just that, at least. Jae-Ha stops just beside Ukoku and what he's doing, watching with interest.]
As for me, mostly vegetables. Though I did have another god give us two types of blue flowers. It seems my new god favors blue, if he has to pick a color. [So why not, right?] You have no ideas yourself? Here I had thought your plan was chrysanthemums.
no subject
[ He pushes various things aside, digging through rows of plants, most just indistinguishable young shoots. ]
Here. It's—well, it's dark blue. That's for you.
[ He sets one plant on top of a still-sealed bag of dirt near Jae-Ha. It is a chrysanthemum, though just tiny buds. Most people would probably call it purple. ]

Drinking party!
[It's not even a few: Tsuzuki pops into view a few feet away almost at once, catching his balance and straightening up with a sympathetic smile at Jae-Ha.]
Hey.
[He reaches out to clap the other man fondly on the shoulder.]
Hey, how are you holding up? Come on, let's go grab a booth.
no subject
I should be asking you that. I haven't had the time to check on you. [Only clean his mess and leave. A bit disappointing, probably. He enters the place now to find a seat.]
no subject
Yeah -- from his expression, he's having a tough time. And he was there for Tsuzuki (and he'd even cleaned up the kitchen... what an awful thing to make a guest do, Tsuzuki owes him big.)]
How can I help?
no subject
I had to talk Kija down before he destroyed all of the heavens. [He opens with that, dropping his hand back to the table as he looks across at Tsuzuki.] It's especially difficult when I almost wanted to do the same.
Have you found anything out?
no subject
... I do know that smashing the place up isn't going to get you anything but what happened to Sho, though.
[He leans his chin on his hand, letting out a long, unhappy breath. If destroying everything would've brought Hisoka back... it wouldn't, though. Not Hisoka, or Yona, or anyone else who'd gone missing. They needed to find a better way.]
Glad you talked him down.

special delivery! April 22nd before Mai vanishes
As for his contribution to Jae-Ha's mysterious new dragon, he'll figure out an appropriate floral addition once he knows what he's working with.]
no subject
[Jae-Ha is the one to swing the door open, this time, after assuring Hazel that he'll take care of the flower transaction.] You must be the one who's here for the bird bath.
[Since he sees those flowers. He gestures both inside or out towards where the bird bath is waiting...] Would you like to come inside, or should we go straight to see it?
no subject
no subject
[He gestures to the spot, waiting for Kurama to set them down before he gestures for him to come inside. He'll hold the door open and everything.] Thank you again for bringing them.

lil green bro some vague early afternoon time on the 22nd
Keitooooo! Would you be in there, by chance? [In his free hand, he's holding... a single blue flower in a pot! Well, they had enough to spare, he didn't see why he couldn't bring over a spare blue lace.]
no subject
[Oh no. That scolding voice is coming from behind Jae-ha and quickly approaching his side! Keito swats at his hand.] Even a vagrant like you should know to show proper respect in a holy place. Belligerent acts like knocking or flamboyantly shouting names isn't permitted in any sort of holy ground! Save that for parties and crowded areas. You'll disturb the sanctity of belief.
[He could go on for longer but... 1. He's sweaty and exhausted from his jazzercising 2. He needs to turn off the music blaring from the earbuds around his neck and 3. Jae-ha has a plant. Number 2 he takes care of, pausing one of his unit's earlier tracks and shutting off his ipod; number 3 he regards with both suspicion and intrigue.]
I appreciate the thought of a housewarming gift but the sentiment is pointless if it's being delivered after our first meeting. [In other words...] ... What's it for?
no subject
[Forgive him, etc etc. He heard that music blasting, leaning in curiously just as it's turned away and down. Well, saving that question for later, he takes this chance to hold the flower pot over enthusiastically.]
Well, we ended up with one extra flower from the garden we made. I thought you might like it, seeing that you have so many animals around, as well. It's a bit more of nature.
[It's nice, right?] Did I interrupt your exercise?
no subject
[He lectures, while taking the flower and cradling it like a child. Okay, Hasumi.]
But to answer your question... no. I was just heading back to the house for a shower. [Which... he can't take now that there's company. Awkwardly, he shifts the towel covering the back of his neck. It's damp with sweat but more importantly it's hiding the blight mark. Even if Jae-ha already knows, it's become uncomfortable to even think of leaving it exposed.] As unfortunate as it is, if you're staying, you'll have to deal with the stench.
no subject
Oh, it's not as bad as you might think. [He can't smell him from here, for example, so it's just the usual odor of work. Which he can deal with.] If you really want to shower, I don't mind waiting here. Perhaps I could listen to your music there to pass the time.
[He points it out. Let him hear...]
