Closed to Tsuzuki

[It's only been two days, and Jae-Ha's feelings have only gotten more complicated. He waits for Tsuzuki at the door, not wanting to be so rude as to start drinking without him. Sending a simple text seems the best way to call him over, with god abilities as they are...]

I'm here now! ♥

[This was good in many ways, he thinks. Not only will he get to speak with Tsuzuki about this issue, but he'll be able to check on him, as well. He's been wondering how he's doing...]

Closed to Ukoku

[Jae-Ha's arms may be filled with bags of gardening supplies, but that doesn't stop him from soaring. He often likes to take the longer route home just to feel the breeze in his hair and watch the people below. In this particular instance, he happens to recognize one of the faces below. By now, he'd learned a few things from Hazel about this man, but it was nothing informative, really, so that just made him more curious.

He changes his direction and drops out of the sky in a rush of wind, landing elegantly a few feet away from Ukoku. As he stands, he flips his ponytail back over his shoulder with the bag still hung around his arm.]

Closed to Hazel

[After his small distraction, he's finally able to make it back to Hazel's temple. As usual, he lands in the yard and walks up to the door (the door, thankfully), but this time he calls out to Hazel without entering.]

[He raps his knuckles against the door in a few knocks and then steps back off of the porch with his bags of supplies. He's busy taking out the various seeds or plants he's brought, but most notably is a fully grown chrysanthemum in his hand. He'll pester Hazel with more calling out to him if he doesn't come out immediately.]

OPEN?? ISH??

Oh, sure. I couldn't really decide what to get. I think it might be a weird garden. [ No shit?? He resumes stuffing dirt into a plastic pot. ] The girl working at the nursery told me I should have had an idea before I went there.—What're you growing?

Do you think so? Well, there's nothing wrong with being a little unique. [Nothing inherently wrong with just that, at least. Jae-Ha stops just beside Ukoku and what he's doing, watching with interest.]

As for me, mostly vegetables. Though I did have another god give us two types of blue flowers. It seems my new god favors blue, if he has to pick a color. [So why not, right?] You have no ideas yourself? Here I had thought your plan was chrysanthemums.

I have chrysanthemums! Somewhere.

[ He pushes various things aside, digging through rows of plants, most just indistinguishable young shoots. ]

Here. It's—well, it's dark blue. That's for you.

[ He sets one plant on top of a still-sealed bag of dirt near Jae-Ha. It is a chrysanthemum, though just tiny buds. Most people would probably call it purple. ]

[Purple... if it's like his own eyes rather than Hazel's, surely that's fine.]

For me? [Ooh, let him look at this, he's never sure if he's seen a flower before. This one looks a little familiar, but it's nothing that stands out in his memory. Still, he's crouching to touch at one of the tiny buds.]

If you say that you have them growing somewhere else around here, then I won't feel so bad taking the only bit of life I've seen.

I do! I have— [ a pause while he finds them again— ] two more. Anyway, I insist. If you hadn't dropped out of the sky when you did, I would have had to wait for my shinki to come back. It was really a big help.

[ weird uncle must like him!! As he should!! He will eagerly take this flower, thank you. ]

For everyone who viewed it as more of a nuisance, at least I was able to help one person, as small as the job was. [ he touches the flower once more, looking pleased. ] So long as I call it "dark blue," it should be fine with Hazel, too. Have you heard of bachelor buttons or blue lace? I'll also be getting some of those.

[ it will be a grand garden!! ]

You've put a lot more thought into this than I have! Good for you. [ He sets a finished tray of Stuff in a crate, carefully, on top of other Stuff. ] How is it, having Hazel for a god?

[Oh, that's right. He'd nearly forgotten in his happiness over being appreciated that this man knew Hazel. Some sort of "weird family friend" was the description he got...? Well, that's fine.]

I'm lucky to have someone like him as my companion. He's beautiful, too. [stop] I don't remember anything of my own past, but I know that I'm a man who values freedom and hates fate more than anything else. But I don't hate being by his side at all.

[ Ukoku tilts his head, visibly kind of amused. ]

Good! He's a good kid. I'm sure you won't have any trouble.

[ UNTIL. ]

[Hmm, calling him a kid just reminds him of how wrong he was about his age. It hurts.]

He does seem to be. I can't imagine it was very safe to be without a shinki, so perhaps I can help him in some way. [Maybe... maybe.]

That being said, he is waiting on me... I've taken up your time again! [He'll pick up this flower and step over to grab his other things as best as he can.] Thank you again for the flower.

Oh, not at all! Any time.

[ He lifts a hand (holding a plant) in a super lazy wave. byeeee ]

anyway, Jae-Ha is now going to jump into the sky just like how he arrived, so there he goes, off with his new flower friend that sure won't last long.]
