In that moment, Omi loses his facade of irritation. He hasn't missed that Youji looks older, which, of course he would. Clearly Youji had survived the fall into the ocean. And he... he hadn't. He already suspected this, and being told that his pouty face had been missed sounds like confirmation of the fact. Why else would Youji be in a position to miss it?
