[You don't want to go down that road, Sora. Lightning just got here, and who knows what kind of trouble is going to find or follow her.]

Why's that a problem? You seem like a really nice person to me!

[Sora isn't really afraid of trouble following people. If he sees the good in someone, that's good enough for him. Why be worried?]

[savioring]

[Compliments will get you nowhere. Lightning crosses her arms.]

You don't know anything about me. I could be a hardened criminal. I could be plotting to take over this place. Would you still call me nice then?

[oathkeeper]

[Sora laughs brightly, not really taking her seriously with that comment. Someone as sharp at Lightning can't be all that bad. Plus he still likes her snarky humor.]

Well! Are you a hardened criminal? Big scary taker-over-er?

[savioring]

[If Fang and Vanille had a kid, would it be like Sora? Lightning is seeing a little of both in him and it's making it rather hard to be mad or irritated with Sora. Maybe he would get along well with Hope.

She shakes her head.]

No. I'm the one who takes them down.

[oathkeeper]

[He smiles happily, liking that answer a whole lot.]

There, I already know a little more about you. It's as easy as that! You're pretty strong, huh?

[And it's not a compliment, he's genuinely curious to know!]

Pretty strong? I could take you down before you knew what hit you.

[This place didn't take her time manipulation away from her, but she feels like she wouldn't need it anyways.]

[oathkeeper]

[He perks up, almost excitedly bouncing on the heels of his feet at that. There's a sparkle in his eye. Sure did sound like a challenge and Sora is always up for learning new things!]

Whoa! Really, that fast?! I'd like to see that happen!

[savioring]

I'm as fast as my name.

[Sora. Sora, please. She's probably about Cloud + Leon level.]

[oathkeeper]

[But he beat them both at the same time in the Coliseum once when he was fourteen... Then again that was with Donald and Goofy too.]

Can you teach me some cool tricks sometime?

[savioring]

[Take down a god on your own that isn't Sephiroth, and then we'll talk.]

If yo can use magic, I might have a few. Otherwise you better know how to use a sword.

[Okay, she's got him beat there.

Sora gives her a bright confident smile.]

Good news for you, I've got both of those things! [And to even demonstrate he summons his keyblade in hand and poses dramatically.] Ready anytime!

[....... Lightning is not quite sure what to think of that 'sword'. It just.... It looks literally like a giant key.]

Are you sure that's supposed to be a sword?

[oathkeeper]

[RUDE It's okay Lightning, he's heard this a million times over. He's not sure why everyone looks at his weapon with such confusion. It'a a pretty normal weapon where he comes from. So he sighs.]

Positive. It is a sword! It swings and cuts like any other sword. Just because it looks different doesn't mean it isn't.

[savioring]

.... It looks like a toy.

[Like something a parent tries to give a kid as a way to shut them up at a festival.

She can't take you seriously right now.]

[oathkeeper]

[A TOY? ...he lifts it up to look at it. Well... he guesses it kind of looks like one. But still. It's nothing to be taken lightly!]

Judging a book by its cover isn't very nice you know, Lighting!

[He tilts his head, wondering.] Wanna see me cut that tree in half?

[savioring]

[Sora. This is Lightning. She judges everything.

Cutting a tree in half?]

I think I'd be more impressed seeing you cut a rock in half. Trees are too easy.

[oathkeeper]

[Hey he can do that! That's easy mode! He's beaming at her again.]

Got it! Just watch this, and then we'll see what's a toy!

[Good thing they're in a park. He glances around and spots a decent sized boulder nearby. Without hesitation Sora attacks it with a barrage combo the usual colorful sparks flying off his blade. Just to be flashy he obliterates the boulder with Slap Shot and dust and rock go everywhere.

He turns back to her expectantly.]

[savioring]

[You get a sigh of exasperation. Lighting shakes her head.]

I said cut in half, not annihilate.

[Do you not listen?]

[oathkeeper]

What- I just-

[Sora wilts like a kicked puppy., shoulders sagging and head drooping.]

...Aw man...

[He just wanted to show off a little! His weapon is not a toy!]

[savioring]

[Sorry, but that expression on your face is just more amusing than it should be. Light maintains a straight face in the end.]

You need to learn to listen better. Still, I'm impressed that toy blade of yours even put a dent into that rock.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora sighs, exasperated.]

It's not a toy, Lightning! I mean it!

[He then dissipates the weapon and changes key-chains just to see if can convince her this way. Maybe if he changed to a more "sword" looking keyblade she'd change her mind? He swaps to Guardian Soul and summons it again.]

How about this one? It's modeled after a sword that belongs to one of the strongest guys I know.

[Not to mention it's one of his favorites, being a god and all.]

[savioring]

[Now that she knows it annoys you, she might just keep calling it a toy. It's called teasing, Sora.

Lightning puts her hand against her chin, looking it over.]

The actually looks like a sword, but the key teeth kind of make it look some weird, flat chocobo.

[oathkeeper]

[But he gets teased all the time! Just one person that doesn't tease him who isn't from where he is from...please. Just one? Nah, not happening, is it?]

I guess kind of. But do they ever work well when I'm fighting. They stick right in!

[It's definitely one of his more sharper looking keyblades.]

Hey, you know what a chocobo is?

[Sora's actually never seen a chocobo himself before. But he's got keyblades named after them.]

[savioring]

I prefer something that can slice through the enemy and not get stuck.

[Lightning nods. They're one of her favorite creatures back home because of Odin.]

Yes. Back where I'm from they're a mode of transportation for hunters. They are also good fighting companions.
